Absolutely awful experience! Avoid this place at all costs! I placed an order for a very easy bouquet and spent over 15 minutes carefully describing what I wanted the recipient to receive. I also went over several photos on their website. I was assured that what we are agreeing on would be delivered (which was not difficult to do). What the recipient received was a mostly wilted and dead looking bouquet, which needless to say, was a mortifying experience. The flowers resembled grocery store flowers and it made it look like I spent no more than $10. I was definitely ripped off big time and I can certainly make room for error or make an exception if this was a new employee practicing on my bouquet. What makes it worse, however, is how terribly and unprofessionally this was handled. I contacted the owner the next morning to calmly attempt to resolve this mishap. What I was not prepared for was for her to proceed to yell and shout and sound threatening stating that I am making HER very angry (as though as if I have inconvenienced her through the process). The only resolution she suggested is having her driver come back to the recipient's house and snatch the already dying bouquet. This is not the recipient's fault and I would not dare involve them into this unnecessary drama. Just to make sure I am not being unreasonable, I posted the photo of this bouquet to a popular social forum to ask thousands of others to see if I am overreacting, and surely, everyone unanimously used the same words: "ripped off," "dying flowers," "what?? this is from a florist??" "supermarket flowers." Some even stated that a popular 800 f l o w r s would do a better job. So there you have it. There are plenty of other mom and pop stores in the vicinity that not only would do a better job, but also treat you with respect should anything similar occur in attempting to resolve this. I went to central florist last week to buy flowers for my girlfriend. The staff including the owner were very friendly and helpful. It was nice to feel at home from the minute I walked in the door. I am glad that I didn't go to the supermarket or any other florist because all of their little finishing touches were perfect. I also want to add that the roses lasted over a week. I read the other review when I came on to write my own and I cannot believe that they are talking about the same florist. The owner and I got to talking and it is family run and operated and there are no men that work there. The florist listenened to my request and provided me with a colorful bouquet consisting of roses and a colorful assortment of flowers. In addition, the service was prompt. I expected that it would take a week, but she was able to provide next day even though I did not need the arrangement on the next day.
