We recently visited Chuck E. Cheese and while the kids still had a fun time, there were a few things that made the experience less enjoyable for us as parents. The bathrooms could have been better maintained and restocked during our visit. We also felt that some of the staff seemed a bit overwhelmed or not especially welcoming at times. On top of that, the pricing felt pretty steep for a casual outing where kids are simply there to play and have fun. The pizza tasted great and they cut it into very small slices which was perfect for the kids. That said, it's still a fun spot for kids and I'd likely return for a birthday party or special occasion for close friends or family -- just probably not for regular visits. read more

We came on a Wednesday for lunch and it was empty and awesome. Our child is 4 and didn't want to leave after 2 hours. We did the Groupon deal for about $55. This gets you a large one topping pizza, 2-60 minute unlimited game cards, and 4 soft drinks. We also purchased another 60 minute unlimited game card for $20 using the coupon on their site. And we added a stuffed crust for $3. All in all with taxes and everything, we paid $82 for everything (including the Groupon). The pizza came out so fresh and hot and blew away my expectations. I thought it was pretty good! I loved the cheese stuffed crust too. Our 4 year old did not like the stuffed crust. We quickly realized we didn't need the extra game card but that's ok, now we know. We staggered the game cards so that it lasted us 2 hours, instead of one. It was seriously such a great time. I took away a star for 2 reasons. One is that Chuck E never came out. I get that it was slow and only 10 people in the store the entire time we were there, but from 11-almost 2, he never came out. We were disappointed. The other reason is that they stamp your hands for security reasons, no one was checking stamps on the way out. We waited and no one came and when other people just walked past to leave, we joined. Again, I get it, it's not busy, but still. We will def come back. I will def tell my neighbors about how much fun we had. We are now thinking of doing a party here for his 5th birthday. read more

We came to Chuck E. Cheese to celebrate my niece's birthday, and beyond the arcade games and the surprise Chuck E. visit, we noticed an exciting new feature: the Adventure Club! We had an amazing Adventure Club experience thanks to our host, Bai. From the moment we arrived, she made sure every child was safe on the trampolines, slides, and obstacle course. She was funny, friendly, and incredibly attentive, always keeping a close eye on the kids while making sure they were having the best time. What truly stood out was how she took the time to get to know the children. She didn't just supervise -- she jumped with them on the trampoline and played alongside them in the obstacle course, making every child feel included and special. I've been coming to Chuck E. I haven't been to a CEC for years. I used to bring my kids all the time but they out grew it, so I thought. I decided to have a little birthday gathering for my birthday. The teens and older people had a blast being a kid! The pizza has changed for the better, we got the stuffed crust which had so much cheese and a really good herb spice on it. The games are now a card which you can pay by the hour, I thought it worked out perfectly. They only thing that needs to be upgraded are their prizes. Nothing much to choose from. read more

It's been a while since we've been here. Took my boys in today right after lunchtime on a Tuesday. We came at the perfect time because one group left right as we were entering and the next group showed up as we were leaving about 90 mins later. Practically had the place to ourselves! The staff was amazing. I feel horrible that I didn't get either of their names, but the first guy who greeted me was wearing a hilarious pop culture ugly sweater He was very helpful seeing as I was alone juggling a toddler and a preschooler. When he heard we were there as a reward for my boys being brave through a doctor's visit that included shots, he went above and beyond to make sure the boys felt special and rewarded, and told them it was awesome they were there. There was also an older lady who helped us when it was time to redeem our tickets. She also made the boys feel proud and even though only the preschooler picked out a couple prizes, she gave the baby something safe for him to hold on to as well. While we were there another staff member was walking around cleaning and disinfecting all the machines, which always makes a mom feel good about their kids touching everything in sight! Even though there was practically no one else in there, they still followed safety protocols of stamping hands, and not just letting people walk in without being counted first. Love that CEC is designed so the kids can be pretty self sufficient with the games -- almost all machines at toddler height and easy to operate. The all you can play deals are awesome because most places don't include the ticket games or photo booths, but they are included here! We will likely be back sooner than later as it was the perfect reward and my boys had a great time without it being hard for Mom! Thanks guys!! read more

the place was great and my nephew had the best time!! but the staff was weird. i asked to order a beer and she was hesitant about it and then called for the manager. the manager came and they said they had issues with the system and couldn't sell it. Yes, there are many games to play, and from that aspect it is a fun place. However, calling what they serve 'food' or even more extreme 'pizza' is not all that accurate. For the sake of the kiddos we go there, they play and I try. But my physical condition usually requires me to wander amongst the kiddos at play. That is good entertainment. And I enjoy it. But the food? Not so much. Regarding the sanitation. I had to leave for a moment, upon returning, because I washed my hands, my little stamp was gone. But the gate keeper believed me and let me in. I asked how he could keep his stamp on. I mean in a shift there may be the necessity to was one's hands. His reply, "I never wash my hands!" And he did, from time to time work at food service. Prices are a bit high but I wil say that the employees were friendly, there were lots of games to play, the food was pretty tastey, (we got pizza), and for kids most ages this place is a total blast. Having my child's birthday party here was the BEST idea I've had in a long time! They did everything for us from decorations, balloons, our own, personal party assistant, food & drinks and of course all the games. After playing for a while, pizza was served, then the dippin dots and Chuck E Cheese came out and danced & sang with the kids. The kids were all so excited, happy and screaming with joy! Our assistant even cut & served the cake, did all the clean-up and then she packed up all the leftovers for us. The venue was clean and organized. We adults had plates from the salad bar and it was quite good. We got to actually enjoy playing games with each other and enjoying the party and it was very affordable! One star is giving them way to much credit. My daughter payed over $400 fir my grandsons birthday party of 10 children. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE many of the games did not work. There is a huge bouncy house slide in the middle of the place HOWEVER to enter the children must purchase Chuck E Cheese socks at $10.00 a pop they cannot just wear their own. The pizza was cold ans curling because it had been sitting out long before served. Two days before the party they called my daughter to tell her due to supply there were no goodie bags they could supply, so she went out and purchased goodie bags only to find out the day of that they indeed have CHEAP TRASH goodie bags the items were so cheap ans flimsy that they were not appropriate for toddlers and disappointing to older children, several just left them there. In the end (with most of the guests donating their tickets to the birthday boy) for 5000 tickets he chose a projector light. It did not work my daughter would have just thrown it away and be done with it but to him he worked hard to get it and was very proud of it. I took it back and spoke to the manager (this light can work on batteries OR the provided cord) I told her the cord did not work, she got a ladder and climbed up got a new one and went in the back, she came back out and said this one will work I put batteries in it. Luckily I went out to the car and checked the cord IT DIDN'T WORK! I went back inside pointed out the first line of the directions showing her that it was to work with batteries or the cord she again went into the back and said THIS one will work. I replied "you told me that with the last one are you going to check this one before I leave?" She says no I just gave you your original back with batteries. " SERIOUSLY?! Um ya we were too stupid to try batteries, she tried to pass the broken one off as the one she had climbed up to get! There was no empathy or even a customary customer service apology for the horrible party, nor any shame for trying to pass the broken toy back to me. First we are not going to keep putting batteries in this trash and second there is no screw to secure the batteries the child can take them right out (no age warning on the box). There are not enough words to express just how bad this was!... End note as I handed my grandson the new one this morning the top popped right off... I sat it on his dresser and balanced the top on it then explained (the best I can to a toddler) that it has to stay right there, we can't move it or touch it... Guess what he pushed one of the buttons to change the setting (as he should be able to do) and he had to come have me put it back together so we have that to look forward to several times a day until we can sneak it into the trash. read more

Very stressful trying not to lose your kids here. We booked a birthday party and had to consistently remind the manager of items that were included in the package. They kept forgetting our food and the kids pizza tasted better than the adult pizza. The wings have definitely gotten better since the redesign, but the took out a lot of the things that made Chuck E Cheese worth going to - the stage, animatronics, play set. It's very arcade style now and they took away a lot of the seating. Not the same as it was when I was a kid. read more

My kids had a blast at a birthday party here. They had an unlimited wrist band, which means they could go crazy running from game to game. The facility was very clean and well kept up. If you don't want your kid shooting zombies or drinking soda, it might not be the place for you. I'm not thrilled with those things, but my kids had tons of fun. read more

Came for my nephews 4th Birthday Party. This was a big hit for a 4 year old. He could hardly control himself and was overjoyed with all the fun games, and rides and the singing rat The party host was young and energetic and a perfect match for the birthday boy. This is pro anyone of the cleanest Chuck E Cheese restaurants I have been to. They seemed short staffed, but not as much as some other places right now. Most of the games were in working order. The cashier was very soft spoken so hard to hear with the mask. The food took a long time to come out, again they are probably short staffed. Old games, most lasting under 30 seconds. I spent $20 and couldn't keep a kid entertained for 1 hr. No indoor play area/funhouse like I was hoping for, just sad broken down games. Employees were unfriendly and disinterested. I waited at the counter so my son could pick out prizes and the employees were just standing there and saw me, didn't come over. I walked over closer to them (still on the customer side of the counter) to ask for help and she seemed irritated and told me to go back to where I was originally waiting. I don't care, this place is not just for kids. I had my share of fun too. They have a fun house that I didn't get to play with when I was young. All I had was a boring little ball pit. Just kidding. I freaking loved the shit out of that ball pit. I used to lock the door so I can swim in this ball pit by myself. I was a brat, y'all. Anyways, the entire experience was excellent. Nice, sweet greeter at the door, stamped our hands, we picked a wonderful table. I'm a fan of the brand new self-service kiosks they have!! expedites my waiting time for sure. We ordered a large meat lovers pizza, with beef, Canadian bacon, bacon bits, pineapple, and BBQ sauce. YUUUMMM!! We also got 3 drinks for $1.00 something. We sat, we had Emily the manager come and help us. they got us extra napkins and BBQ dipping sauce. we enjoyed the games, we noticed they no longer really rely on tokens, but rather a scanning game card like D&B does. The fun house is worth it. I think it's a lot of fun, and if you're not a giant, you can go in with your child. That's what I did. The tickets of the games are wayyyy lessss than D&B, so I'm very disappointed in that, because you can win way more tickets at the adult D&B. However, at the prize center, they do give the prize whether you're 20 tickets short. that's wonderful this location does that. the pizza is wonderful, the service was wow, and the the whole evening obviously left my sister in smiles. read more

Still a solid CEC for sure, but they are constantly in need of staff at the counter. It took TEN MINUTES to process just one customer today at the food ordering/play pass buying counter, with two employees both working the one customer. Other employees wandered around doing nothing. That was super annoying but the staff are all friendly. The main reason I'm writing an update is to express my disgust with the "pause" feature of the "all you can play" pass. We bought two 2-hour passes for my kid and his buddy. After an hour, they took a break to eat, using the pause feature. Then when they were back to playing, they wanted to pause again and it wouldn't let them. You are only allowed to pause ONCE and nobody said anything about that at the time of purchase, nor did I see any signage to this effect. This is just mean and cheap of them to only allow you to pause once. read more

You know having my children happy just one thing so that's why it will be three stars., However if I wouldn't have said that my children had fun, and it would be definitely one star. I am just totally recommending parents find another place to take your kids for birthday party. Sure, Chuck-E-Cheese has been a place that families have called birthday parties for years, but the incompetent staff is why I cannot give a 5-star rating. For one, they didn't provide any spoons for the ice cream, they didn't provide a knife or something to cut the cakes with, the attentiveness of the birthday associate was not there. there was a number of times that I saw her checking her Facebook on her phone vs assisting people. If I could get a refund for this entire event, I would take it. I just know that that's not going to happen, however rather than to spend $300 on an event like this, I please urge you parents to really think about whether or not Chuck-E-Cheese is a place that you want to spend three hours of your valuable day on your kids birthday with subpar customer service. read more

The oldest of the girls LOVES this place. She just turned 5 and little sister 2 years old. We have been to the Aurora location ( never again) and Englewood ( a little better but not by much). This one is by far the nicest one. The girls that ran our Party were nice and helpful. The kid that stamped us when we got there was polite and fun. Poorly managed and understaffed location. It's bigger than the other ones in the area, so my kids like this location, but I dread it. This is the closest one so we visit frequently. Pizza buffet is very mediocre and I wouldn't call it a buffet per say. They could definitely use more games! Games have very very very little payout with horrible terrible prizes even if you manage to save enough. Staff is so so, never too excited to be there, WiFi is miserably slow. Took my 3 kids to a Bday party on Sunday. The place was jamming with kids (and their adult caretakers) all running around screaming and having fun. Exactly why youo come here. I have not been to a Chuck E Cheese in 15 years, but very much the same as before. My kids all loved it. Yes it is chaotic and noisy, it is an arcade after all. Flashing lights and loud machines all competing for attention. I wonder what the games all say and do after hours (Toy Land style), probably very competitive. I did not notice a lot of games out of service, in fact every game the kids wanted to play worked just fine. Some times the games were hard to figure out on the first try or were frustrating (my oldest is only 5) But not to fear as there was always a more "compelling, must play" game right next to it. As for other reviews saying some of the games are dated, well t hey were all "new" to my kids and given the chance they would have played everyone. Tried a bite of the kids pizza and it was what you would expect (I make my own pizza all the time at home) but the kids all ate it without complaint. Personally I would not come here to eat as an adult. The big mouse of course made a appearance for the birthday party (one of 3 parties going on at the same time,so the mouse's attention was divided) The kids all loved the show and had a good time. Since this was for 5 year olds not surprising. Not sure t what age the magic wears off, but worked just fine now. I like the fact you get stamped (UV ink) with a number matching your kids stamp, so you can only leave with the ones you brought in. Ended up with 31 tokens left over, so we will be back again, especially now that it is colder outside. Food was great. Came for a birthday party. Most the machines didn't work they were all "temporary out of service". As we walked in no one was at the front to greet us or stamp or hands, there were 3 young workers working at the register. Very disappointed with the lack of care. As a mother I want to feel safe and let my kids be able to enjoy all the games not having to worry about someone trying to lure them away. I was concerned our neediness would annoy him, but he couldn't have been any more thoughtful in his interactions with us. We were never rushed even though a line formed behind us. Had my son Jon's party here and it was a blast! The hosts were phenomenal ! We had Sam as our Birthday host. Sam was great and so were the other hosts. Sweet pricing ( in my opinion)Sam was very helpful and mindful of time and super interactive , anticipated guests needs, and fun. I had one of our family members( adult) say the hosts were amazing and got everyone pumped for a good time. I definitely recommend this place for your little ones and Sam!
