On 01/27/2026, I had to use American Ambulance, and I feel it's really important to share my experience with the community. From the moment the crew arrived, I was treated with genuine kindness, empathy, and compassion. Medical emergencies are already overwhelming and scary, but the EMTs made me feel safe, heard, and respected every step of the way. They didn't rush me, dismiss my concerns, or treat me like just another call -- they treated me like a person. They took the time to explain what they were doing, checked in with me emotionally as well as physically, and spoke to me with calm reassurance that truly made a difference during a very vulnerable moment. Their professionalism was outstanding, but what stood out most was their humanity. I'm incredibly grateful for the care I received that day. Experiences like this remind you how impactful compassionate healthcare providers are, especially in moments when you need it most.
