For the type of printer I have and the amount of use it gets, he frankly said it would cost more to repair than to replace. He educated me on several points so when I DO get a replacement, I can make an informed choice. He wasn't going to make a dime on this, but he was extraordinarily helpful and friendly, and generous with his time.
