This is a business that truly lives up to their name. My wife and I wanted to replace the carpet we had in an area of the house with tile or laminate since our dogs spend a majority of the day in that space. We went to Home Depot and found something we liked, got a quote and the number seemed rather outrageous to us so our second opinion was going to Quality Floors for a quote. We went in there with a general layout of the room and measurements and got a decent estimate and decided to have them come out and get a real estimate. Not only was their measurement free of charge compared to the $50 charged by Home Depot, the estimate itself was $1,500 less. Same materials but a much better cost on the labor. We were impressed and instantly pulled the trigger on getting the project completed. 300 square foot of carpet removed and 300 square foot of faux wood laminate installed and we couldn't be happier. Not only was the installation done in a single day, the professionalism and work done was exactly what we hoped it would be. Plus now we have a much better floor in a room that takes a solid beating from the dogs. We went with a slightly more expensive/waterproof product but they definitely had many more affordable or fancier products available. After 3 companies turned down the work of my desired vinyl plank floors, due to the condition of the sub floor, Quality floors for Less handled it and for less than two big box stores and one other smaller outfit. Their selection wss incredible, the sales people were very informative, honest and their quote was not only less than all 3 other companies and was what I paid in the end, no surprise add ons, which I was told to expect. The installers did my job with very little wait, were polite, cautious, mindful, did amazingly good work and cleaned behind themselves way better than expected. So, I am a little late writing this review. We had our entire house flooring (around 1700 sq ft) of carpet and a mixture of sheet linoleum replaced with LVP flooring around 2 years ago in 2019. We shopped around the local carson stores, and they were just not interested in doing the whole job and recommended skipping closets and other non-used areas. We went to QF4L and got a quote from them. Once we picked out a comparable product we were looking at with carson vendors, they quoted an installation price that was fair, but less than the carson installers who wanted to skip closets and other things, We packed up the house, move stuff into a Storage unit, moved temporarily to a different location and were lucky enough to get the most skilled craftsman, Mark, to install our flooring. He did an immaculate job. He is very skilled, fast, and a perfectionist. The mitered cuts, the caulking, the finishing, the new baseboard, were done better than the original home builder. 2 years, later, it still looks great. Anybody can sell flooring, but its the installer that makes all the difference. I am still shocked to this day, that Mark the installer, was able to complete this job with complete perfection, in 3 days. The product that I purchased, also has held up, no split seams, no problems with scratches, no problems what so over. Its weird because I usually wait some time to see if problem crop up. So, I give two thumbs up to the installer Mark for his installation, and 2 thumbs up to qf4l for the product they sold us. Still looks new. I echo all the compliments for the installer Mark. Love these guys. We had them install LVP (wall to wall) in our old house, so knew exactly who to call when we needed some bedrooms re-floored in the new house. As with our last job with them, we had a wonderful experience. We walked in the store, where there are a gob of flooring samples, selected the one for us, got on their schedule based on the flooring arrival (within a couple weeks), and had the flooring installed in one day. My husband and I were beyond impressed with the product, work, and professionalism of Quality Floors. Sergey was so patient with us from the very beginning and walked us through all the different flooring types. He was honest about the floors that would work in our house and with our lifestyle and I appreciated that. We picked our floors and later found out that the manufacturer had discontinued them; Sergey called immediately and helped us pick out a different floor that was similar. The whole situation was handled very professionally. The team at Quality Floors then worked with our schedule to make sure the floors were installed in time for our move in date and the other renovations we were doing. We opted to prepare the floors for installation to save some money but honestly if I could do it again I'd probably just have Quality Floors do it because their prices are so fair. Once the floors were prepped, the installation was done in about two days. The attention to detail and quality of install is incredible. I continue to be impressed with the work the team did because it's flawless! I've never seen a better install job on floors than what these guys did. It really is fantastic. Two things I was a little disappointed in. First the floors were filthy after install and I felt like they should've been cleaned so we could see our beautiful floors in all their glory. Second, they didn't hang our doors after install but I'm guessing they lost sight of this because we had taken them off for them so they probably didn't realize they needed to be re-hung. While not the lowest bidder, we chose them because of their professional license information, their reputation and honesty found amongst the various review sites, and that they are the seamless installer of the materials they sell. Great to only have one person in our house, especially during COVID, but also with being very busy. We felt we could trust him for sure! I read the good reviews here and went into the store to look at purchasing wood floors. It was very busy at the time so I was left standing for awhile. I can overlook that but once the guy came to help us we realized he was really no help at all. We came in here for a deal since the name is "floors for less". We found that their prices are quite high, we were blown away. You are not saving money here as their prices did not even come close to Home Depot and some of the other places we went to. I was shocked to see people carrying out samples after we found out about the prices. It was shocking really so I had to tell others to "stay away" unless you want "floors for more, much more". I wanted to extend existing wood flooring to a foyer and contacted QF4less as I'd purchased the original product there. Sergei came out within a couple of days and explained what it would entail (not the easiest job). Later Mark came out to look at the job before the start date. He spent quite a bit of time making sure that existing wood fit with the newer wood. When I visited the store, the owner was knowledgeable and extremely helpful in selecting exactly what I needed for a high traffic area of my home. His staff (or subcontractors) were able to install everything in a day; however, in their haste, it seemed the overall pride in their work was lacking. Being a detail-oriented person by trade, I was surprised to see the mess that was left on my driveway, as well as the amount of dust and cleaning we had to do to the floors and adjoining rooms. Additionally, finish work was (originally) not applied to the transition areas, and one of the main area transitions had a 3-4 cm gap that was obvious. A month later, they did send someone back to finish the transitions pieces. We were informed then that finish work was not part of the contract. We paid for the highest option provided in our quote, so we were surprised by this comment. Why would finish work not be included? While the floors are (now) beautiful and exactly what we wanted, I was disappointed. We love to support small local businesses, but in doing so, we expect businesses to take pride in their work, regardless of the size of the customer. Thus said, I would still recommend Quality Floors 4 Less if you are seeking installation for less, but suggest that you triple check that they will be cleaning up after themselves and providing the finish work on the transitional pieces. read more

Backstory: we've done too many floors for one lifetime already and have yet to find a format & wood that meets all of our (likely unreasonable) requirements. Also have 3 days to max out our 2017 expenses so a decision needed to be made fast. After a quick Costco trip, we decide to head in here - loaded with questions. Hardness? Best underlayment material & why? Cupping risk? Shrinkage? Splitting?Accuracy of plank size within package? Company stability/warranty? Ease of install? Engineered/Solid/Finish in place? (All problems we've had in the past....) Both owners were in that day and answered all of our questions honestly and patiently. They showed us photos of completed jobs (it is really hard to envision just looking at a 2 x 3 sample board). Having both started out as installers themselves, they had a lot of inside knowledge that my partner appreciated (not just simple salesman stuff). We purchased 2 different products for 2 different jobs. They gave us a reasonable (discounted) price based on the amount purchased and even offered a cash discount. I'm not sure but they may offer finance options as well. Shipment arrived when promised, pickup went smoothly and now the fun part. (Not really but when it's done ill post pictures!) we had very bad experience with our contractor, we had to reinstall our hard wood floor. we found Floor 4 less, Sergey came to our house, he was very patient and very knowledgeable.
