My husband and I were…read morelooking for a workout that fulfilled his want of strength training and my want of group fitness/ HIIT classes. After looking all over Google and Yelp, I found Kindle. We did our 3 day trial and we were extremely humbled by the workout, but wow it was exhilarating! We immediately signed up for both of us to be members. What stood out to us in those three days were the format of strength and conditioning, but also the intense care and eye of the coaches. I thought I knew how to do a deadlift, but with Coach Broc, I learned that boy was I wrong! The workouts are intentional to build our strength in the strength portion and I genuinely have never been stronger in my life. We have hit personal records, one after the other, with the careful coaching from the coaches here. Coach Sina, Sara, Broc, Victor, and Chris really make you feel accomplished and safe when learning new moves (trust me, I am a mega beginner at lifting)! I now feel more confident in what I can do and I have seen such drastic changes in my mental and physical health. Not even a year in, my husband and I signed up to do singles DEKA Mile. If you asked me a year ago what that was, I wouldn't have been able to tell you. We invited our parents and our close friends and they were so amazed by what we had accomplished. I was so nervous going into it, but all of the workouts and coaching made it possible for my husband and I to finish in sub 40 minutes! (what a feat for a beginner if you ask me) Genuinely, this is the best choice that I have ever made for my husband and I. We have such a loving and caring community through Kindle and have made some lifelong friends that truly care about us. Without noticing, this place became our third space and we both are so grateful to everyone there. There's one thing you will never regret, investing in your mind and body!

They always provide modifications for different fitness levels, especially for anyone who cannot do jumps or certain movements. It makes the workouts feel accessible without losing the challenge. Overall, it is an amazing studio with great energy, supportive instructors, and a strong sense of community. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great workout in a welcoming space.

After attending Stride, I'll probably switch over to this studio instead. First off, I really like that Stride is inclusive to all fitness levels and give options for both walkers and runners. It has a range of different treadmill levels for Levels 1-4. This allows me to self-regulate and go easier or faster depending on how I'm feeling that day. This allows me to sufficiently warm up and I feel like I'm getting the most out of my workout. You only switch once during the combo so I definitely can take my time and do quality reps. Seriously there is nothing more annoying that switching between workouts super quickly and I don't even have time to catch my breath so please keep this format!

Game changer and much better use of space. I've been liking this new format because it added room for the strength and weight-training portion of the class. The benches are really nice and each bench has your own set of weights ranging from 7.5 to 25 pounds. Not having to get the weights you think you'll need for class is really helpful. For me, I still average around 2-3 miles per Combo class and that's perfect for me. This new format helps me hit more muscle groups than before! I also like the screens showing the strength moves on the strength side so it's easier to remember. Instructors and staff are all still amazing and welcoming. Definitely a class worth checking out!

I spent 2 yrs working as a personal trainer for 24 Hour Fitness, then after I changed careers (to a…read moresedentary one) I worked out at LA Fitness and LA Boxing as a patron, but when I saw an OTF open up 1 mile from my house in Eastvale, I had to give it a try. Long story short, I'll NEVER go back to working out alone or at any of those run of the mill other gym classes - nothing compares to the workout you get with OTF! Their workouts pack the most full body, well rounded exercises and cardio sessions into a 1 hour block - the kind of stuff that even supersedes what I remember teaching as a personal trainer. This class is perfect in a world where finding time to go to the gym can be scarce as it is! Why not pick the one class that gets you the max burn in one hour, and for a day or two after that (metabolically speaking)?! Logistically, the Corona location has 14 workout stations per section of the gym. 14 Treads, 14 rowers, 14 weight stations, and even a couple of bikes/striders for additional options. There is a 20-25min cardio block, then it rotates to weight floors, and then rowers, or however you want to rotate depending on where you start. When you get there you sign in for whichever part you want to start on and which station number you want to be on. As the class rotates from treads, to rowers, to weight floor, you just STAY ON YOUR STATION #. Half the people complaining on Yelp will be because a coach would have to politely ask them to stick to their assigned station number throughout class and they just didn't like not being able to stand wherever they wanted as they rotated (usually trying to get under a fan!) Friends - it's assigned not just for organizational purposes but to keep your germs to yourself. Also, what sold this place for me, having worked in big corporate gyms before, is the fact that even BEFORE covid, this gym has the coaches handing out Clorox wipes to each member to wipe down their equipment before rotating to the next section block of exercises. As an ex personal trainer who got a temporary skin fungus off unsanitized gym equipment once - I love this and so should you! The coaches demonstrate all the exercises as you go and give alternate options to make it easier or harder on yourself, and you choose what works for you! That's another fun part to all of this, no one is watching each other so much as every one is watching their own heart rate on the monitors to challenge themselves. Scheduling your classes is recommended, and you get up until 8hrs before your scheduled class time to cancel without a $12 fee. People gotta make a paycheck, so it's only fair to the coach and the gym management to charge the fee if you flake. Now if you need to switch a class time for later that same day, just give the desk a call and they can switch it for you no problem, but don't be that person who complains you got charged $12 when you knew every well you weren't gonna make class that day. This only helps to keep you accountable anyway. Also, people want to complain about the fact that they were late to class and got charged/refused admittance - that protects you from injuring yourself jumping into these workouts with cold muscles, and respects the gyms attendance policy. It's all about accountability, so plan accordingly! Now that's just how much I enjoy OTF workouts and their practices. Let me tell you about this particular location. I started off at Eastvale for several years but sadly it did not survive the Covid shut downs. So most of the Eastvale members like me make the drive to Corona now. Why? Not just for the exercise, it's for the staff and the overall positive and jovial vibe of all the members as well! Corona's staff is super friendly, helpful, and passionate for what they do. Now I've been to other locations and they are good too, but at Corona the combo of Corona/Eastvale members make for a very talkative and friendly lobby atmosphere! This is definitely a reflection of the manager Karla who is a very hard worker, and often puts together festive activities for the members to keep up the motivation and positive morale! She hosts events with free samples from fitness vendors, 90 minute specialty workouts, themed dress workout weeks among other things! Check out their Instagram for pics! Never have I seen a gym where the staff and members cheer and clap for each other so enthusiastically and as often as they do in Corona during workouts! Even though we are strangers when we walk in the door and may not know each other's names, it's a positive vibe at this location that is contagious! Come try out a free class and see for yourself :-)
