I've been to many different gyms and Centric has been the safest by far. The coach here all preach safety and form. You won't find any grimey equipment here. The owner is quite OCD on keeping it clean for us. Who am I to complain. Not trying to catch ringworm. The hour workouts consist of a long warm up, strength (either benchpress, squats, deadlifts, clean or presses) then the conditioning. The conditioning can be scaled to fit your experience level. Coach can modify the workout or you can adjust weights as needed. And expect to get a killer workout. Sometimes during my workouts I ask myself why do I choose to be so out of breath on my day off. I loveeeeee this CrossFit gym. I can't say enough about how amazing the coaches are. First, Jen, the owner, is amazing with gym cleanliness. This is literally the cleanest gym I've ever been in my whole life lol. The vibe here is so welcoming and kind. The coaches are so great with teaching proper form and are sticklers about form. They also make sure we get a good warm up and focus on stretching before the workout, which I very much appreciate. Well it's been 9 months since I started at Centric Athletics and it has been one of the best investment I have made in my life! I have tried gyms, but I kept getting tired of the same old cardio equipment. I even had my own equipment at home but eventually my treadmill became a clothes rack/hanger/dirty clothes hamper but here is what keeps me coming back to Centric, "no workout is ever the same" and they constantly keep challenging you beyond your own thoughts and capabilities! I go to school, have 4 kids, a small business and drive 20 minutes 5 days a week to get to Centric not because I have to but because I enjoy the coaches, atmosphere, and workouts. If you would have told me 9 months ago that I would be jumping boxes, doing burpees and lifting 100+ I would have lmao but now I am stronger, healthier and I can kick my husband's a$$! I've been A member at Centric's since 2017. I remember I was 49 about to turn 50 and I wanted to do some thing for myself. I went to Centric's and I'm still doing it. It is the best thing I've ever done for myself I've never felt stronger and healthier. The trainers here are all amazing. Not to mention the gym is exceptionally clean. It is very well taken care of. Coming here is the best thing I've ever done for myself! Almost 4 months ago, I had reached the highest weight I'd ever been. I had my body composition measured, and various labs done. The fat around my organs was off the chart, and almost half of me was fat. I had very high triglycerides. My doctor put me on a weight loss regimen and I started seeing a dietician for weekly weigh-ins. I also started coming here, along with yoga practice. I had the same tests done again after 3 months. I had lost 24lbs, and 22lbs of it was FAT. The fat around my organs had gone down halfway toward the Normal range. My triglyceride level was 1/3 of the previous value. That's all amazing and a great accomplishment, yadda yadda, and I still have a long way to go. Whatever. What I'm more excited about is that I am *this* close to deadlifting my own body weight, with back squats not far behind. I'd never lifted free weights before coming here, but over the years I'd done a few stints at the gym (cardio, step, aerobics), dabbled in running and swimming, and tried some of those infomercial video series. Nothing compares to this!! I have never appreciated my body more than I do now. I've set and accomplished so many goals since starting. My first day, I barely made it through the workout, so that was the first goal: make it through the whole class! Yesterday, I finally found my jumping rope groove. And one day in the not so distant future, I WILL perform the first pull-up of my adult life! The workouts can all be modified to your fitness level and abilities. Most of the workouts are short, but incredibly effective. Every day is something different, so I'm never too sore to come back. I kind of HAVE to come back every day. If I miss my usual class, I try really hard to get to a later class. It's not even guilt about not working out. It's more like FOMO (fear of missing out). I don't want to miss a single workout, because every workout is a chance to improve, and it's so empowering. I need to go to bed now so I can rest before the 5am class. . . read more

Such a great place! Centric Athletic is the perfect combination of both bootcamp and crossfit all in one. I have done both in the past with crossfit leading me to injuries due to improper form and too much weight. Here they teach you, watch you and correct you, which is key to proper training.
