Central park is such a Lovely park and the best in Cucamonga! It has a wonderful community/senior center that have many activities & events going on. I sincerely appreciate them for honoring our Veterans & Military in such an admirable way. The entire park has always been extremely clean with awesome landscape. I appreciate everyone including the nice neighborhood residents/visitors/etc that respect the park & keep it that way. The bike/walking/dog trails are terrific & go miles & miles especially east & west through adjacent cities "LOVE it". The people of Rancho Cucamonga are always pleasant here & on the trails. They do not hesitate to say hello or stop to extend a greeting along the way. *Cucamonga definitely has a piece of my heart. This was my secret place for 7yrs but now the secret is out, therefore this great park undoubtedly deserves my long " overdue" review. read more

This review is of the park only.....not the building facilities: -my son who is 2 loves this park and so do I. You can tell that a lot of thought and care went into the development of this park with the kids in mind. For me what is a big winner at this park is the fact that it does not have sand but instead has that cushy, kinda bouncy, synthetic ground that is great for when kids may trip or slip. There is a small area for the little kids and a nice big play area for older kids. There are a lot of interactive parts about this park, such as the speaker phones - u can be at a distance from someone and speak to them through the speaker and they can hear your voice echo. Love this part for different types of Occasions. They have a big firld for soccer, frisbee, catch, or football. They have a walk/running path around the park. The playground is very well kept and has two sections, one for smaller children and a bigger one for the older kids. There is also a dirt field to the side that is used for RC cars, plans, and drones. I rented the Mesa Courtyard and hall next to it for my sons wedding, the courtyard is a beautiful setting and the hall is big enough to host medium-large wedding. Rane was the event coordinator that i worked with the most and was also there day of, she was very accommodating and helpful. The park itself makes a great backdrop for pictures and everything turned out beautiful. Cons: We handled the setup ourselves, brought in fruit, veggies, dips, etc for appetizers before the food truck was to arrive for dinner. We placed the appetizers along with champagne and beer to chill in the refrigerator, but because the alcohol can only be consumed for 4 hours during the event, they locked the refrigerator. When I asked the crew to unlock it, they seemed annoyed and told me top get everything I needed out then, but we still had 3 hours before the guests would arrive, so I refused. It would help to have two refrigerators so that one can remain unlocked for food prep while the alcohol remains locked up. Also during set up I miscounted tables and asked the crew to take 2 tables out when it should have only been 1. I realized it, got one of the tables back out from the closet they placed them in and when the crew (we're talking late teens, maybe early twenties) came back in, she immediately scolded us for going in the closet. HELLO, there is a right and wrong way to speak with customers. We also did the tear down ourselves. Clean up was easy and really only consisted of us leaving the kitchen as clean as we found it, taking everything we brought with us and making sure all of the trash was in trashcans. The only issue we had was that it we had 130 guests and the trashcans were overflowing and no crew was around to provide extra trash bags, we had to hunt them down. It would be nice to have them available and visible in the kitchen area. Last Con: I forgot about the giant Jenga that my husband made for the bride and groom and that had been signed by guests with personal messages for them, along with a small table to place the Jenga on. When I called the following Monday I was told nothing was left behind. That is just not true, it was left by accident and I'm guessing the young guys in the clean up crew have a new giant Jenga at home. My fault, I should have taken it with me. We had to pay for Rancho Sheriff's to be on site because we served alcohol (beer and wine), but were very chill and respectful (as were the guests). Refund of security deposit was prompt (3 business days). Other than having to hunt down the crew to unlock the fridge, the moment of rudeness from the young crew member and lack of trash bags as the evening progressed, it was a fun, successful time. If you have a choice, I highly recommend working with Rane (pronounced Rainy) I had to deal with a couple of other people on the team throughout planning and while they shall remain nameless, they were not as helpful or pleasant as Rane. read more

Beautiful, clean park. My son really enjoyed playing here. All green areas are very well kept. Playground is big and there are lots of swings. The trails are inviting for a relaxing walk around the park. Definitely an excellent choice (no-cost) choice for an outing with the children. read more

One of my favorite places in Rancho to relax, take a nice around the park, read a good book, or even play Pokemon Go! It's very clean and well kept, grass looks manicured and the amnities at the community center are great. Theres one spot at the park where you can have a picnic at the benches and it has 2 Pokestops close by! I recommend coming here with friends or family just to relax or even by yourself if you need to destress. read more

One of the better parks I've been to and I love to take my dog here. It's in a really nice location and the park is HUGE. It's really nice to go to especially during the day because there's hardly anyone there. My dog loves to run around here and there's plenty of shade. It's also good for kids they have an entire playground. Really nice park! read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. It's not really friendly and I've had mostly bad experiences here. It should really be called a 'senior center', as it's not a 'community center', except for maybe some events. It's not really friendly with all the locked doors and the mean (or fake friendly people). All I can say is that I stay away from the people, as even though many ppl are ''o...k...'', there's a couple of sleezes that'll make my life more (I mean really) miserable. Like they need a big sign on them saying 'nope, don't talk to me'. Really. I mean, what can I expect from it? Oh wait, more than what I get. Nothing's easy to get to - the computers - nope, the desks - nuh uh, the chairs - comfy, yet uncomfy (too big), the bookshelf - not interesting. I've told them time and tide before: make it more of a community center, but they don't listen. Can't use their empty rooms, even when I want to. It's just pathetic and is one of those places that make me not like Rancho. I guess it does deserve one star by being close to the trail and removing some of their grass, but the fact that they have nothing inside that talks about the PE trail (I mean, buy some books and get some signs - it's history!) and has more grass than I'm comfortable being around (I get sneezy/sick around it), ok. Solar panels - check - done well (although sometimes they don't work and won't listen when I say it needs to be fixed, but it did - so I can't really complain about that I guess). Most people volunteer there, so there aren't really jobs there. I mean, some people get jobs, but I think they mess up those people's careers. It's pretty to look at (I guess) and people do 'like' it (I mean, some renovations were good, but some not - like the new name - I bet not what the original founders would've liked - whom I saw at the opening of the place), but I don't think I'll ever be able to look at this place straight and not leave before getting the 'heeby jeebies' from at least one person there. Another reason for the 0 stars: I don't want the nature area nearby developed (unlike a lot of other people who want it, but don't have to put up with the consequences, as they live in another part of Rancho - lucky them). Rancho's getting crowded enough and it'll come out of my pockets for something I don't want and is too close to where I live. No thanks. That place has a purpose of being a fire retardant and I don't want fires. I don't want an ampitheater and we have the Quakes and it's going to be too loud there. Also, it would just block the view of the mountains. There are animals that live in the plants, and adding lights would mess up the ecology - the animals may get harmed or leave and travel to nearby homes and cause a disturbance. Much of Rancho's developed and still getting more developed, so I believe there's something for everyone somewhere if people look hard enough. I guess the PE trail could be helped with more trees, shade (like solar panels), wind breakers (maybe in the form of wind turbines), art/historic signs, etc. I just don't think the most untouched area should be getting developed, but it looks like they're developing there, so I guess those who want it developed won? read more

We just had our wedding in the mesa courtyard on May 27th and it turned out great! Rane was the event coordinator that helped us most throughout our experience and she made it so easy for us since we were setting up all the tables and decorations on our big day! She watched over the ceremony so that no random people walked in and she also checked on us before she left that night. We chose central park because it was the most affordable place to have a wedding in Rancho and it had great photo opportunities. They did have two other weddings going on at the same time in the two large halls next to the courtyard, I didn't really notice the noise level because they kept the doors shut and signs up at all times. We did have to ask a few wandering people to leave the courtyard but that's just people being rude and nosey! They do only allow beer and wine, no hard alcohol, the only down side to having a big event here but thank goodness my family doesn't really drink. Other than that everything was great, we had a worker from the park helping with our bartender and putting chairs away. They did not rush us and were very friendly! read more

This is a great place to do a little light trail running on the weekdays after you get off of work. I usually park at the senior center and head north to the Pacific Electric Trail. It's a 2 mile loop if you head west on the PE trail, head south before you hit the first bridge, head east on Baseline and follow the dirt path north before you hit Milliken Ave. Don't forget to run the the route in the other direction to balance out both sides of your body. read more

Not the best customer service especially for rentals. Good luck calling and getting a hold of someone, you're better off walking in. If you're planning a wedding ask lots of questions! Don't end up with multiple last minute mishaps like I did! Make sure to rent extra time to allow vendors to set up before, and pack up after the event. ( THIS WAS NEVER EXPLAINED TO ME WHEN I ORIGINALLY BOOKED) I had to email my guest 2 weeks before the wedding to let them know that my reception would be starting an hour later than what was sent out in the invite! Also... The security or whoever was in charge of overlooking the event, was extremely rude!!! location itself is very nice! But that's about it. read more

We used Central Park's facilities for my baby shower. The room was spacious, clean and came with the tables and chairs and a sink area. The facility is nice. Employees that were assigned to my event were OK. I felt a lil rushed at the end of the shower. The only downfall was that we were not allowed to decorate as much as we wanted bcuz of their restrictions. The prices were slightly high. But overall we were happy. read more

This an overall review for the night security for the park. Just a heads up to anyone that goes to Central Park late at night (specifically past 10) to watch out for the lazy ass male security guard that sits in his car the entire time and doesn't actually do his job of walking around the park. He likes to make you leave if you're there past 10 whether you're walking around or in your car. This guy sucks compared to the female security guard Kirsten who is fine with people walking around and being in the park to play Pokemon Go/walk their dog/etc. Shes actually really nice and talks to people as she patrols the park on foot. So for anyone who plays Pokemon Go late at night or just goes there for a late night walk just watch out for this guy that can't even properly do his job. They should honestly fire him and get someone who can do the job instead of sitting on their ass doing nothing and then somehow find the balls to talk to you after sitting in his car for some time. read more

Im actually kind of sad. When they told me the price of having a wedding here i was pretty happy because it was pretty cheap. I got responded twice in email, and then the lady just disappeared. No response for 8 days now. I email another person in charge of another area and she tells me the servers have been down that they just went back on the day i emailed her. I find that weird , plus the other lady i was emailing still had not replied. I mean if there servers are working why did i get no response still? Im pretty patient and i understand that people get busy, but letting days go by? Im just trying to see if the day i want is available it isnt that hard to let me know what dates there are in october. After talking to two ladies and still waiting to find out if the day i want is available. Other places i have emailed for venues instantly reply or at least within the next two or three days. I wouldnt recommend this place unless you are into poor customer service, and lack of interest and reaponses. read more

A hidden gem. Had our wedding here last year and it turned out wonderful. This location is very accommodating for different styles of wedding (ours was Indian). Crystal was terrific to work with. The outdoor Mesa courtyard is a beautiful spot for a ceremony and the inside reception hall can truly be transformed. The one drawback is that only beer, wine, and champagne can be served--which may or may not affect some weddings. But otherwise we were so pleased with everything about Central Park. It's a beautiful hidden spot and we highly recommend it for Indian weddings! read more

Not sure what the purpose of having live bodies at the facility are as they never seem to know what's going on from facility rentals (which is extremely unorganized) to the classes offered for children/seniors. The city needs to really make an effort to train their staff (all of them) regarding the basic offerings of the park/rentals. read more

This is my home away from home. I feel safe and comfortable biking at Central Park. I park my car here, and catch the bike trail to enjoy pure serenity. One of the best bike trails I've found in Southern California. I continue to make the 30 minute drive out here, even after moving from Rancho Cucamonga last year. I have to admit, when I first came to this park and speaking with the staff to host my baby shower at their facility, I was very impressed, but after hosting my shower at one of the venue's in the facility, I was very displeased. I paid for a cater to cater the food, and on that day the facility apparently was having some type of electrical problems with the power and for that reason I was unable to serve warm food to my guest. The party right next door was also complaining about the same problem. I have contacted this facility and spoke to 2 different people, and also left a message for the coordinator, and still have yet to be contacted. This has been close to a month that I have been waiting to at least be acknowledged. I feel as if I was totally disregarded. It's very unfortunate that I had to deal with such an issue. I definitely will think twice about recommending this venue. read more

I called the RC park to help me with registration. The lady name Veronica treated to me very unfair, rude and has no consideration to the resident customer. When I called she insisted to release the information including my birthday and my family member's birthday, I informed her I entered the birthdate of my whole family online 2 times today, the reason I called her is her web site is not working when I register online, so need help from her, she insisted rudely to tell her again so I did tell my birthday and my kid birthday to her and I said my other family members are not registering right now and no need to release their birthday now since I entered all birthday while I registered them online. She held the phone for 7 min without getting my permission and I waited , when she returned she stated that " ok , I removed your remaining family member off the list now and you cannot register via the phone any more. You have to come to register your child class. What a rude, unpolite and I feel like is she really a human?? She should get fire from her current job which is such a joke for treating the person like this. Go to hell rude lady. read more
