We visited here Friday night. The bartender, server, owner, were all very personable . The best part was the food. I ordered pan fried Walleye with German potato salad-absolutely delicious! My wife ordered whitefish deep fried, also with German potato salad. The breading on the fish was very light. The filets were moist and tender! To call this place a "supper club" is a bit of a stretch. It's more like a bar with some tables and a salad bar. There are no linens on the tables which kind of surprised me. The first thing I noticed is there was no true separation from the bar area to the dining area. There are huge open arches in between so you could hear everything going on at the bar while you were eating dinner. I ordered the walleye and my husband ordered grouper I believe. The amount of food we got was surprisingly small compared to other supper clubs in Wisconsin. We had to laugh when the server brought out our fish because she set my husband's plate down and said "here's your salmon"... And we both started laughing, and she said "I really don't know my fish!" The salad bar was very minimal and they only offered one type of soup which was some kind of chowder. It was a little too fishy tasting for me (and I like fish). We both agreed we wouldn't be in a hurry to return here soon which is disappointing because it's only about 15 minutes from our home. It might be a nice place to grab lunch, assuming they're open for lunch. read more

Drinks were very good though sometimes the tenders seemed a little out of place though very nice and in good spirits. Ribeye was a little thin for my liking but still delicious. The salmon was fantastic too! Enjoyed the soup that was available. read more

This would have been a five star plus, however, the waitstaff was a bit to be desired. The girls were nice enough, but they never came back and asked us how everything was or if we needed anything and of course we did.... The food was absolutely exceptional !! This venue has slapped a "Supper Club" label on its name, however in my humble opinion, it misses the mark by a wide margin. The bar is friendly, casual, and accommodating. The prices are reasonable. They have Karaoke and Trivia in the dining room on selected nights. The broasted chicken is good as is the salad/soup bar. The ambience leaves a lot to be desired. read more

We've been coming here for more than 10 years, back when Kenny and Mary owned it, and had great food and lots of fun! It's different now with Betsy and her team but still very good food and still lots of fun! And I finally found a place (other than Arby's ) that had strawberry jelly to serve with my Poppers. Raspberry is also very good. Can someone else accept my challenge to also offer strawberry or raspberry jelly with their cream cheese jalapeño poppers? read more

Bartender service was great. The waitress took our food order, told us what table and we never saw her again. Ordered prime rib (medium rare)and soup & salad bar. Steak was lukewarm and very fatty. Salad bar was ok and there wasn't much left in the soup craft, when we asked for more soup, we were told that's all there is‍. They did salvage a cup of lukewarm soup for us. Horrible service! We were seated for a while, and the servers walked past us multiple times. After about 15 minutes of waiting for one of them to come up to our table, we tried to get their attention by saying "Excuse me" to which the server looked directly at us and walked away. When she actually came to the table we told her that we were ready to order. She said okay and walked into the kitchen where we could hear her talking very rudely about us to another server. After five minutes or so waiting for her to come back, we ended up leaving. I feel it is worth noting that it was not busy at all in the dining area and that there were a couple of tables that had been served already. read more

I came here with my family for dinner last weekend. We waited over an hour to be seated (there were plenty of open tables for my group of 5) and our order was taken before we were able to sit down. I've been at supper clubs before and understand that ordering before sitting at the table is somewhat of a norm, however it still took about another 20 minutes or so after we sat down to finally get our food. I had ordered a cheeseburger and asked for it to be medium. Thank goodness I cut my burgers in half before eating them because the meat was raw. It was so raw that the top bun was pink in some spots. Not to mention that the bottom bun was drenched in grease and was paper thin. I sent the burger back and was given one that was cooked more, but still too pink to be considered medium. I sent it back for the third time and it came back burnt to a crisp and had no flavor- I didn't even know it was possible for a cheeseburger to not have any flavor. We also had 3 waitresses taking care of us. 2 of them were very good, but the third was not. For one, after one of the other waitresses had asked us if we needed any refills, the third waitress (who had been standing right next to her) asked us again if we needed any refills, seconds after we had just been asked. This was also the same waitress who took forever to seat us. I will not be coming here ever again. read more

Wasn't able to make it to CE for New Year's Eve, but stopped on Jan 2nd. I was going to order one of my go-to favorites --pan fried gator -- and Betsy the owner convinced me to order one of her New Year's Eve features from that menu. I was completely blown away with the seafood linguini. The quality, presentation and value of this meal was better than any Italian restaurant you would have had this dish at. The short trip out to Larsen is well worth the drive to experience the creativity of this restaurant. Great job Betsy and entire team! read more

We came here with one of our good friends and regular to the Century Elm. We were seated almost immediately after stepping foot inside on a Saturday evening. I had a one of their burgers, which was well seasoned and cooked to perfection. My wife had the surf and turf which looked amazing. We shared an appetizer of deep fried gator. Yes!, you heard that correctly, gator. You don't find many places that have gator especially in the north woods of Wisconsin. If not for our friend, we would have never found this little gem. The order was for the special, stuffed tenderloin, "Steaks", the bartender said " is their specialty" When the order arrived 40 min later our waitress said "Oh, he didn't stuff it?" Supper Club Tour stop was not a disappointment. Staff was very friendly both behind the bar and table side. Mixed drinks and tap beer reasonably priced and hit the spot. Ribeye ordered medium rare was a bit on the rare side, so you may want to specify by color/temp. Ribs were fall-off-the-bone good. Broasted chicken a bit bland. This place has ok food but don't expect a table quickly. They will keep you at the bar and expect you to buy drinks until anything they serve taste good. I overheard the owner say, "they left after waiting only 40 minutes, they didn't even try. " As regulars, we were accustomed to a long wait but tonight they pushed our limits. By the time we got a table and placed an order....1 hour and 45 mintes later....they were out of what we wanted to order. There are too many other supper clubs around. The "Farmer's Burger" was easily one of the best burgers I have ever tasted, and probably the cheapest. Great casual supper club atmosphere.
