I try to not write bad reviews for companies no matter how bad my experience, but this time I feel a need to do so for this company. I chose this company in May 2025 to do a paint job worth several thousands of dollars over $10K based on the great reviews and some homes that I saw with their signs as having painted in our neighborhood. My experience with them has been one poor quality job after another. I don't even know where to start from. Apparently they subcontract your paint job to another contractor, so the quality of work you get depends on the quality of the contractor you receive. The contractor did a terrible job that a regular handy man wouldn't even do. See pictures attached. They came back and supposedly fixed the issues that the initial contractor did poorly. Now the deck they were supposed to have stained not painted is all peeling off. It's not even 6 months and this is happening. They give you a guarantee of 2 years on the paint job, but with the very poor job they have done, I am not even sure what to expect in 2 years. Its so frustrating having to schedule time for them to come and review and send another crew out to fix the issues. Worst experience so far and not worth it. You are better off getting your painting done by true professional service that does not subcontract their Jobs read more

Joe was great starting with the estimate process. He came to the house and made sure he knew what I wanted and was on time. The crew that painted almost my whole house minus the bedrooms were done in the amount of time communicated to me. They did amazing work and cleaned up after themselves at the end of each day and walked me through everything they did that day. Will be using them for the rest of my house. read more

I call Certa Pro painters after December 2022 and had them come out to give me a quote on doing painting and installing crown molding in several rooms and after getting their quote I immediately hired them to do the job. They were able to start the job in a couple days and they finished the job in about 3 weeks. This job also included painting of cabinets and installing new hardware in the kitchen. Their prices were very good, and they left plenty of paint for me to use in the other rooms if I decide to do the painting myself. They use Shirwin paint and top of the line paint. They did everything I asked them to change as we moved along on the project and completed the additions in record time. The job was finished 5 days from Christmas which exceeded my expectations by a few weeks. You cannot go wrong by hiring them to do all your painting projects. Joe Alfano was professional and helpful assessing and scheduling this project. I am pleased with how early it was worked into the busy schedule of CertaPro Painters and the work done by the Painters. They were kind, focused and worked steadily in the high humidity and heat. Concerns:  On the first day I was informed the pressure washer would arrive at 8:30AM. After several calls he finnally arrived at 2:30 PM. At the beginning the Painters indicated to me that they did not know removal and installation of the Sun Screen Fabric was included in this paint job. Communication was a problem through out the project. Another concern is that the white paint flakes pressure washed and scraped from the pergola in preparation for painting are in the pinestraw, grass and rock pebbles around the patio. Also there is  paint on some of the maple tree leaves. The areas were not completly covered to prevent the flakes falling on it and it was not removed. The patio has white paint specks on it. This has been a problem for me  in previous paint jobs. So before the job was scheduled Joe Alfano assured me this would be removed.  Also, before Alexa began pressure washing he assured me it would be removed.  It wasn't. The Painters did a good job painting. Also Alex did a good job pressure washing and replacing rotted wood on the columns of the pergola.  This was a project that was long overdue. Joe Alfano showed up for the appointment on time and gave me the estimate within 20 minutes. I explained that it was higher than the competition. Joe said that he would talk with Bill Seigel. 2 1/2 business days later I receive an email from Joe stating that Bill Seigel thought that the price was fair. The Painting Company will do the same job for $165 less and their reviews and referrals are higher rated. What is fair for Bill Siegel may not be fair for the customer. read more

I had the outside of my house painted. The two man 'team' barely spoke English (one guy spoke no English and the lead guy from Guatemala was really struggling to communicate. I had nothing but problems. From painting the wrong colors (stopped and corrected), using the wrong paint a flat instead of egg shell, (never corrected), painting and --then---repairing and caulking!! Failing to caulk or hammer in nails.... Splattered paint all over the deck rails... I will have the house repainted next spring. I wish I could post photos. I cannot recommend CertaPro Painters. That said, the color professional, Patsy Overton Interiors, was wonderful! read more

My experience with Certapro totally exceeded my expectations. The process began with a visit from estimator - Joe - who has spent over 2 hours at my townhouse walking over every little thing, taking pics and writing out extremely detailed estimate, which he printed out along with the pics and headed over. I was also able to negotiate the price, which was one of the lowest to begin with comparing to estimates from 10 diff companies. Project supervisor - Hugo - took a great care of every minor detail, was extremely cautious, always reachable on his cell. Hugo was doing repairs and painting himself, along with his crew members, supervising the crew. Will definitely hire this company in the future and would recommend to anyone else. read more

Awesome experience!! I used CertaPro for my entire exterior house painting and could not have been happier with my experience. They were fantastic and blew my expectations away. From the first phone call to schedule my estimate to the job completion these guys were fantastic. They also had a paint consultant come out to meet my wife and I to make a color change. I had multiple estimates from other painters and they were the lowest and best response and customer service. Bill the owner is excellent and my paint crew was meticulous and professional. Certapro did a fantastic job. From the initial quote to the cleanup, it was a fantastic experience. When Anne Marie came out for the quote, she listened to exactly what I needed done. She did not try to pressure for additional work. The quote was straightforward. The crew that came and did the work were very courteous and seemed to really care about the quality of work they do. They did an amazing job and the finished product looks great- even better than I anticipated. The crew did such a good job cleaning up that you could not tell anyone was there doing work. I was very pleased as I did not have to worry about my dogs finding any debris to chew on. I highly recommend Certapro. I will definitely use them in the future. read more

I had CertaPro paint the exterior. All went well. I really enjoyed Rafael and his crew for very professional and fun attention to my project. They arrived exactly when they said they would, worked very hard (in Johns Creek heat!), and completed the job as discussed. There was an other good point and that was the quotation process where Joe prepared a document with pictures that what the scope was. That was then the document that the Team and I had. All patches done and attention paid even beyond. The end prices was to the penny what the quote was. I have mentioned to several of my friends that I was very happy camper after the project. read more
