This is always a nice theater. It's risen from its dark history and always has great prices for movies, generally with lots of availability. My only suggestion would be add some more staff as Service can be slow sometimes. read more

I've been wanting to watch this movie for obvious reasons. Needed to see yet another Vampire movie and the main character was Dracula. I did enjoy the movie and this was more on the romantic side. The ticket taker was very courteous and so was everyone at concessions. read more

The app is easy to navigate and user friendly to purchase tickets or order food and drink ahead of time. The staff is always nice and friendly, happy to help when asked. Came here with a friend to watch the movie, Cabrini and the premiere happened on International Women's Day. This is based on the real life of Mother Cabrini, the first U.S. citizen to be canonized a saint by the Catholic Church, on July 7, 1946. What an amazingly strong woman that accomplished so much in helping people all around the world-even though she was small and weak as a child and remained in delicate health throughout her life. To me this is a must see movie that showcases how just one individual can accomplish so much with sheer tenacity and a will to give to others! Colorado also has a Mother Cabrini Shrine located in the foothills of Golden, close to the Buffalo Bill Museum. read more

Movie time! We wanted to watch Bullet Train and they have matinee prices so we headed over. Plenty of parking. We were so early. Not many people in the theatre. The associates in the theatre were friendly and welcoming. Lots of previews and advertisements before the movie started. The reclining seats were comfy. And the aisles wide and the back wall separating the rows high. Made it more private. We didn't realize the seats could recline so much that it felt like we were almost laying down. It was nice. And the seat warmer was nice too. Has two temp levels. It got pretty warm on my lower back. It was a comfortable experience. Easy to order food through the app. Restrooms clean and smelled good. I do like this theatre. We will be back. read more

I came here to see Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire. The employees at the ticket counter were polite and friendly, the theatre was clean and the seats were soft, comfortable and reclined. Came from a few towns over where the mall is HORRIBLE, So we decided to check out the Century Aurora and XD. I have never been here before, so I thought seeing a screening at 7:00pm of "Civil war" would be great. However, I wish I avoided seeing this movie! The theater was quite busy, loud teenagers and hardly any parents. Me and my wife had to sit up close to the screen. It was empty at first, but it quickly filled up with teens and their phones. Before the previews even started they had music and loud noises playing! It was maddening! There was this one kid in front of me on his phone so I asked him to turn it off. But he was like 9 years old (And alone at the movies??!!) and did as I asked. The best part was when the sound cut out during the middle of the film! I thought there would be a riot. The girls next to me were going nuts. One yelled out "huh are you trying to f**k me in the ass? Huh?" I left fuming during the middle of all of the talking around me. What a waste. This location is not well kept; gummy bears always stuck on the screens, messy lobby, messy bathrooms, the seats are worn and uncomfortable in every auditorium including the XD screenings. The lights kept coming on every few seconds the last time we went as well. Concessions are poorly stocked with limited availability on selections posted on the menu. For the cost you are better off traveling a little further out to a theater that's more appreciated by its patrons and company. read more

The place is actually good, until you get to the theater room. The seats are supposed to be reserved, but everytime I go with my partner someone has already sat on the reserved seats. This movie theater needs better staff to be aware of this issue as people take their time to go and enjoy a movie, but small problems like these definitely make the experience less pleasant and causes people to think twice of going back. With all honesty, I wouldn't ever go back as this happened twice and it was really hard to convince the seated people that the seats were assigned to someone else aka me and my partner. read more

Just saw Oppenheimer in the XD theater and it was miserably hot. I asked them to turn the AC up to make it cooler but I think they did the opposite because it felt warmer. It was a really long 3 hours. The bathroom was even warmer so I don't think they had any AC on in there. I miss the good old days when you could go to a movie in the summer to get away from the heat. Unfortunately those days are gone. My other issue was the recliners. They're so awkward. When you tilt the chair back, your legs don't recline enough. Your legs are just dangling and you're laying all the way back. It's just very uncomfortable. I don't think I'll be going back anytime soon. read more

I used to love this theater and go here often. Even joined their movie club. However ever since COVID it's going downhill. Only open on the weekends, kettle corn is broken and has been for weeks. The management really doesn't care about customers and if you ask questions they just shrug. I had my backpack with after work and they wouldn't let me in with it. I offered they could look in it, but they refused and told me I had to leave it or couldn't go to the movie. I didn't want to leave my computer in my car in this area. I don't want it stolen. I've brought my backpack in other theaters, they just look in it and don't have a problem. If going to a Cinemark theater, I'd suggest Belmar Cinemark . It's much cleaner, has kettle corn and also is open 7 days a week. Sadly, I doubt I will be returning to Aurora Cinemark. read more

I am a fan! Ok, so pretty much in the entrance everything is your typical movie theater setup except for the fact that they have ice cream. Not all movie theaters have the sheer selection of delicious dairy delights as this particular movie theater. I seriously considered grabbing some to snack on but knowing my luck I would have it all over me. So I skipped the concessions while eyeing the array of snacks. The bathrooms were also typical. The one stall was out of toilet paper. That's fairly typical for a chain movie theater. It wasn't great, but it wasn't nasty either. The theater itself, though, was where I was thrilled. Now, I've been going to iPic which has the reclining seats, but these made iPics recliners seem tawdry in comparison! They were so squishy and they went so low! I sunk into my recliner and was impressed with the room in front of me as well - I could recline all the way and there still was plenty of room for people to pass in front of me if they so desired. And the seats were heated! I mean, I love heated seats! They were sooooo nice! The rest of the experience was fairly standard. The screen was great. The sound was great. The movie was fun. It was with mixed emotion I entered the building. A place that holds so many good memories for me and such horrific ones for others is once again open. Super Bowl Sunday was the perfect time for me to see a movie. Wasn't really interested in what was happening on the grid iron so I went to the silver screen instead. I had anticipated this moment for months. How would I feel? Would the friends I saw weekly behind the counter have come back? While I didn't personally know any of those who were fatalities or injured, I did know many of the employees and was concerned for their well-being. Once through the doors I could immediately see the differences of the renovated theater. It was wonderful to see although a lot of things had changed, some remained the same. The smiling faces of the people I knew were still there. Virginia the ticket taker now has a great chair and desk of her own. This familiar face started to take some of the anxiety away. I was greeted with a squeal of joy and a big hug from her. I was really glad she was there and ok. Next up the concessions stand; again I was greeted by a familiar face. Lily... our favorite friend who makes the best White Chocolate Mocha Frapachino's going was back in charge of the Starbucks in the lobby. Everything was bright, shiny and spotless. Here is the best deal going. You purchase for 6.00 each a reusable popcorn bucket and drink cup. Upon your returns for the rest of the year you can refill each of these for 3.00 each. Over a year seeing 1 movie a week x 2 people it figured out to be about a 624.00 savings at the concessions stand. Yes, you ready that right. Per person it's about a 6.00 savings per visit X 2 X 52 = 624.00. We have been doing this for years, it's a bit to get used to taking them with you each time but you do. Wash them out, throw them back in the car for next time. The theaters have been changed from Numeric to Alphabetic coding. We were on our way the Theater B, a smaller one in the back corner. The smell of new carpeting surrounded you the whole way there. Along the way I noticed some great new high back benches, and a neat little new edition was a party room. It was decorated in Happy Birthday theme and the table was set with hats and plates. It's a great idea to let someone clean up after the kid's party and leave your house in one piece. The new seating is great, big comfy leatheresque chairs that hold you nicely. The arms go completely up and do not impede your seating once lifted. My companion was nice enough to indulge my need for a little research and more than happy to participate in the following experiment: The snuggle factor; Ladies, I am happy to report they are lovely. The arms rise up and even back a little so there isn't that uncomfortable edge to deal with. They work for simple hand holding, a little arm around and pull you close action and even the ever popular "put your head on my shoulder". It all works. The seats also seem to be at a good height to help prevent the head in your way in front of you thing. Weren't a lot of people in the theater on Super bowl Sunday so that will have to be tested a bit more at a later date. Also now, a few times during the show I noticed an employee walk up each side of the theater and stand for a few moments, a security check of sorts. My overall experience was one of joy and peace to see that people I cared about were safe and again able to make their living. For my own selfish reasons I am glad the doors are once again open but I am also glad that a community that was so devastated months earlier is allowed to heal and move on with their lives. I am happy that the bad decision and actions of one person is not winning against an entire community. We cannot keep closing down places that bad things happen as much as we may like to; we must continue to peruse and enjoy our freedom as a community. read more

The seats are very comfortable, the theater is well maintained, and I can see matinee movies for $4.75. You can't beat it! Parking is easy and plentiful. This was my first time at this theater and I am quite impressed. The movie theaters were clean, the luxury loungers were comfy and they have a heating option! My friend actually fell asleep because he was so comfortable. The concessions stand was a little different as you had the option to grab the popcorn, nachos and drink yourself. This was soooooo trashy. There's mice in the theater and the people there are so rude. When I told the staff that there where mice they didn't care, when they moved us to a different theater the new theater was still incredibly dirty and the movie watchers in the theater where taking phone calls, watching pornography on there phone max volume, taking pictures with their flash on, and making inappropriate comments etc. Tbhhhhhhh this place is mad trashy just go somewhere else. I have been to this theater a few times before without much incident, but when I went this time, things were much different. We arrived about 25 minutes before our movie and got in line for the ticket, they were short-staffed (and it was easily identifiable because they had the off-duty police security sell us our tickets). It only took about 5 minutes to purchase the tickets and then we got in line for some snacks. There was a decently long line (that took forever) and only about a third of the customers were actually able to get food. We bought two ICEEs and called it good. Then we noticed they had a nacho option, so we asked the girl at checkout where we could get them, she told us to go to another spot for them. So we made our way over to the other station and asked the first employee we saw if we were in the right location for the Super Nachos. He said yes. We continued to wait for him to take our order and he helped out two other groups before we got irritated. We then moved over to where the line had apparently started to form. At this point, our movie had already started so we had to switch our tickets for another movie. After 45 minutes of being inside the movie theater, we finally made our way to our assigned seats and got to see our (less than thrilling) movie. 90% chance we will not be returning to this theater. read more

Almost all Indian movies(languages - Tamil, Telugu, Hindi) get screened here. Have watched many Tamil movies and Tamil dubbed Telugu movie (Bahubali - my first ever Telugu movie). The theatre is decent. Now very accessible with the opening of RTD R-line light rail - walkable distance from the Aurora Metro Center Station. Personally I like it when the movies get released in their bigger screen compared to the smaller ones. They some times have give aways for the premier shows of Hollywood movies (not sure if it is only for the kids movies). Once got a minion stress toy - we didn't get the tickets to the movie that we planned for, so ended up watching Minions :) The theatre has some history of violence and so we can always see about 2-3 cops present at the theatre. read more

The Good: the seats here are really comfortable! They recline into an almost completely flat position, which is great (if a little too nap-inducing)! They also have the option of heat, which is nice. Armrests raise between the seats, and that makes for a loveseat-like experience. The theater is a comfortable temperature, and the rows are wide. There are rails between every row of seats, which provides a private experience. The Bad: the place looks like it has recently been hit by a tornado: there is popcorn, trash, rappers and various debris everywhere! The bathrooms were also pretty messy. The employees, over all, seemed rather apathetic. Nobody really seem to care too much about what was going on. I did not receive any greetings, well wishes, or even guidance as to which direction I should be going. The Ugly: the concession area here is an absolute klusterfunk! Like really, really bad. There is no instruction as to how to enter the concession area, how/where to form a line, how to order items from the attendant, etc. It is very confusing, and completely packed. Perhaps one third of the people seemed to understand the system; another third just stood there dumbfounded; and the last third wandered around in complete befuddlement. It was nearly impossible, and took forever, to get through the concession line. The design is very poorly conceived and even more poorly executed. Conclusion: if you join the Cinemark rewards program and/or are willing to watch movies during the day to save a couple bucks, the pros outweigh the cons of this theater. The facility itself is very nice. This theaters' problems are definitely in the management and staff areas. The staff is unmotivated at best. Management definitely needs to address the poor flow and confusing nature of the concession area. More instructive labeling would be a good start. The prices here are pretty reasonable and the seats are really comfortable. This theater could be one of the better ones in the area with a little bit of effort! read more

I was scared to come here because of what I have heard from friends. But, this was a really good movie theatre. Tickets were cheap. We paid 14$ for me and my fiancé for now you see me 2. It was well maintained and the popcorn was amazing. The seats were nice and the restrooms were well maintained as well. There is ample amount of parking near the movie theatre and the mall. The security guy there was super friendly. I couldn't find my car keys so I went back to look inside the theatre so he came with me and helped me out and he even got our phone number and promised to call us if anything turned up. Fortunately, I found it very nice, clean and modern. There is plenty of parking and there is a security cop outside and inside. Seats are comfortable and spacious and the auditorium is very wide. The new luxury reclining seats are amazing! Several theaters have similar set ups but these had softer cushioning, smoother electronic controls, and something I've never seen at any other theater: heated seats! As someone who has to bring a sweater into the theater because I'm always to cold, this feature just made this theater my #1 choice. On top of that, they've added partition walls between the rows which provides a much quieter and more private experience. read more

The new seats are great, however it's "reserved seating" which basically means you better by your tickets 6 hours before your movie or you're not going. On 2 occasions we went online to check if there were seats available, there were - and yet we arrive and there's nothing. So century 16 is our home theatre, my fiancé and I have been going here for over 10 years. Our favorite thing? That it's still relatively cheap, especially compared to other theatres. Except you can't pick up tickets upon arrival because they're all sold out anyways. So you have to go online and pay "online fees" so you may as well just go to the expensive theatres. I'm extremely disappointed with this reserved seating stuff. It's ridiculous. Again, better buy those tickets hours or days before. read more

Theater sound was great! Felt the seats shaking at some points. Reasons for the 3 stars instead of 5, smelt of burnt popcorn when we walked in, which means it tastes like burnt popcorn. Seats are nice and reclined which is the reason we picked this theater, though the butt sinks really low if you want your feet out all the way; and being 5 2", I couldn't see. Even sitting normally in the very last row, I had to look over peoples head to read anything at the bottom of the screen. Not bad for matinee prices, but wouldn't go in the evening. read more

I don't wear purses. I wear backpacks. After 5 years visiting the movie theater I got stopped with medium sized backpack and been told, that I have to leave it in my car. People were passing check in with messenger bags, water bottles, bigger purses stuffed, which were bigger than my backpack and were allowed in and because I wear backpack because I have a kid, which was with me also his friend, I had to leave it in a car. I understand that you have policies, but if you want to segregate people, I'm not the one to try your bad mood on. Shift management is completely incompetent to uphold policy and pick one person in crowd is just rude. Be sure not to visit them in future because of their racist behavior. If you want to uphold your policies do it to everyone and do not pick people in the crowd. Either you will uphold the same policy for everyone or for nobody. That easy read more

Mostly full except towards the bottom, guy sitting down there threw up , girl comes in 10 mins later and shakes two cans on floor, movie was already almost 20 mins late starting and then another 30+ people start trying to come in and walking thru the mess...then 30 mins late then start credits. If you get past the stigma this place unfortunately holds due to it's tragic history, it's the best place to see a movie in Denver. Tickets are less than 5 dollars and if you go after 6 they're still only 7. That's crazy nowadays. I love the self service concessions so I don't have to wait in line. This is a standard movie theater. The selection is great and the seats, sounds, and screen clarity were all good.

This place is always packed, even more so on the weekends. The seats are comfortable and the tickets are cheap, the food is about the same price and quality as any other movie theatre. My problem with this place is the rude clientele, people trying to cut in line, throwing popcorn and soda all over the counters and floor. No regard at all for the employees or other customers.
