We got lucky that nothing was taken, just a bummer to have to replace a window after doing something wholesome like taking our dog to a nature reserve. Otherwise this place is lovely. The trails are well maintained, the bike lanes are in good shape and clearly marked, and the reserve is clean. I love to take the long way around across the high levee because there is a little creek that runs by and it's just so pleasant to listen to as you walk.

We went to do my son's senior picture session with a local photographer. The session was in mid December and the scenery was just breathtaking! It was the perfect setting, close to home. There were other people out doing photo sessions in the park, too. There is a small parking lot as well as a small play area. Check it out.

The park looks great for pictures with the bridges and water behind you. Parking is the only problem. Small lot, and the park sits inside a neighborhood. Drive slow when looking for a spot. Good place to relax, walk, or take photos. I'll come back again.

It does have benches for parents to sit on and relax on the shaded area to watch your kiddos play. It also features swings and a spinning saucer on the side. Mahany has a soccer field nearby the softball field and there's a nice library too. I went early for softball one Friday night to be warmly greeted with an event with tents in the parking lot. It's nice that this park does pop up things like this to support local businesses. If you can, check out Mahany Park. It's a nice one.

We opted for the $35 wristband, which was well worth it, he got to go on several different rides and hit the big slide multiple times.They had plenty of carnival games, vendors and food trucks. When it came time to grab a bite, my son picked Bubble Hive food truck. He got a waffle cone with vanilla ice cream and chocolate that was so big that we all ended up sharing it. Since it was Mother's Day, the beer garden and live music were a nice touch. They were serving mimosas, so my husband and I both grabbed one, since I was in the mood for something refreshing instead of beer. It was starting to get pretty hot out, so we only stayed for a couple of hours, but it was a fun outing and my son had a great time.

The only things in this park is they Don't have restroom. There is water fountain by the basketball court. The parking is street parking. Just be careful when walkout of the car with kids since people drive pretty fast in this area. One thing when walking around I notice lots of dog poops everywhere. Just watch where u step.
