Then, we discovered that the propane wasn't being filled by them so that is why it wouldn't light. After about 2 months of calling them asking for the propane to be filled, they finally sent someone out and filled it. Next, they claimed they couldn't inspect the fireplace without a pressure test of the line. Another 2 months of them no-showing for multiple appointments, they finally came in October and completed the pressure testing and inspection of the fireplace. Afterwards, I was told I needed a part which would be in the next week. After five weeks of not hearing anything, I called them. They told me that they have no record of ever coming out to my house and that they would have to come and do the same thing again. Then, when I told them that they had already been to my house for the service appointment, they told me that they have no record of me being a customer. They then wanted to charge me another insane amount to come out again. I'm finally just done and going to call somewhere else. Apparently these people don't want the business.

The manager trued to give me a story about no communication but I told her that was her job and it wasn't right from the second time they came out. You cannot sue in PA for this which is upsetting because they are getting away with this kind of stuff. I have read others were treated the same. A couple days later, my fan in the heat pump stopped working. He came over the same day, did some tests, left came back with a manual for the unit, which he gave me, did some more tests and spoke with his parts distributor and then ordered some parts. He came back the next day, did some more tests and determined it was the motor. He replaced the motor and only charged me the labor to replace the motor plus the part. He then gave me more tips on to maintain the system. Joe is smart, fair, and very good at what he does. I'll be sure to call him again if I ever need anything else. Great guy and great business.

Richard was very knowledgeable and friendly, he gave me a fair estimate, did an incredible job in two days, as promised, just in time for my roofers to come in and install a new metal roof. At the start of this summer, Richard serviced my house central air conditioner, inspected the compressor, cleaned the outside heat exchanger, changed the filters, and gave me a clear explanation on what he found. Shoddy, incomplete work; dangerous electrical wiring, no quality assurance, would not return calls…read more We purchased a custom built, off-grid cabin from Wunderbar Structures; they sub-contracted Elk Creek Solar to wire the cabin for solar (DC) power and generator (AC) power. When the cabin was delivered, we found: o There was no input connection for the DC power; the AC input was the incorrect type plug, and was dangerously loose - all of the electrical was unusable. o They installed AC ceiling fans with lights on a DC circuit; the fans literally burned out when power was connected. o About 1/3 of the DC plugs inside the cabin did not work. o The main fuse box was just screwed onto an interior wall and not inset. o The water pump for the sink was not installed (I found it in a box under the sink). Obviously, NONE of the electric had been tested before the cabin was delivered. When I contacted Wunderbar about the issues, they told me to call Elk Creek directly. I called and spoke to John Fisher briefly; he told me he would call me right back, but never did. It took almost 2 months to get Elk Creek to come to the property to complete the work and fix the problems. When John finally came to the cabin, he told me he'd already ordered replacement fans, but they had not arrived before his visit. Apparently he was aware that incorrect fans were initially installed, but ignored that and used incompatible fans anyway. John assured me he'd get replacements and hire a local contractor to install them within about a month. It's now been over 6 weeks, and now I'm told they're unable to find any replacements as they are back-ordered. They are not able to give me any estimate when they'll be available. (I was able to find dozens of alternatives available in stores or on the internet with a simple search in less than 5 minutes.) Do yourself a favor - find a different company...
