Grandma says never approved this so either this is complete fraud or they prey on elderly and trick them. Took hours and hours and hours to fix. What a disaster! Worse yet, we found out a day before a dermatology appointment to care for an important skin cancer problem and had to delay it. Can't see how these people can live with themselves. My wife had called and spoke with their rep for about two hours on signing up for her and our daughter. Everything went OK - when the cards came in - ONLY MY WIFE was on it - NOT our daughter. My wife called back and spoke to same agent... - First Excuse: You didn't tell me about your daughter. I am new to this and do not know how to make change. Will have to figure it out - may have to have supervisor do this - Second Excuse: We have ALL call recordings. We can find out what was said. My wife was happy to hear and said Good... then you would know that I had asked for my daughter and I - Not for my husband as he in insured from work. - Third Excuse: We don't have previous phone recording. Supervisor is busy and will call back. My wife asked, on previous call you said you have ALL call recordings, what happen to that? Rep said, I didn't say anything like that. Supervisor will call you. In short, they messed up, they won't own up to their mistake and if we get penalty for not having insurance, they DON'T CARE. I find this really amazing that every time you asked for Supervisor, they are either in meeting or on call or not available at this time.... WHY? What happens to the disclaimers they play before taking calls that "..all calls are recorded..." If ALL calls are recorded, why they cannot find the one where they had screwed up account setup?!? - Will see what happens - will keep posting it here... Hope I am just not heating my head to a wall!!! read more

I was, unknowingly left uncovered for two months after getting an email from century benefits charging my card and saying I was covered. I was out of work for 2 months and needed affordable interim healthcare coverage and signed up for Obamacare. Century called the next day (not sure how they got my number) and seemed to have taken care of the whole process in a day or so. I was quite happy until just now. My new health insurance has kicked in so I called healthcare.gov to cancel my obamacare plan. I tried calling century too on several occasions, but after the initial sale they don't answer the phone. Anyway, healthcare.gov just told me that my plan went through but was cancelled on the same day. I was never notified of this by Century and in fact their website still says I'm covered, so basically I've been walking around for 2 months thinking I had health coverage when I didn't. This could have been a disaster but ended up being ok since I didn't get sick or anything, but if I were you I wouldn't trust Century Benefits. read more

I was sitting in a Starbucks store a few months ago ranting and raving to a friend about how awful my current medical/dental/vision insurance policy was and how my premium went way up, and benefits way down, during open enrollment. Lucky for me, Joel and Andrew happened to be sitting next to us. Of course they couldn't help but over hear, I was really on a rampage. They politely interrupted and told me the plan I was on, it was a particular group plan, was one of the worst they've ever seen, and gave me their business cards if I ever wanted to stop by (their office is right next to the Starbucks store), or contact them. A few weeks later I did. While I wasn't able to change my policy at the time (pre-existing conditions), I contacted them again last month and am now signed up for a new plan that will save me at least $600/mo. with extremely better coverages. YAY! Joel also told me about an accident insurance rider (I think that's what it's called) that I could get for about $45/mo. that everyone should ask their broker about. After talking to the sales person and discovering that they were just entering my info on the healthcare dot gov website. They sent me a email requiring that i approve a separate supplemental insurance policy. That i did not request. At that time I told them, what whey were doing seemed like a scam and was not interested in doing business with them. now they are processing a payment through my bank that i am having to fight. be careful these people will scam you. read more

This review is WAY past due! A few years ago when we had to sign up with Obamacare it was so unbelievably confusing and frustrating. I spent hours and hours on hold being transferred and not getting anywhere. Then I was getting calls from benefits companies and for some reason Christy's is the one I took. I wasn't even clear what her companies role was but I asked her a million questions and she was the only person who could answer them and take over and help me. OMG! She was an angel. The next year I screwed things up again and you know who was there to help? My angel Christy! Seriously, she is so great. I can email her and get a quick response, I have freaked out only to have her calm me down and fix what was wrong. I would be in a world of hurt with health insurance if not for Christy and I still don't even know how she found me, I guess when you sign up for Obamacare benefits companies get your info, I'm glad she got mine! Be very careful. I make descent money but work for a small employer, I asked them to help me with the healthcare.gov marketplace since there were so many plans and options. They asked me what I made yearly and told me to fill out a form declaring my income and that I agreed to let the, be my boker. They however did not use the financial I formation I gave them they entered an amount exactly at the poverty line so they could say I qualified for a subsidy and make a commission from the sale of benefits. Now taxes roll around and I am, stuck with a 1000 dollar tax bill thanks to their lies and deceit. Avoid at all costs, when the bill comes from Uncle Sam you will get screwed. I would give 0 stars if it was an option. Bad customer service; they make mistakes and don't apologize. I currently don't have legitimate health insurance because they used an incorrect address when switching my health plan. The first month's premium was sent to an incorrect address, which I didn't receive, and didn't pay because I never received it, so my health insurance was cancelled. Every time I called to try to sort it out I had to talk to a different person, and they wouldn't call me back! So frustrating! I think they would look in my file, see the mistake, then say someone would call me back, and no one ever would. So, I currently have no health insurance. Thanks Century Benefits! Coming from California Health Market place, i was in a big surprise choosing Century Benefits as my broker, they added the wrong info, so my coverage got delayed and delayed. Very frustrating for a company they are suppose to know what they are doing. You had to constantly go after it yourself, instead of them doing the work for you. Now keep my fingers crossed, my best advice, make an appointment with a health market person for Oregon, go in yourself, sign up on the spot, and you get your card in the mail after a few weeks.
