There are several old beautiful pines and other trees. We also had one very tall tree that was dead, another with a disease and many dead and broken branches in several trees. Daniel and his team worked on this for 4 days, as weather permitted. All of the trees were very tall and over grown. They trimmed them all up and removed broken and dead branches. Took down 2 trees, cleared 2 stumps and did a great job cleaning up afterwards. Some of the clearing required their bucket truck due to the height of the trees. We also liked that they used their chipper on site as they worked. We love the difference this has made, and so do our neighbors

Two separate technicians from this company attempted the programming. The first technician had no issue getting the car into program mode--I was standing next to the vehicle and clearly heard the audible beeps confirming this. However, the second technician was unable to complete the process and claimed the issue was likely due to a faulty door actuator. At the end of his visit, the second technician also mentioned having trouble cycling the ignition switch--something I have never experienced before in all my time owning the car. It was immediately after his visit that I began noticing issues with the ignition. I waited over 24 hours for a response after sending both an email and an inquiry through their website. When I finally received a call from Kent, the owner, around 10 AM the following day, I hoped for a productive conversation. Instead, I was met with hostility. Rather than listening, Kent became immediately argumentative and dismissive, insisting that the problem must be due to my car having 152,000 miles and a "worn key." He repeatedly talked over me, refused to consider the timeline of events, and took zero responsibility for the potential damage caused by his technicians. When I pointed out that I had personally witnessed the first technician get the vehicle into program mode without issue, Kent accused me of making false accusations and even asked if I was calling his tech a liar--at which point I said yes, because I was standing there and knew what I saw and heard. I even offered to bring my 14-year-old son, (who the car is actually for and has started the car many times prior to this event) to attest to there being no previous issues. Kent wasn't interested--he continued to interrupt me and repeated multiple times that "this conversation is over," showing absolutely no interest in resolving the matter professionally. His only suggestion was to "fix" the issue for $70 an hour, again without acknowledging any fault or responsibility on their end. This was an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience. I understand that things don't always go as planned, but when a business owner refuses to listen, speaks over a customer, and offers no accountability or professionalism, it says everything you need to know. Based on my experience, I would not recommend A to Z Lock and Key to anyone looking for honest, respectful, and reliable service.

I recently purchased a home where they had installed a furnace 4 years ago. I soon found out the standard size of 14x20x1 doesn't fit and is why I say attempted. The standard size is too big! It takes some odd size that I can't find anywhere locally, 13 1/2x19 1/2x7/8. I called them and the guy I spoke with said he didn't know anything about it. He said he needed to come by to look at it, so he would stop by the next day to take a look. He never came over and it's been at least a week and he never even bothered to call me back. I did a search on Amazon and it's the only place you can find them, and they're $53.88 for ten of them! I'm on a budget like everyone else and being forced to pay this much money upfront for a year's worth of filters isn't something I should have to do. Best advice: before purchasing any furnace or purchasing a home, do yourself a huge favor and make sure you can just buy a standard furnace filter off the shelf! Original quote for the…read moreroof was 17k but was told that they'd need to check pricing on the shingles since they were a special order. Over came back 10k over what we were originally quoted. We were in love with the look however and decided to move forward and hold off on the garage roof. In the original consultation we asked the consultant about the roof over our kitchen which was a low grade roof. He assured us that they could shingle over it. The shingles were a 10 week minimum order since they were special order. The roofer arrived with little warning since they were scheduled to do another job but still we had guest coming in August and it was July we needed to get the roof finished. The final day of the project there was a few issues the roofers ran out of ridge shingles and a crazy rainstorm. After the rain died down the roofers cleaned up and said they'd have to finish another day. They took all the extra shingles and left. Our contract said they would repair a few of the exhaust pipes that were short, leave all excess materials and mentioned nothing about not finishing the roof over the kitchen. I got a call the following week that the ridge shingle were ordered and that they would have to wait for them to come in.. but we still had exposed ridges and it had been threatening to rain so I asked the office when the exposed ridge would be covered.. a week later someone arrived to that. I also went to remove a satellite on our kitchen roof that had been disconnected and left haphazardly and noticed the roof over the kitchen hadn't been completed. Another call no eta on the shingles and now they were telling me they didn't do flat roofing. It took a MONTH to get ridge coverage and the foreman said that they would check out the roof over the kitchen when we came back it wasn't completed nor did the company call me. Be very careful before you enter contact with this company service and answers were less than great and they took all the extra supplies when it was stated they belonged to us
