I emailed my entire neighborhood to see if anyone was a notary or had any suggestions. Someone suggested this source. I contacted them and a youngish gentleman called me back within an hour or two (I was thrilled). We set up an appointment at his place which was about 10-15 mins away, for early the next morning. He even accepted a time that was earlier than he typically starts working (I requested the favor so that my husband could get the form notarized and then travel to his workplace, in time for his 8 a.m. appointment. After setting all this up, one of my neighbors whom I don't know emailed that she's a notary and was happy to help us. Since she lives within a 2-minute drive from us and could accommodate my husband at 7:30 a.m., AND wouldn't charge us, we decided to go with her. I contacted the young gentleman who was expecting my husband early the next morning, and told him we wouldn't need his service after all. I profusely apologized of course, for troubling him. So, we didn't end up using him as a notary but he was so gracious that I give him as many stars as possible, without having even used his service.

The company was aware that these two documents were for the country of Portugal and evidently people who live in the United States cannot have United States documents from a different country!!!!!! OMG NIGHTMARE I BET IS JUST GAVE $380 and my Social Security number to a thief!!! I am waiting for the company to email back and I will change this review if they rectify the situation.
