I was recommended by a friend to take the IV course. It can be very intimidating, but with Kevin's knowledge he was able to make me feel comfortable throughout the whole course. I paid for my ACLS and BLS classes upfront but was not able to reschedule due to their policy of only rescheduling once prior- which I already paid a rescheduling fee of $55 for. I needed to take my mom to a Dr's appt to get her stitches out but they were not able to accommodate my request even though I was more than happy to pay another $55. Under normal circumstances- I would of been happy to go to class because they do a good job of teaching it- I am a RN and have been going to Central Valley since 2017 but I will not being taking any ACLS or BLS renewals from them anymore due to their rescheduling policy read more

I needed to update my NRP while on medical leave. Kevin's class was informative and thorough. I couldn't get my card due to the medical leave. I tried for hours to get it resolve to no avail. Although the ACLS recertification instructor was rather jolly and attempted to interject anecdotal tails to perhaps allay anxiety, his lack of focus on the task at hand and absence of actual scenario practice was a great disappointment for me. I would not endorse an open-book style final examination appraisal nor a spoon-fed type delivery of test answers such that all participants are guaranteed to pass irrespective of skill-set or knowledge-base. read more

Love this place!!! Owners are awesome and engaging. Staff are kind and sweet. The classes are not boring and dragged on. Rather, focus is built on what you know and don't. I did not know what to expect coming into this IVBW class at all. But I know I came out with the confidence and skill set to start IVs and do blood withdrawals! So I waited till the last minute to get my ACLS recertification but they got me in on short notice. Paying online was easy and convenient. The class was informative and Kevin was doing a great job with the first timers. Having been other places for my certification, they can confuse people easily by deviating from what's important. Just renewed my PALS here and couldn't be happier with the experience. They keep the class size very small, the equipment is all clean and new, and the course material is covered at YOUR pace. Kevin, the instructor, is knowledgeable in his field, open to questions, and keeps the atmosphere relaxed. Came in and the lady at the front desk was very nice, went along with all my dumb cheesy jokes and the staff there works together and makes you as comfortable as one could be getting stabbed and bleeding out. There aren't enough kind things I could say about this place! I enrolled for the IV Therapy/ Blood Withdrawal 3 day course for LVNs. I came into this course terrified of needles (childhood fear), I doubted myself and lacked confidence. By day 3 (and after a few missed veins lol) I left feeling more confident and believing in myself! Kevin as an instructor was a rock star ! Very down to earth and approachable. It's hard to find instructors who are chill, easy going and easy to approach. Kevin and Ms. Paat were all of these things! They really took the time to explain exactly how to perform the skill and they had such patience with us. Being a new nurse, I was a little intimidated being around more tenured LVNs, but Kevin and Ms. paat made everyone feel at ease and I actually enjoyed learning the material. Learning was actually fun! I would highly recommend this business to anyone looking to further their knowledge and skill set! They offer a variety of courses !!
