This is a nice small community park nestled between several luxury apartment complexes. It serves as a park and a dog park for the many pet owners in the area. The park definitely offers a good designated area for dogs and their owners. It is fenced off and double-gated. Around the park, there are plenty of dog poop stations, benches for sitting, and a nice large grassy area. There are several picnic tables under trees and a shaded cover as well. I like that there are plenty of trashed cans in the area. One thing that is disappointing to see is that smokers leave their cigarette butts on the ground where they congregate and smoke. Considering I was locked in the dog park this morning and couldn't get out because the gate is broken. That deserves 1 star.

So the park gets four stars, it has what you need, the swingset is in great shape and the children's play structures are also in excellent condition. But obviously this park is intended for the residence of the surrounding complexes and public parking Is minimal at best. So go ahead and park in the green 20 minute zones and gamble because I don't know where else you could possibly park. This gorgeous so well maintained BEAUTY of a PARK is SUCH A delight that we almost wanted to get up and move to this area just to be CLOSER. Granted, this is THANKFULLY only a 5 minute drive from the home, but we prefer this park over any of the 5 parks near our home. No shade to my zip code but this takes the cake. This precise location tucked away in the complex is such a hidden charm. It's hidden but at the same time it is not. It is in the dead center of all of the gorgeous units/complex's/resident's. Everyone knows everyone, it's like a small town. The palm tree's, the lush green grass, the eatery across the street, the playground, all just ties so wonderfully. It's a beautiful sight to see and thats speaking from what I SEE. My PUP adores this place. Even the way over to the park it is as if he can just smell the Centrum Park grass, his head out the window got his tongue hanging out and it just hangs different when it's a centrum park day! Only CON; parking. if you are not a resident of this area, it will be close to impossible for you to park. There are a few visitor parking spots, but good luck. Those seems to always be taken. What's the best way to visit? Go support PARK SOCIAL (read my review on that, it is the best), get yourself a bite to eat. No one likes when you're hangry nor does your pup, obtain a parking pass from the counter and after your meal, cruise next door for your pup to just burn off some energy! This is a pristine park tucked in a residential area near my office. This is indeed a public park open to all. It's a nice little walk from work at lunch time to enjoy lunch at one of the picnic tables. I discovered it during the after the pandemic began when I was looking for a place to socialize with colleagues and with social distancing. There is plenty of shade too or sunny seating if you prefer. read more

We go to Centrum park pretty often since one of our friends lives in the complex. It's a great little playground with equipment appropriate for various age groups. They also have swings and slides, sand and a large grassy area to walk or run you dog while you are there. There is a separate fenced-in place for dogs too where they can run free. It's so fun watching all the different neighborhood doggies frolicking together. One of the cooler features at this park is that the equipment has built-in sun shades. Comes in handy here in Southern California! There are several spots right next to the park. You may need a parking pass for those. Or plenty of free street parking right outside the complex. read more

We came to this park since my daughter wanted play time. This park is located inside an apartment complex centrally located in the middle. It's also a dog park which is great but as I was walking through the pavement, I see tiny bits of dog poop. Kinda gross when you are walking around. Don't the owners pick up their own dog poop?! Ugh. Anyway, other than that, the playground was nice and simple. There were plenty of benches that surrounds the playground. Behind the playground is a huge grass area for kids to play or where dogs do their business. It was a cold day to be outside but sitting in the sun was nice. A very chill place to relax. There's side parking for visitors which is around 20 minutes. They also have a parking garage but you need to pay for the parking garage if you are a visitor. Nice clean park. It's pretty quiet. The only complaints I have is that they a pet potty area like right next to the children's area. The other is that they are doing construction right across the street and you get a lot of the tar and drills from there. Not to mention that it is noisy. Cute little community park. I've been here a couple of times to enjoy my lunch. It's nestled in between the Ariva apartment complexes. There's a children's playground as well as a dog park. There's a grassy area to sit on for a picnic and there's also a few picnic tables. Love this park. Some of the reviews are from a while ago from before the dog park, and landscaping upgrade. We are residents in the community and this park is great! There's two dog parks now that are far enough away from the playground that it's perfect. You do get the occasional pet owners who don't pick up on the grass, but it's much better now that the dog park is available. There's also Park Social Restaurant now open right across the street which is perfect! read more

Nice clean park, there is an enclosed dog part that is consistently mowed. This review is overdue as I've come here many times and keep coming back. It is in the middle of a condo complex which is very well mainyajned. The people here are friendly and local. Lots of picnic tables. Great for outdoor parties. The sand is very clean and loose so it is easy to brush off. But there is conatruction going on so all you hear are drills and trucks. If it doesn't bother you this is a great park to bang put at. read more

Brand new Park by City of San Diego which borders the domain by alta apartment complex. They have a playground, benches, barbecue pits, and dog bags around the park. Grass is really green, but with all the construction going on its far from quiet or clean. Once all the construction in the area is done it will be a very nice little park. read more

I really like it not just because it's around the corner from where I live but it's not soo crowded like other parks and not so dirty like other parks. I went there recently and it seems like they fortify the lacking lighting. They also added the waste bags for dogs. read more

Nice park for kids and dogs but I guess there is always a downside when dogs are allowed cuz they poo everywhere and sometimes owners don't pick it up. I don't let me daughter play in the grass for this reason. I also see people letting there dogs play on the play ground which I'm not happy about either. Sorry but you're dog most likely stepped in it's own poo and is now tracking it all over the playground. Just my review on this place. Don't get me wrong, I love dogs but I have had several and I know how messy they can be during there "walk"( bathroom break). On the bright side of things my daughter and I love the swings! AND not to mention the food truck that is there once a week doesn't hurt either ;) read more

Nice, clean, and convenient park for those who live in the surrounding apartments. My husband and I love taking our puppy Bella here. She gets to interact with all of the other puppies and dogs in the community. Perfect for socializing dogs and with other neighbors . There are picnic tables. Doggie bag stations. Playground for kids. I give it 4 stars because it could have a little more trees for shade and lighting at night. We have let Bella run around off leash only because we trust her to come back when called. Many owners do let their dogs off leash here. However, some parents have complained about dogs being off leash in the park. I can understand their concerns for their children. Perhaps a gated area for the dogs to run free would earn this park a five star. read more

I live very close to the spectrum park and every night I go out with my dog on a walk . There is a wide space of grass where the dog can run around and play. It's a quiet place to sit and hang around. I really recommend coming here. read more

Park is located between office buildings and newly build condos/apartments. It is fairly good size which includes a BBQ pit, large grassy area, swings, and a play area. The grass is already becoming brown even though this park is so new. I would like to see if maintained a little better. read more

People, this is not a dog park. If you do bring a dog, keep it on its leash and clean up after it. The only downside of this park is dog poop everywhere and you get harassed by everyone's dog that they have off its leash and aren't paying attention to it. Everyone should be able to enjoy this park but it is somehow getting taken over as a dog park of sorts. I guess I am leaving out that there is a pretty great playground that seems like a safe local option for parents with youngsters but I would bet most days you'll be surrounded nuisances. read more

They ignore the signs that say to keep your dogs leashed, and many don't clean up after Fluffy. There are plenty of dog parks in San Diego, go use them. read more

Great space but over watered to the point it's not usable! The dog park has large mud puddles all the time which the dogs love but the owners don't. The grass in the open area is always so wet you cannot even walk on the grass. read more

I own a town home nearby. I used to love to take my grandchildren here, not anymore. Lots of irresponsible dog owners ignore the signs. My grandkids have been knocked down numerous times by dogs off leash and the grass is off limits due to the dog poop left by owners. We chose to live in the new neighborhood because of this park. We have a young son and a dog, so the convenience factor was a big plus. The children's play area and picnic tables are great. That being said, some of our fellow neighbors and dog owners that frequent this park, feel that it is ok to behave irresponsibly and they let their dogs go off leash and won't pick up their dogs messes. As a parent and a dog owner and lover who has lived in San Diego for years, I can't quite understand why people think this is acceptable behavior. There are over 14 approved off leash parks in the city of San Diego. There are more in surrounding areas... Last year there were 2500 reported dog bites/attacks in San Diego... Hardly a small number. So why in the world would people let their furbabies run loose around unknown children who are unpredictable and possibly intimidating to a dog who doesn't understand human behavior and when threatened will likely act instinctively. A bad deal for all... Children could be hurt and those people would lose their dogs if something dangerous were to occur. Anyways, dog policies in this park need to be strictly enforced and people who frequent this park need to be more considerate of all of their neighbors. read more

People treat it as a dog park and let there dogs run around and poop and piss all over as if it's going out of style. Oh wait it's not a dog park you say? It's a nice park with a nice playground and what could be nice grass!? I personally enjoy sitting at one of the tables in the sun or walking around it on my walks as a change of pace from the surrounding highway and office parks but a lot of people don't respect the fact others don't enjoy dog poop smeared all over the place, like they seem to do. There are bags and trash cans all over the place yet they still don't clean it up. It's a shame this nice grassy area also gets ruined by the piss that kills the grass. I would give this place a solid 5 stars if not for people attempting the largest mosaic of dog poop in the world. I like dogs. I hate the people who own dogs and don't train them or respect rules that try and make life nicer for others as a society. I bet you would hate it if yourself or your kid was playing in the grass and came back covered in dog poop. But how should I know. Maybe you like that because you leave it everywhere. If I took a dump in the middle of the park I would get arrested because no matter how much I protest it's just not an art form. Clean up your dogs waste and follow the rules!!!
