The acting was excellent. Everyone in the cast kept character even when in the background. The main cast was powerfully on target and very believable and enjoyable. The supporting cast was able to bring the whole stage to life. Did i mention how much I enjoy it? Lastly, all the voices were powerful and right on key. I wish we would have known of this theater these many years of us visiting Greenville. If you can catch a production...do it. You will get your money's worth and leave with a smile. It was outstanding. This production was a first ever stage screenplay written based on the C.S. Lewis Narnia character. I was amazed at the quality of the production and in particular the puppetry and the intricate scene changes. Having seen productions on Broadway as well as in Los Angeles and Toronto and even the traveling Broadway series a our local Peace Center, I can say that the Logos production can proudly stand side by side with these venues, losing nothing in terms of the production, execution and talent. The facility and seats are different, of course, but I cannot say enough how impressed we were. Highly recommended and very well done.

Wanted to take the time to write a kind review towards this ballet school…read more The lead teacher Val has decades of experience as a performer and trained in Russia at one of their art schools and also did 8 years of university study. He's very knowledgeable about ballet history which has been really insightful to learn about. He's someone who is really passionate about ballet and it's heritage and getting new people excited about dance. The style is very classical ballet and traditionally Russian with strong roots to origins of ballet. As teacher, he's noticeably thoughtful about each member of the class and adjusting his teaching to the students there each day. It's very nice to see such attentive teaching as a dancer. Even though I've had a lot training, I feel I'm learning and improving and gotten great opportunities at this studio. Val can be strict at times, but is also very warm-hearted and wants to help everyone improve their skills. He thoughtfully makes parts for everyone in the shows and starts the next show season by having people fill about their desired type of roles and keeps stock of that. I hope more people will come dance at this unique studio. It's smaller, but gives a lot of opportunities for getting personalized attention in being taught or private lessons. I'm really enjoying taking classes here and the chill vibes.

Sigal's estate gave his collection away and the Carolina Music Museum was able to take the whole collection of over 700 instruments. Only about a quarter of the instruments are displayed because of lack of space. The museum focuses on the music and technology from 1775 to present day. Some of the museum is interactive but you cannot touch most of the antiques. The oldest Steinway is in the museum; harpsichords and so many pianos. The museum is on two levels and you can take the stairs or an elevator. At the moment, a special exhibit, Sound of America is taking up space on the first floor. I enjoyed learning some history through music. I liked that the museum did not focus on any specific type of musical genre but embraced them all from Blues to Jazz to Musicals to Rock to Rap to Classical to Gospel to Swing to Exotica. It was like going back in time seeing the eight track player that I used to listen to at my grandmother's place. It brought back great memories. Then seeing the walkman. I enjoyed seeing the radios and the cassette tapes I used to record music on from the radio. How things have changed. This museum is a gem and I've not seen anything like it before. I will be back to spend more time exploring.

They take their training seriously and apply it to every aspect of a dancers life. The produce well rounded dancers with focus on studio, school and community involvement. All the staff communicates well when you have a question be respectful and ask and they do their best to answer you fully. This isn't a "hobby" just for fun experience, if you're looking for instruction and a dance academy your dancer can excel to their highest then this is the place. Love love love our IBA family!

However, I was made to switch seats with my 10 year niece couldn't seat in seat 5. I purchased that seat specifically for her. She isn't unruly. We were just seating, talking. Then another family sits beside us with a 2 year old on their lap and a baby in their arms. Ridiculous!!

The contact at Swanson's was easy to work with. The event was affordable and casual yet intimate. We picked the caterer. We hosted this event on December 30th so the colorful string lights felt perfectly festive!
