I called to ask about replacing the printhead on my Epson inkjet. The person answering the phone was more helpful than I could have ever anticipated. For the type of printer I have and the amount of use it gets, he frankly said it would cost more to repair than to replace. He educated me on several points so when I DO get a replacement, I can make an informed choice. He wasn't going to make a dime on this, but he was extraordinarily helpful and friendly, and generous with his time. My HP Envy Inspire 7200e series printer is less than a year old, but I had no luck getting hold of HP for assistance when I started having problems with the printer. After tests showed the ink levels were fine, I spent hours trying to fix various problems. Finally, I gave up and went to Central Printer Resources. George ran the same tests, but by that point, all that came out were blank pages. He showed me how to test the ink cartridges by hand. Both were empty. Replaced both cartridges. (Their ink prices are excellent!) The new cartridges, along with the work I had done on the printer before taking it in, fixed my printer problems. Buy your printer ink here! They have incredible prices compared to the big box office supply store down the road. Call ahead to make sure they have your exact printer ink replacement. I also got a great price on a ream of paper here. The customer service was excellent. It's also nice to support a local business. The location is super convenient on Ramon just east of the airport south entrance. I just printed my first paper after installing the new ink. I must have paid for that printer 15x over with the ink it made me buy!! They couldn't repair it as it is not designed to be repaired .. So I bought a pre owned Brother laser printer for about what I would pay for another ink guzzling Epson.. Love this printer hooked right up to my computers and off we go.. I would give these guys zero stars if possible. They completely ripped me off. Charged me $40 and did absolutely NOTHING to the printer. All they did was run the built in printer head cleaning program. These are some of the most dishonest people I have ever dealt with here in Palm Springs. Looking for replacement ink cartridges for a couple of printers. This business has an assortment of ink cartridges as an adjunct to their prime business of providing other computer and typewriter services. As a result, the replacements I wanted could be ordered and be available the following day. Turned out Walmart and Staples were nearby and had the cartridges needed readily available, and because of their ability to buy in larger quantities, the cost was also lower. read more

I have been waiting to write this review for the past several months, but I waited to see how it would be resolved. My Brothers multifunction printer was under warranty and top feeder would continuously jam. Brothers directed me to CPR for factory service. With work order in hand, I drop off the printer in January 2014. After two months, I spoke to Jeff and he explained they were waiting for parts. I really needed the printer, so I picked it up with understanding the store would call me when the parts came in. For two additional months, I periodically called them inquiring about the parts. Then in late May 2014, Jeff returned my call and informed me that parts came in, but were then returned to Brothers. He also mentioned that he could not reorder the parts since the work order had been closed (motherf**ker). I immediate called Brothers and explained to them. The order was still open and they provided me with instruction on how store could reorder parts online. Soon after, I faxed Jeff a copy of invoice and the instruction. Few days later, I spoke to Jeff and learned he still had not order the parts! But he said he would. Then suddenly, Jeff, kept in contact with me; that parts were order, that it arrived, and that printer was repaired. Perhaps this was learning process for the staff (I hope so). read more

I just came back from CPR, and those ppl there are really Stupid and Slow. They charge me $15 for somewhat check my printer. To fine the problem with it, it would take them the good part of the day just to download the disk that I have and told them I would bring it in, and to fix the parts I'm needing. They Did Not want to work on the printer and just tried to get me to Buy a New one from them. Don't Go there unless you want to loss $15 and get talked to slowly. It's a waste of time to go there.
