It's refreshing to work with contractors who just offer great service. We hired them to do epoxy our 1 & 2 car garages right after closing. I spoke with Codi the week before closing and he offered a ball park quote but wanted to get into measure to be precise. Unfortunately, I couldn't let them in until we closed and wanted the floor done in the same week, so we could move the following week. They came on a Tuesday to measure and confirm the quote, which did not change from the original and was very fair. They started on Wednesday and finished on Friday. The floor cured on Saturday/Sunday and we moved in on Monday. It was such a tight timeline and we were so busy, I didn't have time to get them any payment until after the work was done. We had these guys rip out our downstairs of tile and carpet and also rip out and replace carpeting upstairs. Our slab was so uneven they spent almost 3 days grinding to make sure it was level in order to put down the flooring. A job that was supposed to take 4 or 5 days of the downstairs took week and a half, which they did so with great care. All the work was done as if it were their own, replacing all baseboard making it look superb. Their level of craftsmanship was fantastic, you could tell they took pride in their work. I simply cannot say enough good things about this business. Hopefully by the end of reading this review you'll be convinced that you MUST use this company. I had originally planned to buy the materials elsewhere & just have Chris Grant do the installation. However, they offer a discount if you also purchase the floor from them, so I went in to see what they have. Since they only stock high-quality floors that they stand by, I chose one with a little help & they installed it without problem. Impeccable customer service throughout. Amazingly nice crew. However, as soon as they left, my family and I noticed that the floor we'd chosen was popping and crackling. Chris came over to look at it, and he immediately said, "I wouldn't want to live with this floor, so I wouldn't expect you to, either." PEOPLE, they replaced the floor ON THEIR OWN DIME. If I had purchased the floor elsewhere, I would've been stuck in an endless loop of "it was installed wrong" from the manufacturer and "no, the floor is faulty" from the installer. But when The Floor Store & More says they stand by their products, THEY MEAN IT. But wait, I'm not done. When they came back to install floor #2 (one that I chose and like even better than the first), they went OUT OF THEIR WAY to make sure the baseboards remained pristine and that we still had a livable space each evening when they left. (We could still cook and eat in the kitchen each night & even sit and watch TV on the couch.) It took them longer than it would have if they'd just ripped it all out in a single day, but they truly treat each home as if it's their own and took the time and care to do it as perfectly as they could. (We have a largish family--six people--so this kind of courtesy made going through the installation a second time so much easier on us.) The quote I got from The Floor Store & More was not the lowest, but in the long run I saved thousands (not to mention my sanity) by going with them. BTW, they're also the only business I came across that will install, caulk, and paint your baseboards if you want them to. Please check out this company; it's rare to find such amazing customer service. This review is definitely overdue and I apologize to the guys for that! We chose this company to do the install of solid maple flooring throughout our entire home back in June and we could not be happier. My husband and I are in the midst of a pretty major home renovation and we both agree that Chris, Cody, and all the install guys have been the most professional to work with. Their attention to detail is outstanding, pricing is very reasonable (especially for the quality of work), and they offer extra touches that many companies do not. This includes painting over the nail holes in the new baseboards. You can tell they truly care about their work and all are very knowledgeable. We're living in our home during the reno so had a fair amount of furniture left inside and they moved it around as needed, taking care and caution, and surprised us by putting it all back where it was originally when they were done! We didn't expect that but it was much appreciated. Our job took two weeks so we got to know everyone pretty well, Derek and Lou being primary on our job. They're a group of hard working, friendly guys that are easy to talk to and get along with. They cleaned up after each workday and were very thorough cleaning up when the job was complete. I feel confident that we can reach out to them at any time in the future if we need repairs and we will not hesitate to use them again for any other flooring needs.
