Whatever you do DO NOT bring your car here. Had a wrangler and thought something was wrong with my engine. Brought it in and they took 2 days just to tell me nothing was wrong except I needed new tires and that would level everything out and the ticking would disappear. They tried soaking me for $1600 for new tires and told me the engine was fine, when in fact it is the opposite of fine and a few months later my engine locked up. Guys in there didn't even look at my engine just tried to upsell me on new tires so they barely had to do any work. Workers were pretty rude as well and didn't seem to care about any one of their customers. read more

This was our first experience with CAM. We've heard a bunch of good things. We had extensive work done on our camper including brakes, tuneup, replacement of a driveshaft bearing, and other needed repairs. We have the camper back but haven't taken it any great distance to really test it out. Brakes work much better and it's running quite well. Eric at the counter was friendly, accommodating, informative, and quite helpful. That and CAM charged us $1200 less than the Ford dealer we got an estimate from. There isn't much they won't work on (some diesels) and hybrid work) so if it runs, they can fix it. read more

Cons . Billy sells cars with broken Motors and transmissions gives a warranty that is no good because no mechanic wants to replace parts they want to replace the whole motor as should be. The warranty is more pushed on you to go back to there mechanic shop so he gets the payment. The towing side is awful as well they talk crap about everyone and everyone that works for them are awful people. Bad business read more

If I could give zero stars I would. The front desk is manned by unprofessional teenage girls bickering amongst each other, while the mechanics have a could care less attitude. I'm backkkkk! Well, actually my Outlander is back, but this time, because it needed brakes and let's be honest here, I drive it like Mad Max!! I keep it classy though! It started out innocent enough that Mini-Me had ordered a remote auto start battery that needed to be replaced so, off to CAM in my car, so this could get taken care of. But unbeknownst to me, my car has a sonic banshee brake scream that I was either ignoring or couldn't hear over Mini-Me's infinite playlist, but the sound was not missed by the Bionic Ear's of the staff at CAM. I thought they were just happy to see us, because I noticed I was being greeted by Billy smiling and walking out from the front service office as we pulled in from Rte 9, I would say a cool walk, not quite panicky but definitely, brisk. Mini-Me said, they probably thought we weren't gonna stop. Billy said, "Ya need brakes." But, all smiling but all joking aside I knew he was correct, the CAM crew knows cars and my Outlander needed brakes and in a hurry. So, up on the rack she went and was given a good look over, I was given my quote for all 4 brakes and rotors which was super reasonable and I made the appointment for this past Monday. I was late by 3 hrs dropping my car off- I take total responsibility for that. Mid afternoon Monday I got a call that they needed to order an electronic part for the back brakes, and they would have it Tuesday, they were in fact concerned about this delay and that I might be put off, but on the contrary, I appreciated receiving a call As Soon as they foresaw the issue, giving me enough notice that the car wouldn't be ready until Tuesday, thus allowing me time to work on my logistics for work, -Thank you (Because I forgot to extend the same courtesy when I was late dropping the car off). Car was completed on Tuesday and runs beautifully. So, I have another car a Chrysler Sebring, that I had towed over 8 times back and forth between another mechanic in (Howell) and another dealership that advertises a lot locally (Toms River) and I have been waiting patiently for either one of them to fix the engine, waiting, tic-toc -tic-toc. Waiting you ask? how long? you ask? Long enough folks! Long FREAKING enough!! (Jersey hand slam on table) that's right Meanie is P-O'd!!! Since the summer of 2017. Why so long? because every time I drive the car off one of the lots after forking over my hard earned money, the same thing happens and it's towed back. Everyone rather point fingers than fix it! because they can't seem to diagnose the issue!! Well I'm done!! It's getting towed over to CAM and if they tell me it can't be fixed, then that's good enough for me., but if in fact it can be fixed and it's worth it, than no doubt it will be fixed right the first time by them. I'll post an updated review when I get my butt in gear and get the Chrysler towed. I quite literally, will NOT take my cars anywhere else but to CAM. read more

I was driving on 9 when my car started over heating luckily i seen Certified Auto Mall when i was looking for a place to park my truck. When i walked in i was greated by Zac and bill who were very friendly and quick to help me out in my time of need. They got there guys right on the problem and diagnosed it for me and told me my best options going forward. They were such a big help and really eased my stress in the situation. There's not many honest mechanics out there but these guys are 100 percent i recommend them to any one with a problem, i will be returning there for any more issues that occur with my vehicles. My daughter recently needed some general maintenance done on her car & took it to the dealer where she bought it. She was quoted a price of $200+ which she couldn't afford so she left. I remember a friend used to use CAM before she moved out of state & decided to give them a try. Eric helped her out & $30 later my daughter's car had the maintenance it really needed & we were all happy. I was in the process of purchasing a Class C Winnebago at the time & inquired if they could work on that type of vehicle. I knew it was going to need all new brakes as well as bearing work as I had an estimate done by a local Ford dealership. Dave looked up the vehicle & said they indeed could do the work. In fact, he gave me the towing number & his number telling me if I had any problem with driving it back home to NJ, they would come out & tow it. That's some customer service! Fast forward to the day she came home; we did not need the tow & Dave took it in right away. When I got it back the next week it had all new brakes, replaced bearing & a tune up (which was not included in Ford's quote at all). She had another issue with her hydraulic lifts & they candidly told me I would be better off taking it to a camper place. They could do part of the work, but if that didn't work, I'd likely be paying twice for the springs involved. That honesty goes a long way with me! At the end of the day I came home with my camper running great, & due to a special they were running (that they let me use on the camper), a lot more money than I expected. Not to mention their quote was already $1500 less than Ford's! Many thanks to all of the professional staff at CAM. Both Eric & Dave went above & beyond for us. Need a tow truck? Strongly recommend these guys, they're quick, don't beat around the bush, and professional. When my uncle didn't place his vehicle in park, and exited the vehicle, we found the vehicle 10 minutes later in our pond. We called the insurance company that sent a tow truck. Certified Auto Mall came out, and informed us, that the insurance company had not notified them that the vehicle was submerged. We set an appointment for the following day, and they came in and fished the vehicle out. Very professional!!!! read more

I have to say, when it comes to auto-mechanics, I'm always scared. Being a woman, and barely knowing anything about cars, I'm at the disadvantage when I walk into any place. I bought my car somewhere else, but about 5 months in, it started having problems. Then died in my job parking lot. I have one of those motor clubs, and these were the people that towed me back to the house. The tow truck driver was nice and informative. So much so that I had my car towed to this place, which is NOT close to me. My motor club membership covered most of the trip, and these guys didn't charge me the difference, nice touch. They fixed the car, but unfortunately, the fix didn't take. They thought it was the battery, but on my way back home, the car stalled... in a hail storm.... on an exit ramp. They came and got me quicker then the cops got there to re-route. No joke. Because we were kind of in the middle of nowhere, and it was hailing, the driver had me get into his car with heat and wait for my ride to come. He was very friendly and professional the whole time, and very patient, understanding my ride was a little slow due to the storm. He brought it back to them, and they immediately took responsibility for their actions (surprising for a mechanic) and were very apologetic for my troubles. They fixed everything for just the cost of the parts because they felt so bad. And even gave me a warranty on their work. And because of the high price (replacing an engine is expensive) and the fact I am trying to go back to school, we even made payment arrangements so it can work within my budget. I have nothing but good things to say about the service, honesty, and integrity of this place. Very hard to find a mechanic like these guys. I just wish they were closer. But honestly, I think I'll drive far out of the way to ensure I get service like this again. I don't think I'd trust anyone else. read more

Terrible experience. Paid way too much for a junk car that needed a lot of work immediately after purchasing. Part of the reason for the inflated price was because of poor credit for financing, but it was still overpriced. After two years of trouble and sinking money into we wanted to get rid of it and called to see what we could do to get into something more safe and were met with nothing but objections and rudeness. They even went as far as sending us back to the Hyundai dealership for repairs on my daughters car because they thought the car had a recent recall. They were right! If I could give 10 stars or even 100 I would. It was 3am on a Saturday I called my insurance company for a tow and was giving an hour ETA after hanging up the phone I received a phone call from the dispatcher saying they are sorry I'm stuck on the side of the road but they will be arriving in 20 minutes I was amazed and relieved. 10 minutes after that a tow truck pulled up in front of me the driver mike got out and assisted me. I was so amazed at there service and quick response I told him to take me to his shop in Howell since my car has been to the mechanic several times and nothing was done. After dropping my car off they gave me a ride home. The next morning I received a call with the issue with my car I told them go ahead and fix it. 2 hours later I was called and asked if I needed a ride back my car was finished. Not only am I happy with there quick tow skills but the fact they didn't keep my car all day and my car was fixed correctly and for not to expensive. The staff are great, the service is top notch and there's no taking advantage of you. I've needed a tow three times in the past 1.5 years and have called Certified every time. You reach a live person (possibly even the person who will dispatch for your call) and their response time is quick (plus however far they are from your location).
