I have had my baby girl scheduled for appointments here for the past two years, just check ups and vaccines, I haven't had any issues other than they are short staffed as everyone is at this time so it is y unfortunately expected. Their on call drs for baby care questions are always prompt and helpful. This particular area of cmmc has been doing pretty well from what I've experienced under the circumstances, though I've needed minimal care for my child so expected appointnent are still going well here. read more

Customer Service at Central Maine Family Practice is the same at all CMMC locations, it is terrible. You can't get thru to them on the phone, they don't call you back for hours and you can't get the information you need. It took me over a week and several calls just to get a prescription refill. I love and have had my Doctor for many years but the policies and procedures and training of support staff has me wondering if I should go somewhere else. read more

Was in the waiting room for the infusion center and it is mid October and the AC is still blowing cold air. I asked the lady at the desk if they could shut it off. Her reply was oh many people and staff have complained and nothing has been done. CMMC its freaking October get ya crap together or is this your way of job security by making people sick. read more

This practice is terrible. More than once I have been left on hold for up to an hour. Once receiving a call back I am then told that they will call me back to schedule an appointment soon. This does not usually occur for about 3-4 more hours. And when they finally do call to schedule an appointment I am usually told that they cannot get me in today. Save your time and go to a different practice/clinic. Central Maine Family Practice is very unorganized which forces their sick and paying patients to wait hours on end just to be told that they cannot be seen. Tried to return a call from a nurse (Call I had been waiting for since morning) and was on hold for 20 minutes in which that time the message would come on that they will be with you and you will be taking in order. They gave me a automated option every 40 seconds or more so that I could stay on the line or leave a message and they would return the call. The original call from the nurse was important to me so I waited another eight minutes in which time they gave no automated option to leave a message. After 28 minutes total I hung up. Time is now after 4:13PM so I called again thinking I could you automated option 1, but it never came up again. After another six minutes I gave up. This should never happen especially in a Hospital. I am waiting for dialysis and have needed a Iron infusion for three weeks. I have insurance but I guess that does not mater. Looking at going to Maine Medical Center for the future. I am so worn out I cannot work anymore. CMMC should be ashamed of yourself. read more

I am so frustrated with the hold times and the annoying automated system that requires you to press option #2 every two minutes to remain on hold while you wait to speak with a person. Then 30-45 minutes of holding each time only to be told that they will take a message and someone will call back....of course when they FINALLY do call back a day or two later I missed the call while in a meeting. They left a voicemail instructing me to call them back again...which just results in a repeat of the above process. I am finding another practice, because this is unacceptable!!!!!!! Poor customer service!!!! They need to hire more staff to handle calls. There are so many online reviews expressing this same complaint. It is really disappointing. I have been a patient for a long time, but my doctor recently left the practice. I am not going to continue to deal with such poor service. I am taking my business elsewhere. read more
