STAY AWAY from Triangle! Absolute worst business I have ever dealt with. Emergency service and sold me a complete new HVAC and hasn't worked correctly since the install. Been out to the house 7 times after initial install and still not right. Installers ran thru my flowerbed and broke some solar lights a reflector and an azalea bush scratched my new washer and dryer and did a rush install that looked like a kid did it. It has been a nightmare since the start and it was really expensive. The manager trued to give me a story about no communication but I told her that was her job and it wasn't right from the second time they came out. You cannot sue in PA for this which is upsetting because they are getting away with this kind of stuff. I have read others were treated the same. It doesn't get worse than this company they attempted to sue me for finished work that they never completed. We failed inspection. They lied under oath. They charged us over six times what are other person tried to charge us. We will be reporting them to consumer protection and bringing a trial against them. I've never dealt with a worst company in my life you had along a company that actively lies under oath. As you can see, their completed work wasn't completed according to code inspection. they didn't get a permit until after they finished the work and then tried to blame me for not getting a permit when it was their job then they put an invoice for the materials that they were supposed to cover then blamed me then I didn't pay for the materials. Three strikes for Triangle. First experience several years ago was replacing our hot water heater. Triangle was certainly not the least expensive option but they were quick to respond. Unfortunately, it required several return calls to get the system functioning. Not long after, our HVAC system needed to be replaced, we once again paid a high price for the system. A few hours after installation, the heater stopped working. One of the parts was defective and we were without heat for the Xmas holidays for more than a week and had to cancel family plans due to extreme cold. This spring our system humidifier was replaced by Triangle. Two months later the unit disconnected due to shoddy installation and flooded our basement while ruining our carpet. Triangle attempted to clean the carpet but some of the stains are permanent. More than 2 and half months after the incident, Triangle has refused to replace the carpeting. We should have learned out lessons, after spending more than $30,000 with Triangle this is "service" we get. read more

I contacted Triangle and had an appointment for Friday. They couldn't give me a time so I took off work only to get a call that they weren't coming till Monday. I took odd Monday thinking someone was coming to fix my valve on my furnace. A guy shows up, takes some pictures, talks to a guy on the phone goes to his truck and gives me a quote to fix it for $3735.34. Total scam!!! They weren't even prepared to do the work that day. I don't know if they thought because I was a woman or what that I would pay that much. I think he thought I was stupid. Today I finally got it fixed and the total charge was $169.92. I called triangle and scheduled them to do some plumbing. I told them on the phone exactly what I wanted done. The salesman shows up, apparently, they never do work on the first visit. Of course, he thinks the problem is something different and much more expensive, think $800 verses $5000. Salesman states I should schedule soon, they are very busy. When I was upset about the price, oh they do financing. I spent $90 for this "evaluation ." I will be hiring someone else to do this work, that will work on the first visit and do what is asked. Also didn't show up when they were scheduled, which screwed up my daughter's second shift work schedule. read more

I would give them negative stars I would. I hired them to replace a shower. First it took them three months to "complete" the job. They pulled the exiting shower surround and did the demo in about a day at the beginning of May. They then didn't show up to "finish" the shower installation for three months, leaving me with only one functional shower. When they say it was complete the faucet was not anchored to the wall behind so when you try to turn on the water the whole fixture moves and water leaks behind and down the wall. They also left a 3" gap the whole way around the shower. Their excuse is they don't do finish work. All this I paid $8000 for, so buyer beware. They will take advantage of you if you don't look at the fine print. They have very deceptive business practices. read more

I had Triangle replace my hot water heater because they were able to do the job the soonest. With that, they gave me 2 HVAC inspections for free. When the service person, Ryan Peters, came to do my inspection, I was told I had a freon leak somewhere, my unit was freezing up, it was running at 30% efficiency, and I would need a whole new A/C unit and furnace for the cost of $20K. He told me there was no reason to fix it because it was 17 years old and it would be extremely expensive to find the leak. When I called later to ask for that info. so I could get a second opinion, the story changed to, "you MIGHT have a leak", and they were reluctant to give me any of the information he told me the day prior. I was having no issues with my A/C, so I hired another HVAC professional with extensive experience and he came and told me he just needed to add a little freon for a minimal expense and I'd be all good. Hired them to install minisplits. Very responsive and super nice. All of the techs were very friendly and customer service-oriented. The quality of their work seems to be ok. Dustin W was the main installer and he was very conscientious and cared about the quality of his work. He frequently check with me at various stages to make sure what he was doing was consistent with my expectations in terms of locating wiring, pipes, etc. I will say that one of the other guys installed a couple of the condensation drains and cut them too close to the siding so they left big ugly stains on the siding, but when I complained, they came back and extended the drains to eliminate that problem. In another place the condensation was dripping where it would cause the deck joist to rot (but I relocated that myself). Scheduling follow-up maintenance has been easy. Unfortunately Triangle was one of the few who responded to my requests for quotes so I don't have many comparisons but they seem to be sort of expensive. read more

Predators? Watch out for the ELDERLY! Triangle arrived to look at a heating issue and gave false information about the problem and then tried to make me sign for a $1,500 estimate. Furnace only cost ~$3,000. My kids tell me to beware of scammers and predators that do this sort of thing and something smelled fishy, so I decided to decline the work and risk paying for another company to assess the repair. The new guy charged me only $150 dollars for the entire repair (a problem completely different than what Triangle quoted and more complicated to boot). My suspicion or guess is Triangle would have charged me the $1,500 for the false problem they fed me, then while working on that, they would have "discovered" another problem (the real problem) so they could charge another $1,500+ to fix. After $3,000+ invested, I guess they'd hope I'd be innocently pleased my heat was back on and I would join the cluster of good reviews? That's just a suspicion but I didn't just fall off the turnip truck. If you risk calling Triangle based on the positive reviews, then I offer my advance condolences and warn you not to sign ANYTHING and get another opinion before authorizing expensive work. Called me 3 months after work was done and told me I owed them money for a heating system project that took 2 months and three service trips for them to get it right. I know this bill was fully settled on the third visit, christmas eve, when I finally had heat after 2 months and begging. Did not provide receipts at the time of the work, could not/did not provide additional details requested when they tried to charge me more money. Threatened me and I wound up double paying for work. Called them to fix a leaking bathtub spigot. A week later, they came, as scheduled. We have weird schedules, so scheduling service for anything is a nightmare, so we were excited to be able to schedule them. The work couldn't be done that day, so we scheduled a time for them to come back, which was two days later, at 8am. On the scheduled workday, at 9:15, still no Triangle. Husband called to find out why, only to be told they had training that morning (they didn't know this on Tuesday??) and they couldn't come back out until the following week, despite my husband confirming the 8am appointment not once, but twice. And received confirmation back from Triangle. Needless to say, its now been a week....and we only have that ONE bathroom. All this after having to take out a loan for the repair. I called Triangle Heating And Cooling also working under the name Justin Time. They were referred to me by the local hardware store, who is also affiliated with this business. They came out to my house 2-days ago to give me a quote on my bathroom, plumbing installation, floor, installation, door installation, and to install shingles on my back porch roof. Their approach was extremely aggressive. They kept asking me how much money I wanted to spend and what was my budget. I kept telling them to submit their best estimate for this job. Again, they would ask me the same question and the circle just kept going around and around......... Later in the day, they send me an estimate, and then I updated estimate, and then another updated estimate. Each time the numbers kept getting higher. Their timeframe for availability was either Halloween day or Thanksgiving Eve. I guess they thought I would wait for them that long. I found the owner to be extremely belligerent. I would not recommend having these people come to your house for an estimate for anything at any time for any reason. Their reviews are horrible ... Called triangle for a water leak. Technician came and could not find source of leak. Instead sold me the seasonal maintenance check on my heat pump. Please note heating and cooling were working fine before technician visit. Technician blew out the condensate line at my request and took photos of my capacitor and contacts which had rust. He recommended I replace them. Since they were working, I declined the $800 replacement quote/job. Technician left. I should add the technician bragged about how much money he made and how nice the triangle trucks looked in one's driveway. A few days later, I noticed my house did not seem to be warming up. Thermostat kicked on the fan, so I assumed heat was running. Passed a cold winter, using my gas fireplace and a portable hot oil electric heater. When summer came and my A/c not working, I called a different repair company. two guys came out and within 5 minutes asked how my winter had been. very uncomfortable I replied. That's because the power to your heat pump had been turned off at the unit (outside). Wow. So triangle comes and turns the power off to my heat pump. I was furious. I had high gas and electric bills, which could have been minimal if the tech had been competent and re-energized my unit after he had taken his pictures. I called triangle with with a request to make this right. They refused to believe it was their technician and went as far to accuse "roving bands of teenagers". Since I had no "proof". it was their guy, they refused any ownership of their error and blamed me for not calling them when the house was cool. So, if you want a company who makes errors, refuses to own them and then blames you for their error, triangle is Your top choice. If you want honest service at a decent price, choose someone else. We went with a package that included annual heater inspections. This year was the first year for the inspection. The technician, Trevor Nichols, did a fantastic job. He checked our heater, flushed the system and gave us an update on the condition of the heater. In addition, since, we took advantage of Triangle's annual plumbing inspection program, Trevor included a service of our entire plumbing system on his visit. We were quoted an astronomically high price to replace our system. Something just felt off, not only about the price but the high-pressure, bullying sales tactics. The guy was pushing us to sign something right then when we hadn't even consulted other companies. The guy also resisted putting the quote in writing and that really set my alarm bells off. We told him we'd think about it and refused to sign anything. That day, I posted in a local Facebook group, not naming the company, just asking neighbors for ballpark figures of what they had paid for similar systems. The sales person then emailed my husband, saying he saw my Facebook post and that I shouldn't have asked my neighbors --- that email was super weird. We spent close to $70,0000 with Triangle. They installed a new roof, hvac system, plumbing and electrical. We had problems after problems from no shows to flooding our basement, new roof leaking, cracking our ceiling (refused to repair this...finally got them here to fix it and nobody shows up to finish the ceiling). They said we were abusive and hurt their employee's feelings. Wake up fellas!! When you don't show up when you say are and do a shoddy job, your feelings are going to get hurt. We are praying that everything Triangle installed will work in the future. They even tried to take away our warranties. Zach told us that he wanted to fix our ceiling his way We wanted it fixed correctly. He told us that he would take all of our warranties away if we made him fix it our way (which they ended up taking the entire ceiling down anyway...their way didn't work? Who does that? No reparable contractors that I know will tell you such nonsense. I am posting photos of the ceiling they have left us with. It took them 4 months to complete everything. Really nice technicians will come to your house for a small problem and create a quote for thousands of dollars of repairs whether you need them or not. Definitely Get a second opinion because the number of complaints is increasing weekly. The local tradespeople all know about Triangle's poor reputation. They will use scare tactics to convince you of a worst case scenario (your house will burn down unless you use their services, your pipes will burst unless you contract plumbing replacement with them). It's unfortunate that they prey upon people's worst fears and massively overcharge for thousands of dollars. Like Maria's experience posted below, when I declined service after finding out there were all these complaints, they sent me nasty text messages. It's mind boggling that a company would behave so unprofessionally. I called Triangle and they showed up on time and went to work. They stock Bradford-White HW heaters, which are the most reliable. Same day completed service. They removed the old unit, installed the new one and tested it within hours. They cleaned up after themselves when finished. The Tech is very knowledgeable and explained to me what he was doing. Triangle offers financing and after the sale service plan. Great work! The young lady that took my call was well spoken and clear about their service. I called for an estimate to replace my Central AC unit with a heat pump. As with any major purchase, I explained that I am looking to obtain at least three estimates. The Sales Manager, Heath, spoke at length with me and wanted me to make an immediate decision. I said I am ready to decide now. I explained I needed written estimates to compare and contrast the contractors prices and specifically the different models of heat pumps proposed. I had not heard from him for a week after calling his office a few times. Finally he calls and begins with demanding again for immediate decision WITHOUT A WRITTEN ESTIMATE FROM HIM. No price nor brand of unit. Then he accuses me that I would share the estimate with his competitors. He wanted to come back and look at the other estimates I had THEN make a proposal. The exact practice he accused me of just second ago! Dismissive, arrogant and combative, demanding that I just go forward with whatever system he has in his mind! No price, no model number of the heat pump! No wonder there are poor reviews of this company. Heath's aggressive sales techniques are alarming at best and most definitely offensive. He hung up stating that he would not deal with me at all with a written estimate, that I MUST just agree with his verbal plan, one with no price nor model of equipment.
