You can actually talk to the employees and get factual information, not B.S! They also do auto repair/maintenace and decided to give them a shot today. I had a wheel alignment & wheel balancing done. They got it right the first time & the cost was extremely reasonable. Got called at 1:30 pm saying my car was ready it's $361 and they close by 2 pm. I stay in Brooklyn. I've spent thousands on my last two cars here and never got a call like that. Then when I said I have to pay on the phone and the car has to be picked up or left to be picked up because of the LATE call and the fact I have heart problems as well as a blood disorder and NO ONE TO HELP with an 8 am echocardiogram I was told to hold on, then another woman comes on the phone saying "hello yes" as if she didn't know what I was on the phone for and when I said I need to pay for my car so it can be picked up she said "oh the white bmw, no" I said "what I can't pay for my car and it be left for me to pick up?" she said "no" I asked to speak to Roberto and was denied and told "I'm his wife" as if that means she can keep my car hostage and deny me from paying for it so I can make my appointments. Never mind the fact I lost a new job with this same phone game 3 days prior for issues with my car that were supposed to be fixed previously. Forced to sleep in my car until I could get it to this shop that informs me the last half hour of closing that my car was fixed, when in all previous times I was called and told ahead of time that my car would been done so I would have time to pick it up. Roberto's wife is rude, never was there an issue with me paying on the phone at ANY SHOP including this one. The mechanics and Roberto is polite, yet his wife is the reason I filed complaints with DCA, 311 and would have with the Better Business Bureau if they had them listed in their database. If I have to notify the police ahead of time to get my vehicle that is what will be done since I was DENIED paying for it. NEVER will I spend another dollar at this establishment again. read more

Promised the owner I would write a review months ago -- getting to it now. Excellent service from the entire staff. Went early on a Saturday morning and waited for roughly 40 minutes to have my dented rim fixed. The owner walked me through the shop, showed me how my rim would be fixed and showed the before and after results. Only downside: The staff referred me to the nearby deli which served me halal bacon - might have been pigeon meat. After the winter we just had in NYC, you would expect road conditions to be similar to that of the moon: full of craters and uneven terrain. Even the most experienced drivers would find it difficult to avoid all the potholes, especially the ones that swallow you whole and spit you back out with bent wheels. This was the scenario I found myself in, after encountering a road hazard that popped the sidewall of my tire. Initially after the incident, I had the tire replaced and drove on. But as the miles rolled on, I started to feel a vibration coming from that wheel. I had the entire car checked out and the diagnosis came back as a barely visible bent wheel; just enough to not see normally, but enough to cause discomfort while driving at highway speeds. Of course, an OEM wheel would cost $500+ to replace... Enter "Fix My Rim"... I found them after a Google search, and then a Yelp search... The prices seemed reasonable for a repair, and there were plenty of other satisfied customers. I arrived at their location in the middle of the morning, and it happened to be a quiet day for them. Their entrance is easy to find with plenty of signs showing you where to park. I was greeted by the staff and told them my issue, whereupon they went to work to remove the offending wheel and get it ready to be worked on. They confirmed the price to repair the wheel and also informed me that it would be finished within 45 minutes, which I was glad to hear. While I was waiting, I was also kept updated of the process of the work; when they found the bends in the wheel, when they had taken the bends out, and when they had finished the work and prior to re-mounting the tire. Complete transparency throughout the entire process. I was also given a tour of their shop space, which includes the machining area, a paint/finish area, and a storage area for all the wheels that they work on. It was also mentioned to me that they had a discount for checking in on Yelp, so if you're reading this, be sure to pull up their location on your mobile app so you can get the discount too!! Excellent service from the staff as well, they even went out into the street as I was leaving to direct traffic to ensure that I wouldn't receive any surprises while leaving! This is the second job I brought to Papo. His work and service is always top notch. First time I brought in a cracked wheel (BMW Style 124). These are notorious from cracking with age and papo welded it up and buffed her out like new. This time I brought in a whole set of BMW Style 119s that I got from craigslist. These rims were crap when I got them. They were curbed to hell, and someone did a nasty wheel repair job that went to crap as well. Papo stripped these suckers down to bare metal, welded the curb rash, trued and powder coated them back to factory spec silver. They look amazing! Not only that, I shipped a set of Conti DWS 06s to him and he mounted, balanced, and installed them on my car for free. I purchased a remanufactured rim from this rim dealer in Oceanside after driving with a spare for a few weeks. I brought it over to this rim shop in Freeport and waited a week to find out that they wouldn't be able to straighten or powder coat the wheel. Brought it to fix my rim and it was ready the next day. Had problems with my brakes with some kind of rattling noise in the rear end. Until I took it to Northeast Auto Clinic but don't get it mixed up with the auto repair across the street. Two different places but you cannot make a mistake. Northeast can fix the problem not hide the problem. This was 2 weeks before the holidays and never had a problem. I took this car to the dealership on Jamaica and will never take it there anymore. The place there was so dirty even the bathroom smelled. But Northeast was like day and night. Very clean and it looked like Robert knew everything that was going on in his repair shop. I have told everyone that I know about this place. I recently went there to have my bent wheel fixed. While they fixed the wheel fine, they also severely scratched the face of my wheel! Mind you, my wheels are almost brand new and have no scratches on them what so ever. Papo (the owner) claimed that this is how they got the wheel, which was absurd. Stay away from them. I would never go back there again. These guys are popular because they have ads everywhere and know how to talk to people, but making the mistake of not properly securing the face of the wheel and let it run on the ground while you bang the dent out is absolutely unnaceptable. NYC Pot holes! OMG they will mess your car up!!!! Found this place on Yelp. This is a little spot off Springfield Blvd. They fix Rims. I have a Nissan Altima 2015. The lady in the office is nice and helpful. They have a bunch of guys who take off the tires and let you know what you need done to fix what NYC POTHOLES do to YOUR CAR! We made it in and they were on lunch but once they returned they were able to take a look at the damage. We decided to leave the tire and rim since they were kinda busy on a Saturday morning. There were 2 guys that really helped out. They were the ones removing the tires off the cars there. Once Tuesday came around they sure did call to pick it up. Once I got the rim it was BRAND NEW. They guys then proceeded to place it back onto my car. They did a great job. When i was there i did get to see the owner "Papo". He was helping out a guess a regular customer.
