He listens to all my concerns and never makes me feel rushed. He uses a combined approach of Eastern and Western medicine which I find incredibly effective. He's as likely to recommend treating a condition with acupuncture as he is recommending a drug. He's a wonderful doctor and I am grateful to have him. I've never met another doctor like him.

I actually started at this location a LONG time ago (and about 3 doctors ago within this practice). My original doctor is still here (I think) but I changed when my office ended up right next to the Polaris location. I initially got connected to the practice through a referral to a doctor who had expertise in 2 areas I needed help with. The fact that it was sports medicine was just an added bonus. I appreciate their long hours and variety of doctors. They are also connected to PT which I've had to use upon occasion. My current doctor is younger than me - a female, not by requirement but she was available when the prior doctor (whom I didn't really like) left the practice. I had only seen him twice and I landed with him when I changed locations. I had to see my doctor this time as I needed a script renewed. I had the 7 AM appointment and was called back barely after sitting down after checking in. My stats were taken by the assistant and again - soon after she left the room the doctor appeared. NO WAITING! This is a MAJOR pain point for me as I'm a lawyer and my time is valuable. I've had some experiences recently at another doctor (specialist) where I had to get up and leave before even getting called back from the waiting room as I just couldn't waste any more of my time waiting. The frosting on the cake was that the office manager was SURPRISED when I left. Anyways, I have not encountered ANYTHING like this at Sports Max. They respect me and my time. My office moved downtown and I have stayed with the Polaris office. I would like to have a doctor near my home (Gahanna), but OhioHealth doesn't seem to have anything there - and Sports Max definitely does not. As a result, I'll stay with SportsMax and the inconvenient drive up as long as they keep their scheduling accurate and get me in and out quickly!

I am a new patient that had an appointment for the first time today. The doctor was pleasant and…read moreseemed to be very thorough. However, we spoke so long about my skin rash that I forgot to ask about a mole I needed looked at. I minutes down the road and proceeded to call back to the front desk to tell them my dilemma. When I spoke to the receptionist, she told me that in order for me to have it looked at I needed to schedule another appointment and pay another $75 co-pay. I would've gladly turned back around to have them look it or stopped back in another time I definitely got the impression from my conversation with the front desk, staff, that the practice is more concerned with the monetary value of my visit as opposed to keeping a new patient. I am really in my experience, and I will not be returning back to this practice.

Scheduling is tough, you need to be ready to wait to get in, but I find that's the same with any specialist. I've had a few minor surgeries here and all went well, healed great, and I felt safe in their care. If you need a dermatologist, this place is worth the drive from where you are.

Only plus was the doctor was able to see me quickly, but after telling him my tooth hurt with any…read morepressure- he pressed on it as hard as he could with his hand. He then proceeded to ask me to bite down on a x ray holder after voicing to him (again) it hurt with any pressure on that tooth. I left that day with no treatment and in way worse pain since he put so much pressure on the tooth and an appointment to come back in two weeks. He also performed something I was told he was not licensed to do. They do not tell you any prices up front and would "recommend" the most expensive treatment with out letting you know it would be 1500+ after dental insurance. Overall- very painful and expensive.
