Overall amazing experience, the food was GREAT and the chefs were so knowledgeable and fun! They made it very interesting and the two hours flew by. I was just let down because after paying $70 you would expect more for an experience that sitting and watching and eating. I wish there was some kind of hands on experience. I understand it's difficult for the entire thing to be hands on but just a segment like prepping salad, learning how to chop vegetables like they do, or something else simple would have made the experience better. It would also have been nice if there were options for people who don't drink because I would assume that plays a role into the hefty price. I also did not see any options for people with dietary restrictions granted I don't have one; I would just be a bit concerned if I did. Overall beautifully prepared and amazing food. I would not personally come back because of economic reasons but I enjoyed my experience!

I had a great time today cooking with cast iron skillets. The dinner was really good and the dessert was very nice also. I will definitely do this again. I met and cooked with a great group of people.

We took their couples class "summer lobster dinner" and the meal that we made was honestly fantastic. I don't cook sea food that often and this class was the same price as some of the Italian themed classes so it was a great deal for a date night. The instructors were very knowledgeable and very entertaining and I felt like I walked away better prepared to make shellfish at home. The only downside is we were paired with another couple for cooking and if the couple you were paired with was not interested in sharing you may do less cooking than you had hoped. I would 100% recommend doing this with another couple that you know but I probably would not sign up my fiance and I alone again.

We celebrated our 5th anniversary with chef Henry and his great staff, cooking DELICIOUS lobster dishes. We've never done a cooking class so it was a new experience. Tables were seperated in groups of 4. We watched chef demo and then we were able to try it for ourselves. It was relaxed and fun. The food was wonderful but definitely not "swimsuit body" lol. Overall we had a pretty good time!

This places is a hidden oasis of brunch goodness…read more My mom has been badgering me for years to try CSFW's brunch and I finally decided to make a reservation for us to have brunch as a belated Mother's day treat. As mentioned in the other reviews, the cost is $16.95 pp. When they seat you, you get a choice of three different entree's (i chose the seafood cake with Orzo, my mom chose the grilled pork chop with polenta) along with fresh made bread, homemade fabulous strawberry lemon marmalade, and flavored butters. In addition to that, you have access to the various food stations. They have a salad and soup station, an omelet station, a pasta station, and a dessert station. They provide you with basic beverages such as coffee, iced tea, orange juice - but you can also BYOB so making your own mimosas are definitely an option. I could go on an on about how wonderful my meal and experience was - i really cant say enough but here's a short version: My seafood cake was heavenly. it consisted of crab, shrimp, and cod. it was mostly seafood and didn't require along of binders. I was seriously disappointed that it was gone so quickly. Keep in mind, your entree is more of a small plate, however with all the other goodies at the stations you'll definitely leave stuffed. The soup i got was a corn chowder that was excellent. Of course, you cant go wrong with an omelet! it was fluffy and perfectly cooked. I passed on the pasta station because i was getting too full and I didn't want to miss out on dessert. I loved how all of the staff was eager to talk about the food, process, etc. Their service was impeccable and made our experience very memorable. They even had a guy there playing the acoustic guitar. If you love food and love being around people who enjoy discussing ingredients and techniques this place is for you. Heck, even if you just want to eat and chill this place is for you! Make sure you call ahead for a reservation. Also: i would consider this place more kid-tolerant than kid-friendly.

Yum! Great brunch experience!…read more There are a half dozen (or so) stations set up including made-to-order omelets, pancakes, salads, soups, pasta & desserts. You also get to order from a menu of seasonal entrees. All delicious. Brunch includes tea, coffee & juice for $16.95 pp. I dined with a group of girls and brought in a cooler with champagne & grapefruit juice, which I recommend doing. Service was excellent.

They gave me their email and online contact information to set up classes in the future ... though if we do we may just go in on a day I know they are open and am in the general area taking my daughter to the museum or zoo. The class we had was the fullest I have seen it before so I'm guessing they are growing. Again the staff at the place is wonderful and willing to work with you ... for me its just a bit out of the way, classes for my daughters age group are not conducive to our schedules, (3:45 Tuesday which is hard for us to get too after work and school & Saturday at 945 which fills up fast) and my daughter gets a little wiggle worm tword the end of class ... so we'll continue just doing classes once every blue moon ... I really wish their cooking school in our area was still open because it was right by my daughters school.

She made an excellent substitution for one vegetarian in the group. Chef Erin is amazing, personable, respectful, and professional! She made the meal very easy to recreate at home with tips and tricks. Amazing stuffed mushrooms are easier and do not take as long as I used to make them. I am no longer intimidated to make hollandaise sauce! The class was designed for however much effort you want to put in. It was a very relaxing, cozy atmosphere with time to spare to hangout. The part I had already looked forward to most was no dishes to clean up! Overall, it was a good experience for home cooks to gain confidence in the kitchen. It was a fancy menu and the chef enlightened us on how straightforward it is to put together. She empowered us to do it ourselves, revealing how easy it actually is.
