My pain doctor referred me to him, we spent maybe 15 minutes on Telehealth where he called me…read moreoverweight and obese numerous times. When I tried to talk to him about my concerns with my lower back he would jump back to the weight! He was very unprofessional and rude! I wasn't going into this appointment looking to have back surgery, I was hoping he could educate me on my back conditions and he failed to do that! I definitely do not recommend him, especially if you aren't an ideal BMI..

My husband was referred to this Dr. when he broke his lower back completely in half. He immediately…read moresat down and asked my husband to move closer to him to talk with with, aiming their backs at me to ignore me (wifey) as soon as we sat down. He began discussing a very very risky surgery that my husband and I immediately didn't agree with. I shook my head no and scowled while he side eyed me, I didn't even say anything. This Dr backed his seat up and looked right at me full of anger and distain asking why I felt he shouldn't have that exact surgery. We explained my family member became permanently disabled due to such a surgery where they operate through the stomach to get to the spine (her ureters were severed on accident) and instead of understanding our concerns and helping us find another solution he got severely hostile saying "so your aunt had a surgery and suddenly your the expert in that surgery". He began to verbally assault me and stood up aggressive moving towards me in what felt like an attack in which case I stood up quick to leave. He stepped aside to block the door. He also put his leg inbetween my husband legs, who was sitting in his chair still, and leaned in preventing my husband from standing and me from leaving. When my husband backed his chair up to stand up I took the chance to find a way out. He nearly purposely elbowed me as I squeezed between him yelling at me and the bed. I got out as soon as I could but he continued screaming at my husband in his face and told my husband he was fired. Pretty sure we hire them, not the other way around. Definitely not a doctor you want in charge of your life. Massive god complex, a lot of arrogance and definitely sexist towards woman. We reported him to the hospital and asked that he be drug tested as he showed up an hour late and his behavior was so wild we had no idea what else it could be. Of course the hospital sided with him to protect him and the story was that he was calm the entire time. Even though the staff and patients outside in the waiting room heard everything. This doctor is not to be trusted. He is hostile towards women and has no respect for his patients. He feels you work for him and so he will treat you however he pleases. This is my opinion/review/experience. Anyone searching for an amazing spinal surgeon in Maine ...Dr Wahlig in portland Maine is the best and he saved my husband's quality of life. Also stated they rarely do the surgery Dr Radwan wanted because of how risky it is and that my husband definitely did not need all the hardware he wanted to place in my husband's spine. Stay away from this Dr. at all costs, no surgery is worth the risk of having this Dr. put you through an unnecessary risky surgery. No one deserves to be treated the way he treated my husband and I and the fact he hospital did nothing about his actions is insane. We have not been to that hospital since. Stay clear, there ARE plenty of other surgeons in maine.
