The bartender we spoke to was very helpful in explaining the drink deals and helping us choose what to get. Our drinks were made quickly and we found a nice seat by the stage to listen to the music. The band was great, really enjoyed them. We also decided to try out 3 of the food options. We ordered chips, salsa & queso from the stand by the bar. When the woman packed the sauces into the bag the tops weren't secure and the queso spilled to the bottom of the bag. I asked my fiancé to go back up and ask for it to be replaced but when he did the woman wasn't up there. So we made the best of that & just ripped the bag open & ate them how they were. Next, we ordered a chicken quesadilla from a tent on the side and asada tacos from a different truck. The tacos took about 10 minutes while the quesadilla took about 45, honestly maybe longer. The tacos were alright, nothing spectacular but they weren't nasty. For the size of the meat they could've used more cilantro and onions on top. But taste I'd give a 6/10. We noticed a line of people waiting for food forming at the quesadilla tent and since we still hadn't received ours I asked my fiance to go ask about it. About 10minutes late ours came out. I can't give a rating on food because we left shortly after that & just took the quesadilla home. Overall we had a great experience here with the drinks & music. And will definitely be returning for date night.

We had fabulous mixologists who were so sweet and made two beautiful specialty cocktails for us. They arranged for us to stay at a local bed and breakfast, and while we were at the rehearsal dinner they came in and put my dress on display in the room. It was a beautiful, unexpected surprise when I got there to see my dress on the mannequin! It took my breath away! That really was such a special touch; I couldn't stop staring at it. They took an image I liked on Pinterest and had our invitations modeled after it, and then had them addressed and mailed for us. Kelly made my bouquet, which was beautiful, and then had the flowers dried, pressed, and assembled into a shadowbox wall hanging for me. They seriously took care of every little detail and then some; they went above and beyond in every way. We couldn't have been happier with their service. Kelly was available to talk or text whenever I needed her, even if it was just to vent when I was stressed. We had the PERFECT wedding, and I would recommend Kelly to anyone. She takes dreams and turns them into reality.

The Buffalo Chicken Egg Rolls were just as amazing as I remembered, and the wings were cooked well. The food is definitely the highlight and the main reason I'll be returning to try more menu items. However, there were several areas that could use improvement. I ordered a tequila and pineapple juice drink, but it tasted watered down and lacked balance. It fell flat and wasn't very enjoyable. The blue cheese also wasn't appetizing and didn't pair well with my lemon pepper wings. I ended up using ranch instead, and I believe I was still charged for the blue cheese. The service was pleasant but inconsistent. My server was friendly and polite, which is why I still left a decent tip, but she didn't check on me as often as expected. I also found it unusual that I had to send my tip through Cash App because their payment system doesn't allow tips to be added directly to the receipt. That process felt inconvenient and outdated. The atmosphere has a lot of potential. The building itself is beautiful, and I love the overall ambiance. However, the seating could use some attention. I wore shorts, and the booth cushions were worn enough that they scratched my legs. The restaurant could also benefit from having a host or hostess. When you walk in, you're left to find your own seat, and there doesn't seem to be much guidance for guests. It appeared that there was only one server covering the dining area when I visited around 4:30-5:00 PM. While it wasn't particularly busy, having additional wait staff and a dedicated host would likely improve the customer experience significantly. The staff seemed nice and professional overall, but the restaurant would benefit from additional training, staffing, and a more organized front-of-house operation. Overall, I'd rate my experience 3.5 out of 5 stars. The food is absolutely on point and keeps me coming back, but improvements in service, seating, and guest hospitality would make a big difference. I started planning my wedding in March 2019, though I had venues in mind long before that. The…read moreLibrary Ballroom had always been on my list due to it's gorgeous architecture and location. So I packed up my then fiance and we took a day trip down there in May 2019! Kaylee gave us a tour, answered all of our questions, and made us feel welcome automatically. We knew this was the venue we wanted for our wedding within the first ten minutes of being there! Our original wedding was scheduled for May 2020. Of course, due to COVID our original date didn't happen. I was so upset to make that decision in March but Kaylee and the Ballroom were fantastic. The were understanding, they kept in contact, and when it came time we had no issues postponing and changing our date. We rescheduled for July 2020 with a severely shortened guest list. I had to make changes as soon as the week before our wedding date. Kaylee made sure all of our needs were taken care of. She was conscious about social distancing, about sanitation, and keeping me in the loop. I am forever grateful for her and her team. Planning a wedding is stressful enough but I was really feeling the pressure tenfold in those closing months! Our wedding day went off perfectly. I stayed in the Suite the night before and let me tell you, that bed will make even the most nervous bride sleep peacefully! The venue needs little help in the way of decor, it's naturally gorgeous. The staff on site was polite and helpful. At the end of the night the security even helped us bring a few things out! There are a LOT of stairs at this venue but they have an elevator that works great and made things MUCH easier in setting up and breaking down. The surrounding area of Downtown Macon has tons of opportunities for pictures if you want a change of scenery for a few. Honestly, despite the challenges of 2020, my wedding day is something I will look back on with overwhelming joy and that is in large part thanks to The Library Ballroom. If you want a beautiful venue with a warm staff that really cares about YOU, I say book today. I cannot recommend them enough!
