Not gonna lie - it was a little eerie stepping into a place with a history of senseless tragedy, but it was the closest movie theater from the airport where we could weather the storm while we waited for our rescheduled flight. Everything was brand new, the employees were friendly, and it was $4.00 for a weekday matinee. This is an excellent place for a money-conscious moviegoer. I will not comment on whether or not it's good business practice for Cinemark to keep operating at this location, or what the makeup of the neighborhood is like, because that's not what Yelp is about. Need to find a cheap movie ticket? This is the place. Up until about 6pm your ticket is only $4.75! After it's about $6.50 for a standard movie. Just under $10 dollars for 3D or XD. I love going to early movies to avoid the crowds (before 11am). It definitely has its busy days as you can imagine with the low ticket prices. They keep the place pretty clean for the most part. Sometimes you run into a sketchy crowd but that's why I usually go here in the morning. Will return no doubt! read more

Great theater to see a movie in! It's terrible what happened here, but Century Theaters has done a wonderful job on the "facelift" and giving this place a new look and feel. They are less expensive than other theaters, but certainly don't deliver an inferior experience. Their concession stand can handle any crowds I've seen and they have more choices than most places. Horrible service. Waited in line for 40 minutes to redeem my coupon for 1 free Jr. Popcorn (received from work). Once I ordered my stuff I got in the massive line to pay and the 1 teenager at the front scanned the coupon and said something along the lines of "I don't know how to put this in the system". WHAT!!?? You work here and you don't know how to redeem a coupon? This guy seemed to ring everyone out with relative speed but when confronted with a coupon, he turned into a pumpkin. I asked for him to call for a manager and he did so, after waiting for 24 minutes more (I timed it) I politely asked him to call again. He got upset and said that it was my fault for using a coupon and that there wasn't anyone to help me. At the point I set my popcorn down on the counter and walked away. Very upsetting experience. I will NEVER be back to this theater. read more

GET IT TOGETHER!!!!!!! First they didn't know how to take our passes then the concessions was a complete train wreck! They moved so slow-obviously hate their jobs. Also acted so confused no matter what someone ordered. Starbucks part needs to be separated from other food-takes up even more time. Arrived to our movie over 20 minutes late. Will NOT be coming back here....and if I do by some miracle-I'll come here 2 hrs in advance, maybe then I'll only be a few minutes late seeing my movie. Deserve zero stars. read more

OK, so it's theater where the mass shooting took place. But told people & sent e-mails at the time to let all know that I love movies & would be hanged if I let some lunatic determine what I go to see & where I go to see it!! Went back as soon as it re-opened & it was great to see all the brand new furnishings. And the prices--you can not beat $4.50 for a ticket. The price is so good, I will even go to the concession stand. First time back, told the kid taking my money how glad I was that they had re-opened, He grinned at me & said so was he...he had a job!!! The woman who took the tickets before the shooting would always ask me how I was doing. And I would tell her "I'm doing great! I'm going to the movies!! What could possibly go wrong?? read more

This theater has the best staff. They are all so friendly and helpful. The remodel has this theater so clean and new feeling. They have a wonderful summer kids program. You can either pay $1 per movie for 10 weeks or $5 for a punch card that lets you see 10 movies. Plus they have a $2 off coupon toward a drink or popcorn and $1 off a kids pack and cinemark rewards members still get the 20% off on top of the coupons. Great theater but just can't give it 5 stars. We are familiar with other Cinemark theaters and the XD theater is not as big as others. Still a great picture and very clean and safe. We were visiting from Durango for a month and went there 3 times. Weekend matinee before 2:00 was only $4.50. I am on the sideline as to how the concessions flow - need to see it when it is busy. They do have sweet kettle corn at the same price as regular popcorn read more

Century is my go-to movie theater. Best ticket prices in the city, especially matinee. Very clean, recently renovated, and the seats are very comfortable. Don't let what happened here in the past deter you from coming here and enjoying this great theater. Minus 1 star because they staff the concessions with moronic teenagers who don't have a clue (but it really doesn't matter because we ALL sneak outside food/drink in here... don't lie). read more

Felt kinda wonky walking into this place considering... But hey it is relatively close and I wanted to take in a matinee they were offering. The people here were nice. I like the freedom you have to pick out things in the concession area and fill your own drink. Unlike most other places that have everything locked up behind glass! This theatre has plenty of parking and is clean for every showing. It is also very close to RTD and a shopping mall.

A movie ticket is $6.50... If you see a Matinee, it is $4.50. I am just so amazed by this that I had to give them five stars.

I was skeptical about coming to this theater because of what has gone down here...But it's an okay night out with the family. I don't like the weird style of the chairs, they recline funny. AMC has much more comfy style in my opinion. It's also annoying that the nachos don't have cheese in them? I walk up and see a warm bag of tortilla chips but no cheese sauce???? This is the cleanest, friendliest, safest theater. I understand any reservations about seeing a movie here but that is all in the past.

Saw Get Out here yesterday with my wife. The seats were decently comfortable, but they didnt recline. Ticket price wasnt bad at 650 for an afternoon show on a Saturday. Theater was decently clean. Dont use Yelp for directions or you will get lost. Theater is detached and away from highway. There's no bar for this theater fyi. read more

I love this theater, it obviously got bad press because of what happened but this is the cheapest theater and best value of any theater I have ever been to. 8.50 or 9 dollars for two tickets even on a Saturday night and popcorn plus a drink, less than 20 dollars for a date night these days is unheard of. Popcorn is always fresh and the staff is friendly. Be wary of going on Friday or Saturday nights as it does get crowded with highschool kids who can talk and text during the movie, have had to ask more than a few to be quiet. We will continue to come back to Century because of the value, can't beat it read more

It was my Sissy's daughters birthday we came here to watch Hotel Transylvania 2 and it was so disorganized I had to talk with the Manager , thank goodness there are still professional people employed in movie theaters. This is a pretty good movie theater. I went to this theater mostly because the prices were a lot cheaper here than at the Regal theater closest to me. The chairs are very comfortable and they recline and they have heated seats, which is pretty cool. The popcorn I got here was extremely bland, even with butter. It's probably the worst theater popcorn I have had. It was almost like the employee just put a tiny bit of butter on top and then the rest was just completely plain. However, the overall snack options here are good. You can even get a small pizza if you want to. The room where I saw my movie (M) was not too big and not too small. I come to this movie theater all the time. It's conveniently located like 3 blocks from my house too. Every time I've been in, even if the line for tickets is long, they've been really fast to serve. The concessions stand is really fast as well. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was because the concessions stand was ridiculously messy. Also, because the girl at the register miscounted my change like 5 times haha. It's easy math so maybe that's why. I was annoyed. Other than that I really love this place. Came in the other night with my grandparents to watch Terminator whatever. The theater was nice and the seats were comfy, but the concessions line was confusing as a tourist and getting fresh popcorn at 10:30pm might not be ideal (I worked at a theater for two years myself) but guests shouldn't feel bad for ordering items or asking queations, as I did. read more

This theater might be an all-around good time for normal movies, but if you're looking for the cheap ticket prices to make it worth it for any midnight showings, think again. About an hour into the much-hyped HP2 midnight showing, electricity in the ENTIRE theater went out. Their answer? "We might get if figured out within the hour...otherwise you can all come back tomorrow," as in, they think that opening weekend of a hit movie isn't going to be busy or something. I SERIOUSLY doubt 4 theaters worth of viewers are going to fit into the next day's showing. This place has gone through a complete renovation. Quite frankly I don't remember how it looked like before because I rarely come here. Much to my surprise two tickets cost me a whopping $8 and some change! With how ridiculously inflated movie ticket prices are nowadays you can't really beat that kind of deal. Apparently there's a special on Tuesdays. Leather seats, couple of drinks and some popcorn cost me a little over $20. Now thats unheard of! Great theater! I saw two movies there in one day and each theater was awesome. Tuesday is a great deal where everything is half-price.

Tragedy aside, the theater is really completely different looking now. Almost brand new, and the prices are good. The renovations really made it nicer and they have upped security quite a bit. It was really in need of the renovations so im glad that they were able to put a little money in to making it a better theater and making it look nicer. I hope that everyone takes good care of it so it can stay that way. read more
