If you really enjoy a good down and dirty local style hamburger, then this is the place for you. The burger was really good, fries were awesome but the only ding I can put on it is the wait time that it took in the drive line. If you are in the area, do yourself a solid and try this joint out. Went to Central Park today with the teenagers. We got 4 chili dogs, mozzarella sticks, 2 fries, onion rings, a chicken sandwich and two large sodas. $38. A little more than I thought it would be but it was so good. They got our order perfect and the lady that took our order was so sweet. read more

I heard that CP was really good so I popped by. The fries were decent, just like Rally's or Checkers. The burger was awful, absolutely awful. It was like an old Sonic burger. I even bit down into something hard in the patty. Poor quality meat at least on this day. I was second in line and waited about 15 minutes. I'm glad I got this over with when I was alone. Kinda surprised this place is rated so high. It's about as bad as cook-out. We tried a few burgers, tots, mozzarella sticks and nuggets. Burgers were a good thickness but flavor wasn't really there. I got bacon on my burger and it was very much not like bacon. Neither by taste nor appearance. Tots were fine. No real comment to make on them. The mozzarella sticks are the same crap you get at arby's. Meaning the breading is plain and not how good mozzarella sticks are done. The ones with Italian breading have flavor and not just meh. I mean even sonic does it correct. Nuggets were just deep fried and oozing oil. Not sure about others but excess oil makes me nauseous. The plain nuggets from Burger King have a nice oven cooked appearance and taste to them, but idk how they are cooked. We ordered seasoned fries but didnt recieve them as I ordered to have this delivered. Not a fan. Again surprised the amount of people that enjoy this place. I wanted to make this a one star review but Central Park -used- to be great. I pulled up to the window and sat there for nearly a full five minutes before Brandy (based on the name from my receipt) finished filling out whatever paper she was working on and opened the window for the first time with no apology or acknowledgement. When I finally got my food it had totally cooled off and was pretty gross. I might give them one more shot but that experience sucked. read more

Stopped here for dinner one day and it was good. My son & boyfriend both got their triple burger combo and I got the bacon cheese burger combo. We also got the fried puckles. They really liked the burgers and said they were cooked perfectly. My bacon cheeseburger was good as well, however they use the circle bacon which is kind of weird to me. The seasoned fries are good, but are served out of Styrofoam cups? Did not understand why they do that when paper is so much better, and better for the environment as well. The fried pickles were really good (kind of a weakness for me.. lol) and they came with a ranch sauce for dipping. For all 3 meals it was about 30. read more

Central Park Double Drive Thru Restaurant is located on Western Ave next to KFC. The entrance is small and is easy to miss, so be careful. Growing up in Knoxville, Central Park USA had several restaurants spread out all over the area. Now this is one of the few left. Quick, inexpensive and friendly staff it is locally owned and operated. Central Park is a great little gem nesseled in North Knoxville right off interstate 275. The Big Bubba Burger and seasoned fries combo is what I had. Two thick juicy patties on a white bread bun, with all the tops. The toppings were fresh and the onion was especially large and crisp. The burger was a delicious mouthful with an excellent side. The seasoned fries where a delightful change from the usual fast food fry selection. If you're in the mood for fast food but not the normal rigmarole, give Central Park a chance. I'm confident you'll be satisfied. read more

I was craving mozz sticks, and decided to try ordering this place on grub hub for the first time today. I ended up getting a burger, fries, lemonade, tots, and mozz sticks to hit the $10 minimum. I am so pleased with my order. The fries are super good! Not too salty like so many other places around here. The lemonade is very strong, but that's wonderful, because adding water makes it perfect and go twice as far. The burger was tasty and the tots were tots. The mozzarella sticks I was craving? Mmm. Called the store for a refund and was told they couldn't give it over the phone and that I'd have to go out of my way back to the store again. I love the taste of the food and the speed of the service. The burgers and fries are a little on the oily side, but that gives it the flavor that will bring you back. Also the prices are very good when compared to their competitors. Support this locally owned and operated restaurant and maybe they will open more locations again here in Knoxville and surrounding counties. read more

I have ordered food here a couple of times lately. I was shocked. It was really good! I have had a burger and a hot dog and both were delicious. Best hot dog I have had in years. The food was so cheap, I just knew it couldn't be much. I sure was pleasantly surprised. I also tried 6 chicken tenders for one dollar and something just to see if they were good, and they were. I have loved Central Park for the past 20 something years. They have the best fast food burgers and fries, period! Their chicken and hotdogs are good too. Service is always excellent. Stopped by on Sunday night 09/11/16 around 8 for some food and this salty ass mixed or black chick left me sitting at the drive through for 5+ minutes after I said hello multiple times and then when she finally gets on there was no hey how may I help u Or anything remotely polite I was instead greeted with a what do you want after stating part of my order she got off the intercom and then proceeded not to respond to my hello at the intercom and when I finally got to the window I informed her maybe she shouldn't be in drive thru if she's having a bad day and was gonna act like that she said excuse me told me bye and slammed the window in my face I also work fast food and her behavior was completely unacceptable and in my opinion can't be justified read more

If I could give no stars, I would. First of all, sat in line at the menu/speaker for well over 5 minutes waiting for someone to take my order. Finally had to yell "hello" into the speaker to get someones attention to take my order. Got to the window to pay and get my food. They messed up my order, not once, but TWICE!!!
