So we…read morenext called Lakeland Glass and Mirror asking if they could cut a custom top for our night stands. By Friday afternoon they were done at HALF the price we found at online glass cutters. They had such exceptional service at such great prices we brought a broken mirrored piece of furniture when we picked up our nightstand tops, he was able to fix the mirrored piece the very same day! For any glass or mirror issues we have in the future, we'll DEFINITELY use these guys.

I contacted Lakeland Glass & Mirror because after looking at the Google reviews, I saw that they were favorable and they were also a family owned small business with years of experience! I called and spoke to Dakota and told him what I had and that if I could save a service call charge, I would bring the window to the shop. He agreed and when I arrived, Dakota greeted me and disassembled the window trim so that he could get the correct glass insert measurements. I asked if they could just replace the broken pane. However, since it was double paned and filled with an inert gas, I would need to pay for both panes of glass. The repair could not be performed at the shop as their vendor has the equipment and sterile environment in which to replace the glass with new panes sealed with argon gas. Unfortunately, this type of repair and gas fill must be in a clean, dust & lint-free atmosphere. I was told when they ordered the new panes that the e-film may be a slightly different tint than my current film. They showed me a sample of the e-film on a sample window glass and the change was barely perceptible! I was told it could be two or three weeks before the window was back at their shop and they would call me when it was ready for pick up. I got a call from Dakota less than two weeks later. I was charged a reasonable fee for the new glass unit which included a discount for my military service. A $25 fee was included in the cost of the repair which I felt was more than reasonable since I was avoiding about a $125 service call fee which would include measuring the window at my home and having them come back out and install the new window pane unit when complete! Dakota installed the new glass section into my frame while I waited and I was headed home within an hour! I spoke with the owner and one of the other family members while Dakota installed the new window. They were friendly, professional and very accommodating! I would highly recommend Lakeland Glass & Mirror for your glass and mirror repairs or purchase.

Tom set up an appointment with us on a Saturday, which was wonderful, so we didn't have to take off work (or get a quote during dinner time). He brought a window sample and brochures, discussed the process, measured, and gave us a quote. I checked some of his other reviews and the business is legit, so we hired him. Yesterday, at about the 8 week mark from start to finish, the installers completed. They did such a great job, keeping the house clean and all windows look amazing. We even had a challenging one, very tall with a giant arch, and about 6 feet wide. We also got a sliding glass door put in, and that looks wonderful too. We will be looking to upgrade our front door in the next few months, and will turn to Tom and his crew for the work. Don't hesitate to call Tom. You won't regret it.

I felt the price was fair, and although the job took longer than we were originally told when we signed the contract, Tom (owner) discounted the balance at the end to make up for the delay in completing the project. Tom's crew was professional in every way during the process. The amount of heat coming from the older windows compared to the new ones on the east and west sides of our house is so much better. I wish that DJT didn't end all the federal Energy Tax Credits effective 2026. We could have saved on the cost.
