That's my experience at every doctors office I've been to, until now. At One Medical in Brickell you're welcomed into an open living room setting by Bri and Eliza who are both super friendly and professional. Don't get too comfy in the waiting room because you'll be taken on time (in my case they took me early.) And it wasn't a nurse or assistant who came out to greet me. It was the doctor herself. Dr. Rosie Singh is awesome. Friendly, knowledgable, compassionate, very easy to talk with. She explained a medical condition better than the specialist who treated me. for it. She gave me around 30 minutes of her undivided attention (unlike a previous primary care physician who breezed in and out of the examining room in minutes!) Her follow up was same day. I went to have my lab work done after my physical and waited less than five minutes to be seen (I went on a weekday morning.) Adriana took my blood sample and was a gentle pro (despite my uncooperative veins!) Plus, my lab results were ready the very next day complete with Dr Singh's comments. Every inch of the office is immaculate. This is not your typical doctor's office visit. While I hope I don't have to visit frequently, it will be a pleasure to return to One Medical.

I ended up switching doctors based on reviews I read about Dr. Jacqueline Ramirez. Mostly what convinced me was her attitude. I'm a big believer in doctors caring about their patients and not treating them like a number and she fits the bill. She's a bit different than doctors I'm used to. She has a D.O. rather than an M.D. and admittedly that made me hesitant, but meeting her and being attended by her changed that. I have never felt so comfortable with a primary physician. It felt like talking to a friend, and when I went back to get lab work results, I ended up seeing another doctor at this office and it's the same feeling. You cannot go wrong at this office. At least with the doctors. Very humane, very willing to help. The only reason I give four stars instead of five is because I had to call LabCorp for being billed inappropriately. Eh, that's what I get for doing the lab work at the office for $20, but it is what it is. Mistakes happen.
