So I packed up my then fiance and we took a day trip down there in May 2019! Kaylee gave us a tour, answered all of our questions, and made us feel welcome automatically. We knew this was the venue we wanted for our wedding within the first ten minutes of being there! Our original wedding was scheduled for May 2020. Of course, due to COVID our original date didn't happen. I was so upset to make that decision in March but Kaylee and the Ballroom were fantastic. The were understanding, they kept in contact, and when it came time we had no issues postponing and changing our date. We rescheduled for July 2020 with a severely shortened guest list. I had to make changes as soon as the week before our wedding date. Kaylee made sure all of our needs were taken care of. She was conscious about social distancing, about sanitation, and keeping me in the loop. I am forever grateful for her and her team. Planning a wedding is stressful enough but I was really feeling the pressure tenfold in those closing months! Our wedding day went off perfectly. I stayed in the Suite the night before and let me tell you, that bed will make even the most nervous bride sleep peacefully! The venue needs little help in the way of decor, it's naturally gorgeous. The staff on site was polite and helpful. At the end of the night the security even helped us bring a few things out! There are a LOT of stairs at this venue but they have an elevator that works great and made things MUCH easier in setting up and breaking down. The surrounding area of Downtown Macon has tons of opportunities for pictures if you want a change of scenery for a few. Honestly, despite the challenges of 2020, my wedding day is something I will look back on with overwhelming joy and that is in large part thanks to The Library Ballroom. If you want a beautiful venue with a warm staff that really cares about YOU, I say book today. I cannot recommend them enough!

I will…read morenever come back i feel horrible for my father 1600$ a year to be harrassed like I was during a 2 day visit ..... my son wasn't allowed to swim because he needed floaters "it ok he can use a noodle" he almost drowned because the life guard insisted lifevest only teach bad habits ... I would not let him continue and the staffing insisted it still wasnt ok for water wings . The security yelled pulled me over for going 31 mph downhill while maintaining a 25 mph average. I was controlling my speed and unless I was staring at my tach would I have caught this high speed indecent which is a saftey concern by itself. I understand the reason and the enforcement of these rules but it was more then that it's more like harassment and submission for the guest the security officer got in my face looked at me in the eye and got as close as he could without kissing me got loud about small details then let me off with a warning ... I bet this isnt a single issue with this guy what a clown . I maintained my composure while this guy acted like the DEA on a major drug bust.Maybe the staffing is stressed because of the over the top demands of the HOA I dont know but it was a nice environment with stressed out people and they stressed me out I'd rather be at work then at wildwood ....
