James told me the work was about 2 weeks out and right on time, we scheduled the job. Right on time, James and his crew showed up as scheduled and went right to work. His brother, fondly known as "Peaches" arrived the same day and started drilling the new dry wells. My 73 year-old mom, widowed and terrified of COVID, called me this morning to let me know that her AC had gone out during the night. Knowing that my grandfather had utilized Henderson Brothers during his life (which, considering he passed 15 years ago from complications due to Alzheimer's, would have been at least 25 years ago), my mom reached out to them. They took into account the fact that my mom is elderly, at high-risk, and didn't have the ability to easily stay elsewhere as her house baked in the heat. They had a tech out within 4 hours, and had the issue resolved less than 2 hours after that. It was an uncomfortably hot day for mom, but it could have been so much worse. Where I live, getting an HVAC tech out at this time of year is normally a 4-6 week wait. I know they must be insanely busy as well, but I'm so grateful to Henderson Brothers for actually caring enough to consider the circumstances (instead of robotically quoting "normal" lead times), and taking care of an elderly community member in need with few viable options at her disposal.
