Local artist really shine here. I have visited many times and truly believe there is no bad seat in the house. My Mom and I recently watched the performance of jingle all the way. It was an awesome way to get into the holiday spirit. I really enjoyed the different skits. My favorite were the men's ensemble performing their rendition of the Macho Man featuring Amazon prime and the elf of the shelf was fantastic! I may have nightmares about that one to come. My Mom really loved the women's ensemble performing their rendition of 9 to 5. We will be trying to recreate those songs for years to come. Definitely enjoying having some champagne and snacks during the show!

DOV: Friday, April 13 @ 8pm OH MAMMA MIA, MAMMA MIA!!! Who says Friday the 13th is bad luck? We had front row seats to this fun-filled, ABBA-inspired celebration of love and laughter (Michelle P., Community Ambassador, you are awesome) The players were great, the songs were classic, and the energy was contagious...we didn't want it to end. Centre Stage is a small, intimate venue where every seat affords a decent view of the action on stage. This was the first time we had been on the front row (fancy) and it was quite a treat. I could literally reach my leg out and touch the stage with my foot. Pretty cool. There is parking for the venue across the street for $5, but you can park for free at two different lots only about a three-minute walk away. Refer to my previous review for more information on parking and Centre Stage itself. We had the best time at MAMMA MIA. The arts are so important in the life of our community and I encourage everyone to support them in any way possible.

My first visit was opening night of Mama MIa! The production was outstanding BUT the sound system was abysmal...weak, difficult to hear, and scratchiness. The seating is "theater in the round" stadium. The steps are steep so I suggest selecting something low if you're older, have weak knees/hips. We navigated well, but I can see where some people might have issues. Be aware that the floor plan is confusing. I couldn't recreate how to maneuver once inside, if I had to. Perhaps it will be clearer after my next visit. The assistants were cheerful and helpful. Walls are adorned with lots of local art. Our evening was most enjoyable despite the sound system problems and the cast was fantastically talented! There is a parking lot adjacent to the door and a parking garage on the side of the theater, but a brisk walking distance away. It just makes you "bust your buttons" to have this kind of talent in our cozy hometown. Yeah, that Greenville!

What a great show! The theater is small so all the seats are good. It's downtown so parking is not a problem and it made for a great afternoon. We highly recommend this theater.

Saw into the woods. First time to center stage but certainly not the last. Outstanding show. Viewer friendly theater. Can't wait to go back.

I won tickets from Yelp and attended the Christmas show- "Let Nothing You Dismay." It was amazing! I will definitely be going back.

Centre Stage is no Peace Center but I was blown away by the local production of Mamma Mia.

The acting was excellent. Everyone in the cast kept character even when in the background. The main cast was powerfully on target and very believable and enjoyable. The supporting cast was able to bring the whole stage to life. Did i mention how much I enjoy it? Lastly, all the voices were powerful and right on key. I wish we would have known of this theater these many years of us visiting Greenville. If you can catch a production...do it. You will get your money's worth and leave with a smile. Did I mention it was clean, well written and better than most Broadway offerings today! Well done, keep it up! New very comfortable seats too!

It was outstanding. This production was a first ever stage screenplay written based on the C.S. Lewis Narnia character. I was amazed at the quality of the production and in particular the puppetry and the intricate scene changes. Having seen productions on Broadway as well as in Los Angeles and Toronto and even the traveling Broadway series a our local Peace Center, I can say that the Logos production can proudly stand side by side with these venues, losing nothing in terms of the production, execution and talent. The facility and seats are different, of course, but I cannot say enough how impressed we were. Highly recommended and very well done.

Also if you're on the plus size side of things, you're gonna be in a lot of pain and have indentations on the sides of your thighs for weeks. But really, great show and great performers. I had been searching for something to do over the weekend, and came across info for the play. I thought I had found all the performing arts places in and around my area, but had never heard of this place, and sure enough, not even on Yelp yet. So I had to go check it out! The building is in the small city of Pelzer. It is an old but well kept Auditorium (don't you love plays preformed in buildings with history?) It had lots of free parking out front and was easy to get to. All the seats seemed great, but I did snag the front row for the same price as any other seat, which is awesome! I mean $10 to see a live production, that you can tell they really put their time, and poured their heart into - It was a great night. They have a good balcony area too if you prefer to see it from above. The crowd had a good energy, I knew I was in for a treat, especially when I walked in and saw the set. Everyone involved in getting that together needs a serious pat on the back. There were several very young actors in this particular play with very big parts, and honestly, since it is a community theater, I can't say I expected much. Boy, was I wrong! They did such an amazing job, real talent here! Everyone really blew me away, there were no weak links. A very amazing story, preformed here in the South (where the message still needs to get across sometimes). I'll be back to check out more plays here! Go check them out so they stick around too, we need art like this.
