I came to this location to send a return package via FedEx. The company I was returning the item to had emailed me a QR code. I absolutely could not believe when the person helping me said that they could not take the QR code because they didn't have the device to read it. What?! So I was able to figure our getting a pdf to print the label from the company. I was told to forward it to Lake Forest Pack and Ship's email address so they could print it. After that was done, I was asked to pay $1.00 for the printing of the return label!!!! Keep in mind this is all because they couldn't read the QR code. In a bit of irony, they have a postcard with a QR code on it to make it easy to write a review on Yelp for them. Good thing I had a device in my hand that can read QR codes. read more

Been using this service for many, many years. I've sent packages, had them wrap and packages, used their copy machines, etc. I've never had a problem, and have always experienced stellar service. It does cost a bit more than the US post office, but I'd rather go here for the quick, efficient service, than to stand in line forever at the post office. read more

I have used this company twice in the past... I sometimes use the shipping store in West Lake Forest. I was here two days ago Saturday to ship my son's X-Mas presents back to LA where we live. The person who helped me was friendly and efficient. On this visit, I wish I had been told that my package would not ship until today (Monday) when I was there two days ago. Being that these are toys my son is eagerly waiting for, I would have paid for 2nd day shipping had I known. A solid place and they get the job done. read more

Absolutely horrible, do NOT let them pack your packages! I dropped off some items to be packed and shipped ahead to myself so I didn't have to carry so much on my flight. Some of those items were breakable. They literally threw everything into one box and taped it up. No additional packaging or padding or anything. The box was bulging when I got it, they didn't even use the right size box. Several items did not survive the trip. Never, ever again! I usually drop off Fedex packages here as there is no Fedex store nearby and USPS as the post office is often slow and parking is difficult. I never had a problem with a single package. More importantly, the owner takes the packages with a smile even though I doubt they make much for just receiving packages. I feel like they are offering a service to the community more than anything else. I so sometimes buy supplies and the prices are reasonable. Thanks. read more

I went to Lake Forest Pack and Ship to mail my passport renewal. I had filled out a fedex form because I wanted to send it via fedex, to be able to track it since I am mailing my current passport and original marriage certificate. When I got there, the man at the cashier told me it's $17.21 (note: he did not even look at my form first to see where it was going). He processed my credit card and after I had signed the receipt, the other man at the counter (I found out later on that he's the owner) told him it was addressed to a PO Box so I can't send it via fedex since they don't deliver to PO Boxes. He said I could send it via USPS, which would cost $35 and no tracking. I was surprised and didn't believe him. (I just thought it sounded absurd to pay that much with NO tracking even). When I did not buy what he said, he then said I could send it via certified mail. NOTE: my documents are sealed in a white envelope. (This information is important in this review.) I was given the form to fill out for certified mail. I then asked the owner if he would reverse the fedex transaction and he said no because it's only a $0.50 difference. He then gave me $0.50 in cash. First of all, that raised a red flag but I was in a hurry because I needed to pick up my son from daycare so I did not have time to question it. But it did not sit well with me. On my way to my son, I called my husband and asked him to call the post office to find out how much certified mail costs and he found out that it's only $3.30 (x2 with return mail). He charged me $16.71! After I picked up my son, I called the business and advised the man on the other line that I would like to get my mail back that I just dropped off about 20 minutes ago. He asked me why and I said because he overcharged me. I explained to him that I just called the post office and I told him how much certified mail costs. He then started yelling at me! Wow, really?! He started arguing with me and told me I had to pay for the envelope. USPS envelopes are free! And even if he put my ALREADY SEALED ENVELOPE in another envelope, how could he charge me almost $10 extra for it??? This man was so angry and was screaming at me over the phone and the last thing he said was "Just get your god damn money back!". I responded "good!" then I hung up. When I got there, the owner went inside his office. When I looked at my stuff, my white envelope was ripped open! Uh, that is a federal offense! AND to make matters worse, he crumpled my documents!!! MY APPLICATION FORM AND MY ORIGINAL MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE WERE CRUMPLED! I asked the man at the counter why my envelope is ripped and he said he doesn't know. Such bs!!! I was so appalled and I just couldn't believe how nasty these men are. Most importantly, how unprofessional AND unethical could you be as a business owner?! I believe that he was very angry because I just caught him scamming a customer, me! The man (not the owner) took my credit card to process the credit. Before I got inside my car (thank goodness I looked at the receipt) I noticed that he only processed $8 of credit! How ridiculous are these people?! I had to go back in there and told him I paid him $17.21 and I want my money back. I was ready to call the police if he did not give me all my money. It's not really about the money but the principle. Someone needs to look into their books, check how many other customers they might have scammed and overcharged over the years. I don't care if you are in an affluent neighborhood, taking advantage of people is very wrong and scamming is against the law! AND they should know better that opening a sealed mail/envelope is a federal offense! I was so upset at how these people treated me. It's very surprising that they are in Lake Forest, these people have no business doing business here. The owner most especially, the way he does business and handled the situation, he does not belong in a neighborhood like Lake Forest!!! There is a post office that's only a 2-minute drive from this place, I suggest you take your business there instead. I support and prefer to give my business to small businesses but not this one. I would never return to this place and I hope that others see through the character of this deceiving and deceitful owner. read more

I'm not happy with my previous experience. I've used another place in Lake Forest and they always stood behind their word, and no paper work was ever lost, from any Fed Ex shipping! It isn't very often that I need to ship anything but when I do i am sure to stop in at Lake Forest Pack & Ship. Michael and Rael are always friendly and helpful. If you need to buy a box or packing materials their prices are reasonable. They have never failed to pack my stuff well and get it shipped out in a timely fashion. They also offer copying and printing services. The copiers they have are awesome. They make high quality copies and they're fast too. read more
