Papusas, fried cheese and fried chicken tacos
    Mia S.

It is definitely authentic made to order Latin food. A family owned hole in the wall place and every customer was Latino. Enormous glasses of fresh tea! They brought a bowl of pickled jalapeno veggies rather than chips and salsa. We had the fried chicken tacos (taquitos), fried cheese plate & papusas. Each plate comes with side of a coleslaw type salad. I'm realising that authentic Latin food has very basic seasoning, so I ALWAYS need to add hot sauce or fresh jalapenos. My Louisiana palate demands it. I was excited to have papusas again. These were good....not great. The fried plantains were very good tho. Everything else was just ok.

We were looking for a whole fried fish and found a red snapper here. delicious! fried hard but not overdone. This is our new favorite spot for whole fried fish.

I love it. I love it. Home cooked, authentic Latin American cuisine. I don't speak a lick of Spanish but when I come here they treat me with such kindness and no judgement. I appreciate them

Puerco, arroz pinto, maduros y ensalada de repollo. Delicioso todo!

My family is originally from Panama and whenever we want to eat Latin food that feels like homecooked we come here! One of my #1 reasons is to drink agua fe guanabana which you can barely even get it much in Panama now a days. Its one of those childhood 'chichas' that never gets old. The food is also really good- the pupusas, el plato centroamericano que trae de todo, las chuletas, los maduros etc. You can't go wrong!! Service is def not 5 stars, maybe 3.5? but I've learned to be patient in life and go with the flow, so when you come eat here just be patient and try not to be starving. Will def be back!!!

Plantains cooked in various ways, chicarons, chorizo, stewed pork, beef, cabbage, pickles spicy vegetables, rice and beans, yucca, etc.

Our first time here--we were driving past and stopped on a whim. We are so happy we did! We both ordered the combination plate and it is incredible. So many different foods on one plate, and every bite revealed some other treasure below. Limited on time so this review has to be short, but suffice to say, this place is fantastic. We will definitely be back!

So delicious!!!! The De todo un poco is AMAZING!! Fried pork, ground pork, charbroiled beef, rice and beans, plantains, yucca and taco....Two of us barely got through half... we will be back!!!

This place is closed and no longer in business we took a Lyft here while on vacation and got stranded. Do not come!

The pupusas were amazing. The combo plate (Un poco de todos) was large enough to split between two people! Love this restaurant!

I had the eggs and chorizo and it was delicious. Ordered the fried plantains as well, and I would definitely recommend.

We had the shrimp in jalapeño sauce and bbq skewers. Both were fantastic. Plantains were outstanding.

A Latin style tapas place in the arts district boasting flavors from South America (Argentina,…read morePeru, Venezuela, Yucatan), Mexico (Oaxaca and Mexico City), and the Caribbean. Fresh seafood from the Gulf of MEXICO and a wicked drink menu. They offer several ceviches. Tapas include guacamole, empanadas, crawfish queso, fish dip and veggie salads like crispy cauliflower and Brussels sprouts. We had the crispy cauliflower served with tempura, cashew habanero crema, garbanzo hash, and chimichurri. Loads of flavor and just the right bite size for tapas/apps. Plates include churrasco, fish and grits, paella (can be served veggie or without shellfish if you're allergic), lamb, Yucatan style pork, shrimp or steak mofongo, and chicken poblano. I had the churrasco, served with papas bravas. Steak cooked perfectly and seasoned perfectly. My husband had the steak mofongo and the beef tips, like the churrasco, were seasoned perfectly. The plantain mash was sweet and somehow savory at the same time. We loved both dishes. They make mean margaritas and caipirinhas hre, and also offer drinks like the paloma, the Bolivian sour, sangria, and specialty drinks. Service was amazing. She was so upbeat and helpful. This restaurant was a little slow when we went. It deserves a lot more love. It's so close to the touristy part of the French Quarter. Leave the gimmicky spots and come here, you won't regret it.

Definitely worth trying. Cute restaurant. Nice ambiance and vice. Clean…read more The crawfish Queso is mild, not spicy at all. Good flavor. The shrimp ceviche is delicious. The sauce is spicy. If you like spicy- get this dish. Not your typical ceviche. The Mofongo is tasty. If you like Vinha D'Alhos. You'll like this dish. The steak had a marinated vinegar taste. The meat is also very tender. Service was good. Waitress was nice and welcoming.
