The food is a bit middle of the road and humdrum, and our "hot" beverages were tepid at best. I recommend getting a drink over getting coffee, all things being equal. We'll see if it survives the closing of the Van Gogh Experience, but it's easy to see how with the right management, and maybe a slightly gussied up menu, this could become a destination and not just a stop-off.

Peckhams is under new ownership this year, and we are loving what we've seen with the changes, so far. It is the same local basement bar atmosphere we love to love [I'm talking decent beer prices ("i pay less for a Wolf Hollow here than AT Wolf Hollw"), sports on TV, a pool table and space to be with your people] but with more UMPH and interest than recent years. I was THRILLED to see a live music scheduled throughout the year and have been excited by other events they've shared on social media, including offering a Turkey Dinner for anyone who may not have family and wanted to come by to eat and celebrate together on Thanksgiving. Parking is along the access roads (Ashmore Avenue and Fehr Avenue). The concert we enjoyed tonight was by a Ukrainian group called Dakha Brakha. Wearing strange colorful outfits, playing numerous percussion instruments plus accordions and a cello, they created beautiful harmonies and wild animal sounds.
