Then when I show up they have the wrong glass due their online questions. The manger acted like I was wasting his time. So, we call Presby Auto Glass. They couldn't have been any nicer and went above and beyond to help us get our replacement windshield. Their price was much better than Safelite. More importantly they treated us like a valued customer. I had an appointment immediately. I dropped off the car and a few short hours later the replacement was complete. The job was done neatly and perfectly. I encourage everyone to visit the smaller local businesses. They go that extra mile with personal service and about making their customers happy. I had a crack that happened and spread Saturday afternoon and by Sunday it was fixed very well by Ian. He told me that due to the climate and moisture it wouldn't be a perfect job and that makes sense as it was snowing with cold temps. He was very responsive via phone and on a Sunday helped to schedule me in and have it taken care of. I had most places that would push me out a couple of days and maybe have me get a new windshield. The crack was bullseye crack a little smaller than a dime and spread about 8 inches. The quoted price was very fair and much less than the big shops. i scheduled a 930AM drop off for my 2011 mini cooper clubman. scheduled ~4 days in advance. i…read moredropped my car off at 9am. front desk mentioned it should be ready around 5 (their hours show they close at 5pm). came by around 430 and car is not ready. i asked if its approx 2 hours? my car had not even entered the bay to be worked on yet.... why ask me to drop off at 930 then ?! i have a dog and kids and could have used the car to tow everyone around during this heat wave. it is now 7pm and im sitting in the waiting room while i pay for sitters. im sorry but this is unprofessional to say the absolute least. i feel as though because i am a woman i was not prioritized despite an appointment days in advance. first and absolute last time i repair here.
