We chose this company because all the good reviews. But our deck paint peeled off in 2 years and we had to repaint it. It was not worthy the money. After they gave the quote, by the time they worked on the deck they asked some extra charge about some area which we paid anyway but not totally happy about the extra charge. We had major Sheetrock work due to some glued mirrors being removed in our bathrooms and they fixed it to perfection and were able to keep the dust down to a minimum which is something that I have never seen before. (Typically the dust is unbearable.). The quality painting that they did is impressive. They take pride in their work and you won't find a speck of paint anywhere it doesn't belong. Roger and ASAP Painting was the company I selected to handle my new home interior after we moved in. We had many to choose from, and many that quoted our job...but in the end, Roger's price won us over, and beyond that, his attention to detail is what sealed the deal. We had many people come through here and not call out the things that Roger saw on his walk-thru of our home. His eyes don't miss a thing. He's a 3rd generation painter...this runs in his blood and it shows. He's a skilled individual who doesn't miss a single detail. He inspects and expects the same from his crew. When re-walking after his work, he'd catch things that I still would miss! It's very reassuring to have someone like him on the job. Found this company through Yelp and was encouraged by all the positive reviews, however I still had some skepticism given how most home service providers rarely live up to full expectation. The job we had involved painting of a large home front exterior stucco which included lots of trim and other details. It also required complete pressure washing of a large driveway area. In over 9 bids received, ASAP was the only one that offered us the most complete proposal and by far the most competitive rates and on top of everything, they truly were the only one available to do the job ASAP within 2 days from bidding date!! My skepticism grew bigger as I thought this ought to be too good to be true. In less than 3 days, the job was complete and the most perfect and satisfactory way and our newly purchased home never looked better!! I reached out to ASAP based on yelp reviews to paint my homes interior including the ceilings as well as other services. I received a call back from Todd. He came out and provided me with a comprehensive estimate that I felt was reasonable for the job with the work and small repairs he promised. He recommended two coats of paint, pretty standard. He advised me 25% was required up front and that his project manager would reach out to get me on the schedule and discuss paint colors. I paid the 25% and became very worried when days went by and the job had not began. I should have ran then. After that I quickly found out the work was subcontracted out. The painters only painted one coat and didnt have the attention to detail. You should not be able to see the dark tan underneath light grey paint. I have vaulted ceilings. If I didnt I would have done the paint job myself. Drippings were everywhere, repair areas not done until I mentioned it in the walk through. I emailed Todd with a list of the issues. He never reached out to me directly or followed up. Once he took my 25% deposit, he completely changed and went ghost. Todd must have reached out to the project manager about my email because he called me right away. The project manager did a walk through and I mentioned again about them not doing 2 coats of paint. He went through my home using tape to mark areas to revisit. Painters came back and addressed the marked areas only. Never got 2 coats of paint. I told the project manager to just send me an invoice for the remaining balance. I see my experience is not consistent with others so Im wondering if something shady is going on. And the project manager told me Todd left the company when I told him I was hoping Todd would call me. I left a message for the owner to call me and the voicemail said they will return after the holiday. If Roger is still the owner, I hope he reads this and contacts me. ****update**** I received an invoice for services outside of interior paint never rendered. My home looks a mess and you see all the imperfections in artificial light. You can see shadows of the tan paint beneath. Would you believe that when attempting to correct missing paint on a wall with flat paint that they used satin! Wire shelving removed has the supports put on backwards. This was a botched job. I'm hoping Roger is still the owner and will reach out to me to make this right. ****2nd update**** Roger reached out to me, did a walk through of the job and sincerely wanted to make things right. He was out of town for my project but took full responsibility for the service I received. I appreciate that he valued my business and had someone come within a week to do the fixes. I wasn't interested in a refund at all. I just wanted a decent paint job and he delivered. Roger is a professional and a nice guy. For this reason I have updated my review of a 1 to a 4. Roger and ASAP Paining: Highly Recommended! Roger completed work this evening to renovate (repair, pressure wash and stain) our deck, patio and driveway. Unfortunately, it had been a good 4 or more years since this deck had been stained or kept up. Within 24 hours of requesting an estimate, I was contacted by Roger who came to our home and provided recommendations. That evening, I received the estimate and knew we'd be using ASAP painting (two other calls to other companies were left unreturned). The very next day Roger showed up and began work. The entire project was 3 days, but Roger easily put in 7+ hours each day (on some of the hottest days we've seen thus far in the start of our GA summer). The driveway and patio look amazing after being pressure washed. A bench on the deck was looking worse for wear, so Roger pulled the damaged wood, and replaced those areas with new pieces it so it looks brand new. We couldn't be happier with the result. We definitely know who to call for any future projects. NO LONGER IN BUSINESS, (ALLEGEDLY!) I contacted this company several months ago and left a message for an estimate. I never heard back from them but never pursued the matter because that was my "red flag". When I Googled their address, I noticed that it was in a residential neighborhood which along with the lack of professionalism made me think that this was just a guy with a truck trying to start a business. He probably got overwhelmed with all of the Yelp attention and simply couldn't keep up. Toward the end of 2017, the tone of the reviews changed and there were complaints about calls not being returned and poor quality of the work. The last posted reviews are for the month of December and there are no new reviews for 2018. Remember, if it sounds too good to be true, sometimes it is. Just be careful and make sure that you are working with established, licensed businesses that have their own experienced employees.
