Super cute spot. We came here for an afternoon walk. It has a great Sunset view. It is perfect for a picnic. There were people bbq on the public grills. There is a beautiful monument for Veterans. They have a mailbox type thing, where you can add memory items. I imagine in the future they will open it up and show what stuff was like in our time? There seems to be a community center or senior center within the park. We didn't go in the actual building but we could see that there was a gym inside. There are some beautiful areas and we saw someone doing an actual professional photoshoot. The grounds are definitely perfect for that. Plenty of parking available. read more

Clean and well kept park in Rancho. They provide 2 dog parks around the area. Dog friendly park so bring your fur baby with you for a walk. They honor the women and men who have risked their lives to protect us. They have small memorial for them and a Reserved parking if you received a Purple Heart! Central Park is great! We've spent a lot of time here over the years. They have EV charging here as well. This is a very popular spot to take photos for the local high school dances. There's a cool little bridge, but it was super crowded with other homecoming groups for photos, as well as a wedding! There's plenty of space and other courtyards available for photo opportunities. Among many other reasons, this is a great addition to the City of Rancho Cucamonga! read more

Park was clean and easy to access. However, not much to do here. Relatively desolate park without many things going on. Playground is on the smaller side and you would have to walk a bit to reach the dog park. Probably would stick to my local HOA park. read more

Wonderful spot to have company parties or events. Parking is vast and always available. The park always looks clean. Love to see the kiddos in the dance class. Miss seeing my niece when she was little in her dance class. There is also a little free library stand!! Sad I was late to the class, if not, I probably would have loved to take a new book to read!! read more

Really sad this park is not considerable to disabled persons. The parking is ample for handicapped however if you need safe and near access to the baseball fields it is not easy and the walk can be long. We asked a park official who really wasn't helpful or acted as if he cared or even wanted to help. How sad. I am very discouraged about the inability for me to safely get around this park to see my grandson play. I wish you would care a little more about disabled persons. read more

Great little green oasis. I come here when I want to relax and take a stroll among the well-manicured grass and trees. There's a little playground and a covered picnic area. Plenty of covered parking as well. The conference hall is right there as well and is spacious inside. My company holds their annual summit meetings in there. read more

Newest addition to Central Park ... a dog park complete with a huge yellow geometric Doberman! I like this spacious dog park which has separate areas for big and small dogs. It comes complete with obstacle course and balls for your pet to fetch. This is a great place to have your dog meet other canines! I did not encounter any aggressive dogs, but I would still keep a close eye on your fur baby as some people brought medium to big dogs in the area. This is one calm, serene, family friendly park! I come here sometimes because it's close to the dentist and dog groomers, and it's always neat, clean and very quiet! There are people laying around on the grass reading, what looks like a Tai Chi group exercising, and a few folks walking their dogs! There's a senior or multipurpose building that always seems to have events or meetings, a great looking playground for kids, a bbq area, plenty of wide open spaces for picnics or parties, and no shady type people, at least that I've seen! In the western part of the center there's a really nice veteran's memorial set up and it appears to have tributes to firefighters also. There's a bike path that runs along the northern edge of the park and a open gym area as well! I saw a new, large, dog park being built about a block to the west which I can't wait for, but for now, I'm loving this park and I think you will too! read more

I wanted to try this park with my toddler because I noticed while driving through they had a nice park structure that is partially enclosed. It is hard to find enclosed park structures in the Rancho area so I was hopeful. Unfortunately this play structure is not well maintained. The spongy flooring around the gymnasium is uneven and in need of maintenance and there was litter all around both trashcans. Before leaving, I wanted to use the public restroom but there is not one nearby. Using my stepcounter I had to walk .78 miles roundtrip to make it to the front of the senior center and enter to use the restroom. It seems silly to me to not have any public restrooms near a play structure. Additionally, the parking is right across from the structure, but the entrances just aren't positioned strategically so you end up having to walk halfway around just to get it. Overall, this park has a great view of the mountains, but it is not an area that is thoughtfully designed or maintained and I probably will choose a different park in the future. read more

I think they were supposed to expand this park all the way down to the east side, but not sure what happened to that phase. In any case, Central Park is a nice park with the senior center in the middle. There's plenty of grass, dirt trails and sidewalk to take a stroll either by yourself or with your pets. There's also a small playground for kids to the side. There's also a fitness court for adults where you can get in a workout using the fitness equipment. Download the Fitness Court app. for more exercises and instruction on how to use the various parts of the Fitness Court. Just above the park is the Pacific Electric Trail which is great for walking and mountain biking and provides scenic views. This park is more for relaxing, walking/hiking, having a picnic or flying a kite. The mountains in the background add for a picturesque view and sunsets from here are really nice. It also feels really safe here as there are a lot of families and just citizens walking about. One thing to be weary of are coyotes in the field adjacent to the park. One snuck up on me and my small dog and tried to eat the dog. This was closer to 6 at night when the sun was going down, but be on the lookout for them in the early morning as well. There's plenty of parking on both sides and they also have covered parking with solar panels above, although, one time I parked under the covered parking and came back to a car full of bird poop. Not too much of a downside here, it's really a nice place to walk in the evening and reflect. read more

This outside gym is clean and inexpensive. It's at a location anyone can stop by and spend 10 min on each station to work on strength and flexibility. Why city leaderships don't add a station like this to all neighborhood parks in America is not wise. Bolted down pull up, dip, sit up stations. This is a pretty neat little park. I like that there is no sand on the playground. I also like that there are little paths around and near the playground for kids to ride bikes or scooters, etc. there are lots of grassy areas for playing ball or picnics. Plenty of parking. There was quite a bit for kids of all ages to play on. Different structures for different ages. Baby & toddler swings. Big kid swings and even a swing for the physically impaired. There is not much shade however. But all the structures were in good condition, and the playground was clean. We ride our bikes on the Pacific Electric Trail to this park on Sunday and we're quite surprised by the amount of people there at 10am. It's obviously quite popular. There is a senior center and a really nice memorial to our fallen service members. The community center was open on Sunday so we were able to use the restrooms which were extremely clean and well stocked. It appeared they even had a snack area inside to help yourself. Overall it was a pleasant day and I'm thankful that the community center was open so my 3yo could take advantage of the restrooms before riding our bikes back home. read more

We went to this part for the first time. The park itself is nice. Wish it had more grass and shade for the owners. The only problem that we had was, after coming here our fur babies started itching. They never had this problem before and when I showered them we found fleas on them. Sad to say, if u bring your dogs here just be careful. read more

An outstanding community resource, Central Park offers free and low-cost services, educational classes, and facility rentals to residents. There are picnic areas, playgrounds, and a bike-walking-running trail that extends far past the city limits, connecting with Fontana, Upland, and beyond. The city hosts plenty of classes and community events for residents (non-residents are welcome, too, but for a higher fee). The various-sized rooms can be rented out for your events as well and the front desk staff is always friendly and helpful. Inside there is a lot of space inside and out, along with plenty of chairs and tables for public use. I've come here a few times to get work done, taking advantage of the free wi-fi. There's a snack bar open during the week to keep you fueled as you work and/or study. The parking lot was recently re-done to include solar-panel covered parking, so in the often scorching weather here it's nice to know that the city is being environmentally conscious. read more

Really nice park and lots of shade to sit down and have a picnic at. The downside is that there aren't any restrooms. I tried going into one of the facilities but it was closed so it's not very convenient if you plan on staying longer than a few hours. read more

Not sure if this is going to make a difference, but I'm incredibly disappointed in the misinformation I was given regarding shelter reservations at this facility. A young women helped when I went to reserve a shelter for my daughters birthday party. She had told me the city is closed on Sundays, so she could not reserve a shelter for me. She stated it was first come first serve. My husband and I showed up to our desired shelter at 7am (our party started at 2) to make sure we got it before anyone else only to find out IT WAS RESERVED THROUGH THE CITY. Why was I given the wrong information? read more

My family hosted an event and rented one of their rooms. Having never been here before, I was very impressed by the facilities, which seemed to be rather new. Parking was ample, and the staff was great about making sure that we had everything that we needed. My only knock against the place would be if they had signs on the perimeter of the park, indicating where to park based on what room you were going to. The park itself was very nice and well maintained. The city should be proud of this venue. read more

There are baby swings here, which are great for 2-5 year olds, but definitely not for the small kiddos at under 1 years of age. This is one of the larger parks in Rancho Cucamonga, with plenty of green to run, play on, and solar panel covered parking, which I can appreciate for its eco-sustainable impact on the environment. Didn't spend too much time here yesterday due to the humid heat outside, but when the temps cool down I'll come back and do a proper eval of the area. read more

This is a fun park to bring a scooter, skates or a bike... there are paved paths that make it easy. It is a foam pad based playground with minimal shade on the equipment. There are low brick walls around the play area which makes for a nice spot to sit and watch your kiddo play. read more

The park has come a long way but more work still needs to be done. There's some trails but what it needs is a baseball and soccer field. Hopefully they get the money to build it soon. The landscape is beautiful and a there is a section dedicated to the military. Fortunately, I can fit in the swing at the playground. read more

What a beautiful park. There are large grassy areas, plenty of parking, a playground, a Senior Center, community center, and access to the awesome Pacific Electric trail. The rooms are really nice in the community center and are available for rental. They reminded me of the conference rooms at the Sheraton in Pasadena. This is a great place to bring your kids, partner, or hangout solo! A part of the park is undeveloped so it'd be great once they're able to work on that. read more

Let's start by saying that I am a huge fan of all the parks in Rancho Cucamonga, it's an amazing place to ride your bike or walk your dog or go for a morning run. Most of the parks interconnect and it's a really neat experience. Central Park on the other hand is not very well utilized and is completely, utterly underdeveloped. I have attended meetings and seminars at the facilities located there and they are quite nice. There is a grass space and places to relax under the trees but it's a little perplexing when you look at it on a map or drive-in from the baseline location. I always find myself asking what's going on over there? Why all the dry underdeveloped area? What a nice view of the mountain, it would be great to sit on the bench under a tree and look up at the scenery but, there's nothing to sit on out in the vast open space that compromises the left two thirds of the park. I understand that completing a park this large would take a significant amount of money, however I also am aware that the park has been in this condition for quite some time, many, many years. It would be amazing if the city could post information on their website or on their Facebook about a timeline to which they have set out to finish the park. Is there even a plan? It would be a shame to watch such a great space go to waste. Who knows if the city will even read this review or if it even matters. I just wanted to share my two cents that while the spaces that have been developed are very nice, there is a long ways to go. read more
