I have to begin with I hate going to mechanics I always feel like I'm going to be cheated and robbed. Well that has all changed for me today!!! I recently found an honest and good mechanic shop Called Central Valley Auto repair. Mr. Muhammad is a very nice man and made me feel so relaxed and comfortable. I have been hearing and feeling a grinding noise on the right side of my Ford explorer truck for a while. I kept postponing to get it fixed due to not knowing any shops i felt i could trust. I started looking online for the best shops near me. I came across Central Valley Auto Repair. I took my car there and spoke with Mr. Muhammad, he said I would have to leave the truck and he will inspect and give me a call. He call me back shortly with a great quote for the parts and labor so told him to proceed with the repairs. A few minutes later he called me again and stated there was more issues that needed to be addressed with the repairs. The quote for the additional parts and labor was also great and fair. When I went to pick up the truck Mr. Muhammad informed me the truck was repaired and better than when I brought it in and if anything is wrong with his work to bring it back and he will fix it. As I drove the car home I kept thinking to myself this car is riding amazing feels like it was new. Before I reached home I got another call from Mr. Muhammad asking how was the car riding. Now that's what I call customer service. I told him I'm not taking my truck anywhere else for repairs. Central Valley Auto Repair has a customer for life! Mr. Muhammad is the Best!!! read more

Second time I needed an inspection on my vehicle and they came through with fast and efficient service.

The mechanics are not qualified to fix cars. They messed up my brakes. As a result I almost had an accident.The car wouldnt stop.

I took my car for oil change and air suspension pump replacement. The next day after leaving the shop something told me to check the oil dip stick and the oil was black and low they claimed they changed it but never did so I took my car to another shop and they said it was not serviced for oil change . They also charge me $975 for a part that cost $550 from the dealership they claimed they was robbed from where they order it and also on my receipt they had " repair air suspension pump " they claimed they made a error and it was replacement but I got it checked out somewhere else to find out it was a lie read more

Came in last week for a flat tire from a stupid pot hole on the belt pkway (how frustrating.) Tony was more than accommodating and discussed cheaper options with me. After a brief conversation, he said he'd order the tire and it would be there within 20-30 minutes. It was under $200 I was out of there under an hour and I was more than satisfied. My parents come here all the time for car repairs or anything so I'm glad they recommended this place for me. read more

Avoid, avoid, AVOID! We made an appointment for an insurance photo inspection for Saturday morning at 11 AM with Tony over the phone. After arriving on time, Tony directed me to move my car just outside of the auto bay. He got in a minivan to move it out of the way and we didn't see him again. We waited a few minutes when a very brusque employee asked how he could help us. I informed him that we had an appointment at 11 AM. He replied that they don't start photo inspections until 11:30 AM. I asked to speak with Tony, but he wasn't there. This employee, who had a serious power trip, told us that I had to move my car so that he could help "paying customers" first and that we'd have to wait until 11:30. No thank you. We drove away and found another Carco dealer that helped us immediately. Without an appointment. And treated us with respect. There is no way I would return here for any auto work and I strongly advise you against going here. Such awful customer service, I was appalled. They should be ashamed of themselves. read more

This is the former LT Automotive that used to be across the street. They offer great service at reasonable prices. I've been taking my vehicles here for years. Tony, the owner always discusses every repair your vehicle needs and offers options for completing the work according to your budget. All the mechanics that work here are equally professional. I took my car to Central Valley Auto Repair because the heat coming out of the vents was not hot. Maaz took a quick look under the hood and saw that the coolant tank was empty. He fixed the issue efficiently and for a very fair price. I wouldn't hesitate to come here again if I run into anymore issues in the future! read more

tony is very friendly & accomodating but since his son is in training & he doesn't look over his shoulder like he should, he totally screwed up my car! he simply had to change the thermostat. after 2 days of runaround i finally got my car back on saturday night it was overheating. i called tony & he said it was 'normal' since he had to hose it down. everything about it spelled overheating!so i had no car sunday. the gauge was on hot & i wasn't about to drive it. monday morning i took it to another mechanic who pointed out a hole on the housing & under pressure the antifreeze came spitting out. he said housings crack when the thermostate isn't put in exactly right & straight & tightening the bolts causes the housing to crack. i am sure,tho not certain, he had his son work on it. the manager john confirmed that without actually saying that. now the hard part-the housing had to be ordered only through the dealer & would take 3-5 days to get. i rented a car for 1 day when tony called & said the car was done....who knows what the real truth was;i was happy to have it done. i didn't pursue a return of my $$ but i would encourage anyone considering taking their car there to ask john only to work on it.tony is all over the place & i don't trust him to do the right thing...definetely not his son!!! actually i would save myself a lot of guess work & just go somewhere else!! read more
