Diana knew Exactly what to do and was extremely informative ! Before too long Cesar was at my New Home measuring all the areas with extreme accuracy. I was informed of the amount of flooring needed and given a more than Reasonable Price. Once I agreed and gave them a deposit they had my New Flooring Ordered. Miguel and His Associate were next to deliver my stunning flooring so that it would acclimate to the temperature in my home and the color was Perfect. Finally, I had the Pleasure of Meeting Mario and another Young gentleman who were there to begin the process of ripping out the old dirty carpet, remove some travertine, prep the floor and then lay the new Wood flooring. Each and every piece of wood was laid with care and the Edges meeting the Travertine were Seamless ! I cannot Say enough Good Things about this Fantastic Flooring Company and Everyone there ! It has now been four years and my floor is completely broken up, buckled in some placed and full of holes and dents. It's a mess. Even though the Flooring had a 10 year guarantee, the manufacturer is ignoring me, and best hardwood floors will not do a thing about it. Definitely do not shop here they do not guarantee their products. They are very difficult to deal with.

Unfortunately, one of the toilets has never functioned properly--it constantly runs and struggles to flush. Despite John returning several times, the problem was never resolved. We later hired John for other odd jobs, including installing a garbage disposal and fixing water backup into our dishwasher. As always, he was punctual and friendly. However, the garbage disposal was installed incorrectly, which caused new problems. He also accidentally caused some minor floor barrier damage while working in that area. To his credit, he offered to repair the damage right away, but I declined because I appreciated his willingness to help. The next day, when the water backup issue continued, we called him back. To our surprise, he asked for MORE money to revisit the SAME problem he had originally been paid to fix. Even after paying again, the issue still wasn't fixed. We ultimately had to hire another company, who immediately discovered that John had not removed the knockout plug or connected the dishwasher properly--something very basic for that type of installation. Overall, while John is personable and punctual, I cannot recommend him due to repeated problems, additional charges for unresolved issues, and ultimately needing to pay another professional to correct mistakes. Seems like an overall good guy trying to make a living but he needs to take his customers into better consideration if he would like to keep them.

Following that fiasco, it was recommended that I go to Sparks Tile and Stone. Immediately upon entering the store, I was warmly greeted by Kathy. Who took her time and gave me quite a "tile 101" education, which was greatly appreciated. She gave me so much to think about, I came back the next day and Ashley helped me, as Kathy was on her lunch break. With her help AND the knowledge, I'd gained previously from Kathy, I was able to swiftly select the tile and make my purchase. I'll drive back tomorrow to pick-up my order. It's a 60-mile round-trip from my home (Carson City) to Sparks Tile and Stone and I'm happy to do it for the incredible service I receive here. What a fantastic and friendly business!!! Very happy with how this project turned out! It was a slow start. I had called Jaymes and left a…read moremessage telling him about the project. It took him a month to return my call but that didn't bother me because anything construction related is so much in demand right now, I was just happy to get a call back. Plus it worked out timing wise because when he returned my call, I was ready for the countertop portion of my project. Jaymes was quick to come over and take measurements and he recommend a few places for me to look at slabs. The next day, I had a slab picked out and he sent me the estimate. Once I paid the deposit, he had the countertops installed within 2.5 weeks. The turnaround time amazes me because I was expecting it to take at least a mont, again because of all the construction needs right now. I was not completely happy with the installation crew. They told me they were going to have to make a seams down the middle of the counter and backsplashes, which surprised me because Jaymes had told me the seams would only be in the corners. But after speaking to Jaymes about not being satisfied with multiple visible seams, he was able to accommodate my requests and put the seams in the corners. Also, the installation crew dented a cabinet while they were installing. The handles that were installed later covered the dent up so, no harm. Overall, I am very happy with the quick turnaround and the quality of the work. Jaymes did a great job lining up the grain patterns on the slabs so the backsplash matched the direction of the countertop. I would definitely use Stone Creation again and Jaymes was very easy to work with.

I called Marquis initially needing to have cracked tiles replaced - after seeing that they were…read morecurved edge tiles that would be very difficult to match and replace without unintentionally damaging nearby tiles, he recommended an alternative and much more practical option of sealing the cracks with grout. He even asked for additional photos of the shower to see if there were other areas that needed to be re-grouted or caulked. Marquis showed up the same afternoon, was so incredibly professional, and did such an amazing job that we don't notice the cracks at all now. We are so glad we found him and wouldn't hesitate to call again when we need grout or tile repair work!
