My go to place for bowling! Ever since they are under new management, the whole center has constantly been improving with new lanes, new flooring, new arcades, and new food options! On 11/10, I called Century Bowling to ask if they could reserve two lanes for a party of six, and the manager was extremely rude to me. His tone was aggressive for no reason, and when I told him he was being rude, he backed off a little but the attitude was still unnecessary. I simply asked a polite straightforward question, and it did not require the nasty response I received. I had him on speaker phone, and the two ladies in my office overheard the entire conversation. When I hung up, they immediately commented on how rude he was, so I know it wasn't just me. I've used this place before for a party, but after this experience, I will never patronize them again. read more

We were looking for something fun to do on a Monday night and decided hey let's go bowling. We haven't been there in quite a few years, it's definitely had a facelift. Amazing price for the night! Played 2 games. Staff is friendly, even joked with my 8 year old on shoes. Go in there with a smile and the staff with treat you right. The food was fast. Wasn't even done bowling the second frame before it was ready. Specials were appetizing. For a family of 4, it was under $50 for 2 games and food. This bowling alley is very old, but for a cheap and fun times with friends this is the place to go in the area. I admit I was a little apprehensive when I walked in, but everyone was extremely friendly. For people who are avid bowlers, the charm of a few decades ago might be valued or might be a turn off. I called in for a reservation for a party of 8 at 9pm. They said "it'll be no problem" and said we would have two lanes.When we arrived they said they were full and couldn't take anymore people and we had to leave. We had some time to kill moving from one hotel to another and I found this place right in the middle, and only 15 minutes away from me currently. I love the atmosphere of locally owned ma and pa bowling alleys and this one did not disappoint. Games and shoe rentals are cheap, the facility is kept clean, and not only is the food amazing, but it too is inexpensive. They run daily specials and have the best and most friendly staff. This place was straight up ass. The service was terrible, they took 30 minutes just for the food to arrive. Not only that, but the the bowling balls took too long to come to us. And to top it all off, I was going to buy myself a snack from the vending machin, and when I got it, it was 2 months expire. The front counter staff are kind and very courteous. The snack bar staff are very attentive, and the food items are cooked to perfection. Contacted Century lanes to inquire about their hours and pricing and was hung up on twice by an Eric. When I called back to ask for a manager or supervisor I was met by an attitude and hung up on yet again!! Then I was called by Eric who handed the phone off to Bill who asked me what my problem was and what I needed and where I was located. Here I am, a disabled Air Force vet, trying to take my family here, and these people with their very rude customer service will NOT GET A RECOMMENDATION FROM ME FOR THIS PLACE EVER! I'm glad those calls were recorded so I have the proof of everything that just took place. I'm also glad I found out how they were before even stepping foot here. Definitely the most affordable bowling alley in the area. Seems to be family owned and the staff is SO accommodating, patient, and friendly. =) Very kid friendly. The alley is slightly outdated, but I say it simply adds to its charm. They have a snack bar and serve an 8-slice pepperoni pizza for $6.15 - awesome! Their bowling balls are organized, and weights are identifiable by color. That made finding the light weight ball easy - just look for pink! =) We were just visiting the area, but I'd definitely go back. read more

First of all...I've always seen this from Pembroke but never bothered with it. Till, our date night a few nights ago. It was our first time. The place, although looks old, it was for the most part well-kept. The food prices were reasonable. We were able to do unlimited bowling with shoe rentals for $13/person. That was fantastic. They have this PINK pin, that if you strike with the PINK pin in the mix, then you can go up to the front desk and claim your free prizes. I won a free large drink and free onion rings. How cool is that? Although our lane 22 kept acting up, we did not let it bother us...we just used the downtime to enjoy the scenery and mingled with fellow bowlers. This is a very neat place, they have an arcade area as well. They have lockers and restrooms. The staff were wonderful and pleasant. Shocking, since most of the youth I've encountered in my day to day life are sort of rude and stuff. But these young kids were superb and pleasant. :) This is a family oriented venue; we got there and there were tons of families with littles ones as well playing. We will be back! read more

Umm yea I'm here wit my cousins, I ordered the food before I started bowling and it wasn't done for anther 30 minutes (they did not say that there would be a wait at all) , i bowled 7 times so I go up there she said okay 6 minutes I set a 10 minute timer it's still not done !!! Atp i wanted my refund but I was hungry .. food still took like 10 more minutes after the timer went off ... this why I don't go bowling now , also food is not great at all , def wouldn't recommend unless your on a budget lol. read more

We moved to the area and wanted something to do. We decided to join a bowling league and Century is only a mile from the house. We were invited to join the league and are now on our third. The place is family owned. Everyone is awesome, learn your name immediately and you feel like you belong. The food is great! On Fridays there is a senior social for anyone over 55. We get a snack, drawings for money, red head pin strike money and so much more. It is great to meet so many other people like you and become friends in a new area when you are older. If you ever get lonely, come on down. Make friends. Don;t tell me no because you have never bowled before, because i hadn;t and I am having the time of my life. read more

Simple, friendly, oh so cheap. This place is a hidden gem. It is no frills bowling fun. Don't expect lasers and music like you might at the typical AMF but this place offers the basics. For me, that's all I need. This place looks frozen in time in the year 1990, but I actually kind of like that unintentional retro feel. The worst place I have ever been for a bowling party. My son's birthday party was booked a month out for 1:00 on a Saturday and we got called at 9:00pm the Friday before saying it had to be changed to 4:00 on Saturday. Seriously? The manager conveniently just left before we got there. There was not one single 6 pound ball in this place, which is standard for kids. We received two people to check on our group...one to deliver pizzas and one to deliver soda, otherwise nothing. Wonderful family owned bowling ally. Staff was wonderful, pizza was great and not the typical greasy bowling ally food you think of. Went with 4 adults and three kids 5 years and younger.
