At the end of the visit we realized he gave great advice that allowed us to fully enjoy our visit. The vibe and ambiance was really good and had the true arcade feel. People were laughing and having lots of fun just like us. There were people enjoying food and drinks and relaxing in groups in the dining area, playing duck pin bowling, video games including guitar hero, playing pinball, skeetball, basketball shoot and football throwing games. I mean there was real fun being had by all including us. Didn't have food but had beer and played pinball and video games. I am basing my review on the activities that me and my daughter experienced. There is lots of parking at the event and it is free.. which is great to see.... Walking in, we were shocked at how expensive everything was. You are literally spending $50+ per hour per person. We did the mini golf. The course was very small. 18 holes in the dark with glow in the dark balls. It started out great but when we reached around hole 6 a group of 12-15 teenagers came in and started speed running through the course.. they were hitting their balls all over the place. My daughter and I had to step aside for and let them speed their way through. After that there were a couple of older kids that were hitting their balls very hard and they were flying off the course.. one of those balls almost hit my daughter in the head.. they really need some supervision in the mini golf room. Otherwise somebody is going g to get seriously injured... Next we want to the arcade section. My daughter loved the VR experience items. But at $5+ dollars for 5 mins.... It adds up really fast. They have a little store where you can get prizes in exchange for tickets. But the big problem is that there are very few machines that actually give you tickets when you play them. There were a couple of claw machines that gave you a chance to win 100'or so tickets. But when you need thousands of tickets to buy anything.. you are literally spending a lot of money. Most of the machines were claw based machines where you could win a prize or the coin push machines which are hard to win anything out of. Overall, I was not a big fan of Apex. It is very expensive for what you get.. you can easily spend over $100 per hour in this place to try all the different things. Unless you have a big promo or coupon that gives you a huge discount.... It is not worth the money. The other big issue is that there is very little supervision of all the kids running around. Most of the staff look like they are high school students working a summer job. There is no admission, you pay by the ride OR you can get a ride pass that provides you with unlimited rides (except the arcade). They have go karts for kids and adults, bumper cars, a ride where you get in an inflatable "kart" and bump others and shoot water, a ride called the " Disk'O" where you sit and it twirls you around while you go back and forth on a ramp, and they have a playground area for the kids. They have this mini coaster called "Python Pit", and you have been warned . They were in the process of expanding the area to include what looked like a multi- ramp go kart ride. There is a snack bar, but it closed around 7p (but the park stayed opened to 9 ) and the vending machines weren't working. Had to take a star off for that. (Free water was provided). They had plenty of benches (some covered) for you to sit and observe (as I did) and a covered pavilion with tables and benches for you to host a party. All in all, it was okay, but they need to keep the snack bar open until at least 30 minutes before closing AND please fix the busted vending machines!

From 12-5 pm on Tuesdays, two people can play a round of mini golf for $10 total. Such a deal! We had a great time. The course is fun and challenging. It's also covered by trees so you can still enjoy playing on hot sunny days. Now, the trees also drop needles, which need cleaned off the course. The only "odd" part of playing there is that you have to buy a plastic card for $1. They then load your $10 onto the card and you take it to the mini golf booth to have swiped so you can play a round of golf. You keep the card and refill it to enjoy their other amusements or more rounds of golf that day or any day you return. They have sufficient free parking.
