If I could give a 0 I would. The customer service is terrible. The hold times are ridiculous. We have tried for the last week to get internet and the modem set up. I have literally spent my entire day trying to get the internet and modem to work. 45 minutes on hold and then 45 minutes talking to someone and then they hung up on me without a resolution. I have chatted with 3 different people and still have no internet. A technician came out today also and still no internet. I have never been more frustrated with a company before. read more

I keep getting spam email from a company called marketing=ledglow.com and there is no way to block them using the Centurylink spam filter. I have made multiple complaints and the email just keeps coming. Centurylink customer service has provided no help. read more

Centurylink needs to fire their president. They are consistently a no show when you have an appointment with them to install a new modem that they have already charged me for!!! They NEVER show up on time when they told us would arrive 8-5 pm. I setup two different addresses for install one new home for a friend and one existing which was mine. NO ONE SHOWED UP AT EITHER ADDRESS AND NO CALL. We waited 3 weeks for them to show and couldn't go to work waiting for them. I love their tech support and computer repair. The rest are absolutely horrible. The board of directors should fire everyone except tech support. Obviously management doesn't care since its been a perpetual problem. I just called and held another 45 for help and they cut me off again. What do you have to do to get help with this company? read more

Tried to upgrade service and they disconnected me instead. Took 5 days to get internet service back then they tried to charge me a connection setup fee. Had to spend over 10 hours over the 5 days arguing with support just to not have to pay to get my internet reconnected. read more

If you live in an area they serve and have a choice, DON'T EVER use CenturyLink! We never had their service installed, but we have had nothing but problems with them (we ordered but they wouldn't install without charging nearly $100/hour because it was a new home, something they didn't tell us in advance). They've now told us it will be 3 months before we get our deposit refunded. This has been going on for more than a month already! read more

I have been a customer with this company for over 10 years. They do not want to keep customers and have rude customer service reps that badmouth their own corporate offices and then try and talk you into other systems (add a phone, change satellite providers) etc. The rep gives a lecture about how much internet costs with other companies, argues and is snotty about what other reps do on the phone. The service itself, the internet goes in & out and is extremely slow and no, we do not the slowest package available. I have to constantly call about the internet going off and on and all the tech says is "I see errors on the line." Very hard to run a business out of the home with a service that is unreliable. The only thing they have been consistent about is internet that is not up to par. read more

Worst company ever!! We have not had internet for the past four months. They still have not repaired our service and continue to send bills. We have scheduled repair and they have never showed up! They first told us it was our modem which was the problem. We bought a new one and worked with them to get it set up and they told us the new one did not work and to return it. We returned it for a new one and tried to set it up with them and it did not work again. They finally decided it was their equipment. I set up a service appointment and took a day off work. They never showed up and have not fixed it and still are sending us bills. Worst company and worst service ever!!! read more

They have a monopoly on internet on where I live and they act like it. The internet is terrible. 5 out of 8 mgs is not 80% and when is 80% acceptable? I FINALLY get a serviceman to come fix it so I had to take a day off work and they didn't show. Supposed to come between 8 and noon. I didn't get any phone call and every time I called them all they said was they were on their way. I now have to take off two days of work to have a person come to my house and tell me there is nothing they can do because of where I live. They are supposed to come first thing the next day which is between 8 and noon. Sound familiar? Exceedingly tempted to disconnect and have no internet than to put up with this garbage and to pay money to deal with an awful product with worse customer service. Not calling was extremely RUDE! We have our phone service with them, it's not like they didn't have the number. EXTREMELY DISPLEASED! read more
