All of his equipment is state of the art; for example, all the radiographs he takes are digital (better images with much less X-ray radiation). The chairs in his new office are better than any other I've sat in - big, comfortable chairs that massage you, making the experience more calming and pleasant. Dr. Ray and his staff are very friendly and kind - they are always helpful in scheduling appointments around school. I am a dental student myself, so I can say from experience that Dr. Ray is a fantastic dentist. All his equipment, materials, and procedures are current, and he is great at explaining what procedures need to be done and why. Fast forward to now and both of those dentists are gone. Now there's this Dr. Harvey. I got a bad feeling from her right away. I had a tooth that broke more than halfway through. I decided to call White Park Dental since I was a patient there before. The tooth broke the beginning of February and she couldn't see me until February 24. In the past dentists would recommend you to someone else who can get you in Sooner. She didn't care that I was in pain and blew me off. Ok, now it's the 24th and I was so full of anxiety I just couldn't go. The pain in the tooth got much better but I was so scared. I just had that uncaring feeling. Before they had me fill tons of paperwork, which seemed more important than my pain. So because it was my first visit, even though I was a previous patient, they said I could not reschedule with them. Yes, I know it was my fault for not going. But if you're looking for a caring dentist and office staff i high recommend going somewhere else. When I got there and told them I was pregnant and wasn't sure about doing repeat X-rays as I just had one done at my other dentist they were rude and told me I couldn't be seen and they had to repeat them. They told me it wasn't a big deal to do X-rays while pregnant. They just made me feel uncomfortable. I would have felt better if they put me in a room and had a medical professional talk to me about it instead of being turned away at the desk by the receptionist.

And they were great. It seems to be under new ownership. Seems to have been "corperatized" as they have adopted policies that prevent them from offering the care they once did. They will not see you under any circumstances unless you book a consultation with upwards of 20 x-rays and sign off on a long term plan of care when all you have is a tooth that needs a filling. In the end that amounts to alot of wasted time for both parties, and a hell of an expensive filling. ​ironically this makes them both overly expensive and not very helpful at all.
