I purchased a used Porsche from Certified Benz & Beemer. There were issues with the car that the Sales Manager, Chris Reyes, assured me would be taken care of. Unfortunately, things began to go very wrong. As agreed, I brought the car back 5 days after purchase for the repairs and a guaranteed a loaner car. The Service Manager informed me that he was not told and that a loaner car could not be provided. They kept my car for 12 days. When I returned to pick up the car most of the items were not corrected. They did manage to put 100 MILES on it. They put me in a potential serious liability situation should something had happened. The car also had no gas. In my opinion someone took it for a joy ride. The most notable item not repaired was the rearview mirror. They did try to replace it with an aftermarket part in an attempt to repair the mirror on the cheap. The part did not work and they were forced to get the mirror from Porsche. During this same visit, at my request, I had the factory radio replaced so that I could have Sirus XM. This same manager, Chris Reyes assured me that the dealership would take care of it at their cost. I was presented with a bill of $750.00 to install a $149.00 radio. It is my belief that the dealership was attempting to recover some of their costs for the other repairs. Prior to paying the invoice, I took the car to my own vendor due to excessive engine noise coming from the radio. They informed me the radio was not wired correctly and needed to be re-done at my expense. They also said they would have installed the same radio for less than half of what the dealer was charging me. I did not pay the dealer invoice as an offset to my expense. The situation gets much worse making me believe that Certified Benz & Beemer is unethical. Day one the vehicle pulled excessively to the right. They told me this was normal but, they would re-check the alignment. When they returned the car, they said the alignment was correct. I was not satisfied. I took the car to a Porsche dealership. They let me know that there was no way the car could be aligned correctly as the right side toe arm was bent and the sub-frame was cracked. Their opinion was an apprentice tech would notice such damage. It was also their opinion that whoever did align the car was aware of the damage and they attempted to compensate by over tightening the toe arm causing the sub-frame to crack. This repair was $3,400.00. Certified Benz & Beemer did cover the cost. In my opinion they knowingly tried to hide the damage hoping that my first service at Porsche would be a number of months later and the expense would have been my problem. The owner of Certified Benz & Beemer, Jack Schneider, claimed to have no knowledge of this and that they use a third party vendor for wheel alignments. This is a joke, as whenever a company uses a vendor, they are responsible. Jack should have taken 100% responsibility. During this repair they kept the car for another 12 days, now making it 24 in my first six weeks of ownership. I was upset with the problems I was having and asked Mr. Schneider to compensate me for the loss of the use of my car and for the unexplained 100 MILES. Mr. Schneider requested a meeting. During this, two unprofessional and one unbelievably dishonest situations were communicated to me. Mr. Schneider was clearly not going to compensate me in any way other than taking care of the outrageous radio invoice. He was upset about the cost of the repairs and acted as though he did me a favor. All of the repairs should have been cared for prior to the sale. Lastly, the Sales Manager, Chris Reyes actually told Mr. Schneider that I gave my consent to drive my car. Who in their right mind would give such consent? Mr. Schneider agreed with me. Mr. Reyes blatantly lied. Yet, he is still employed at the dealership. I am not aware of any business leader who knows his managers was dishonest about a customer, and they were not dismissed from their responsibilities immediately. It is my opinion that if you are in the market for a used vehicle, you should be skeptical about Certified Benz & Beemer. You can make your own judgment based on my experience but, in my opinion this dealership, Chris Reyes, and the ownership have acted unprofessionally, unethically and dishonestly. I gave them multiple chances to be fair and make me whole, they refused. It is my opinion that you should think twice before doing business with them. read more

My name is Frank. I happen to be a middle aged man who lives in the West valley and works in the East valley. I know what you are thinking..... Well, with happy school age children and a job I truly love, I opt to make the best of it. However, nothing says I need to feed my dependence on fossil fuels during my 56 mile (one-way commute) each day. So, what does an avid middle-aged life-long truck-driving man do? Well, he seeks and finds the smallest possible vehicle to purchase! Remember, I said "middle aged". My prize was the "Range Rover Evoque". Compared to my Platinum Crewmax 4x4 Tundra, it would basically fit in the bed. So, there I was, searching the internet and finding one at Certified Benz and Beemer. I was quickly assisted by Jeff who was a champ from the moment I met him. Things went well through the entire process including the appraisal of which Tom provided a reasonable trade-in price for the vehicle. I wasn't "tickled", but who is? Nonetheless, it was FAIR. I ended up taking an hour off of work and was literally in and out during that amount of time (thanks to the efforts of Travis in Finance) with my new Evoque. I thanked them for their time, and headed off into the sunset. I took the new bad boy home with the image of a James Bond movie playing in my head. After all, it is rather stylish. Proudly arrived home, took the kids and wife for a ride around the neighborhood, and quickly realized this tiny little clown car had one of the worst blind spots I had ever encountered. Had my wife not screamed in horror, I would have hit a very small child on his bicycle who was riding through a parking lot. You see, I am a big guy (6' 2" and 260#'s), and unless I remove my ribcage, I am unable to see out of the windshield while turning right. This had not been an issue on the freeway or in open areas, but put me in close quarters and this was nearly a catastrophe. This bothered me so greatly, I had my wife drive the car back to the house. I recalled Jeff mentioning a "10 day trade policy". I honestly felt this was a scam. However, literally prayed it was true. There was no chance I would want to keep this godforsaken clown car. I spent the entire evening reviewing the large inventory available and coming up with a few other vehicles I was interested in. At 5am the following morning I sent an email to Jeff...... "Jeff, regardless of the gimmick, fees, or whatever it takes, I need to get out of this vehicle. I found the following stock numbers and am heading there prior to heading to work..... if/when you get this email, please let me know"... Not an hour later, I received a text message "No gimmick, no fees, see you at 8". Let's set one thing straight..... To say this provided a calm like never before experienced would be an understatement. I've made a foolish purchase before in my 20's. Trying to get out of that took nearly an act of God along with my down payment, 12 payments of 100.00, a willingness to tell my college friends how wonderful they were, and the watch I was wearing on that day... LITERALLY! As God as my witness, I pulled up at 8, and Jeff had one of the very vehicles I listed waiting and gassed up for me waiting out front! Are you kidding me right now? Knowing I had a few I wanted to look at, he allowed me to sign a borrowers form, use that exact car for the morning (to get to work), and suggested I come back in order to check out the other vehicles I was interested in. In an effort of condensing the end of this story, I did just as he suggested..... I returned, selected a 2016 Audi Q5 Premiere Pro that looked like it just came out of a showroom, was once again greeted by Tom, quickly expedited through a mere paperwork exchange with Travis, and back on my way in an hour with my MUCH smarter, and MORE WELL thought out purchase. These three guys were amazing. The fact that in this day and age something like this is permitted truly blows my mind. However, I could not be happier, or not speak more highly of these kind and truly caring folks. Well played guys. Well played. read more

I bought a 2011 BMW 328i from Certified Benz & Beemer in January of 2015. My car buying experience and service experience (oil changes and light changes) with Val in the service department was nothing short of great. In August of 2016 I noticed my car "move/adjust" while the ac was on and the car was idle during traffic. I decided to take my car in and see what the issue was and it turned out that i needed to have the left and right engine mounts and the trans(mission) mounts replaced and the parts were covered under my warranty. I gave them the okay to fix the issue and also change my oil since it was almost due for one. A few hours after giving them the okay to fix the initial issue I got a call from the service tech saying they fixed the issues with the mounts, took the car out for a drive to make sure it was running okay. During that drive the car immediately drove rough/jerky and the check engine light came on. In the year and a half that I have had the car, I haven't had a single issue other than a blown out tail light. The service tech told me that I would need new engine coils and spark plugs to fix the issue other wise the car will ride rough and will only run on 4 cylinders instead of all 6. After talking with both the service tech and the service supervisor several times throughout the day to gain some clarity and discuss pricing solutions, the service tech stated that he would not continue to go around in circles saying the same thing and also said told me that I was being aggressive with him and that he would get aggressive with me (but I wasn't being aggressive and the general manager of Certified Benz & Beemer agreed that I was not aggressive and that the service tech should have explained the issue, solutions and pricing options to me 8 time in 10 different languages if thats what I need for clarity). I read several reviews on both the Yelp and BBB pages for Certified Benz & Beemer and have read several complaints about their service department and 3 of those reviews say they brought their car in for one issue and the service supervisor, Tyson told them their check engine light was on and they would need to replace their ignition coils and spark plugs. I'm not saying this would never happen because cars are meant to break, but for my car to have been operating at 98% on a Tuesday and then 40% the following day on a Wednesday after Certified Benz & Beemer put their hands on it... is just odd. They did not offer to replace anything and chalked it up to it being wear and tear. I am having my car fixed somewhere else and will never go back to Certified Benz & Beemer. I have an extended warranty and will go to another BMW dealer/service center 40 miles away from CBB so my car can be handled correctly and from honest people. Let my experience (and all the other documented on BBB and YELP) be a wake up call for you before you take your car to Certified Benz & Beemer. If your extended warranty is through CBB, look for a service shop 40 miles away from CBB location and take your car there (read reviews before). Please don't put yourself in a situation where they will screw you over and expect for you to pay for a mistake that wasn't there in the first place. read more

I had one of the worst car-buying experiences I've ever dealt with at Certified Benz and Beamer's. I'm leaving this review because I think other buyers deserve to know exactly how this dealership operates before wasting their time, money, and trust. I found a vehicle I was extremely interested in and spoke directly with their sales staff about purchasing it. Before sending any money, I specifically asked multiple times if the car would be held for me and if my deposit would secure the vehicle. I was repeatedly assured that the car was mine and that the deposit would prevent it from being sold to anyone else. Based on those promises, I sent them my deposit in good faith. After taking my money and reassuring me everything was set, they turned around and sold the car to someone else anyway. What makes this even worse is the complete lack of professionalism and accountability afterward. Instead of honoring their word or trying to make the situation right, I got excuses and vague responses. There was no urgency, no apology that felt genuine, and no respect for the fact that I had rearranged my schedule and finances based on their promises. A deposit is supposed to mean something. If a dealership tells a customer a vehicle is secured, then it should actually be secured. Otherwise, taking someone's money while continuing to shop the car around is completely unethical and misleading. This experience showed me that Certified Benz and Beamer's values making the quickest sale over honesty, communication, or customer loyalty. I understand cars sell quickly, but then don't promise a customer the vehicle is theirs after accepting a deposit. Don't make commitments you have no intention of honoring. I would strongly recommend that anyone considering doing business with this dealership get EVERYTHING in writing and think twice before sending any money. Trust is a huge part of buying a vehicle, especially online or remotely, and unfortunately this dealership completely destroyed that trust. I have purchased 2 cars from Certified Benz and Beemer. This fact should, in and of itself, speak volumes. In both cases, the overall buying experience was without any pressure, and i felt my Salesperson, Alex, really was aligned with me and genuinely attempting to find the right car for me. He was happy to spend as much time as needed assisting me in weighing the numerous options i was considering from their vast inventory. The entire buying experience was professional. But what really speaks to the integrity of this dealer was what happened after my second purchase. Shortly after the expiration of my warranty (yes, they do offer a warranty on their cars), a previously undetected mechanical issue manifested itself in my car. I contacted my Salesperson and informed him of it. He informed me that he wanted to ensure that i was pleased with my purchase and had confidence in the dealership and escalated my issue to Tony, the head of Service. Tony contacted me and arranged to meet with me and inspected my car, along with their Mercedes Master Mechanic, Larry. Ultimately, they said let's meet with the owner, Jack. Jack joined us and within minutes of us all discussing the issue, Jack, without hesitation informed us that he would repair the car. Jack demonstrated to me, in an instance where he could have easily deferred to the fact that i was just beyond my warranty period, the integrity that i felt existed at this dealer in every touchpoint i had experienced to this point. It all starts with the owner, and having met him and worked with him in one of those moments when people have the opportunity to demonstrate their true character, Jack displayed the integrity and customer focus that he has built the entire dealers culture on. This in an industry that has a reputation for a lack of integrity. This is a long way of saying that when the time comes for me to purchase my next car, to have any service performed on my current car, my first, and likely only stop, will be Certified Benz and Beemer. read more

I went in to buy a car. I will admit that I am extremely precise and determined on what I want! The only reason I came to Certified Benz and Beemer in Scottsdale was because I saw it on here at Dealer Rater. I have flown to cities just for a good auto buying experience. It's a good chunk of money and you will have the product for at least 5 years of your life, why wouldn't you take your time!? Anyways I saw on here that Samuel De Stefano was highly recommended to work with, so I called in and asked for him. He was young but was very helpful! We set up an appointment for later that day and as I arrived at 6:30pm, he was there waiting to open the door for me! We looked at a 2005 Mercedes Benz SL 5.0L, I was so impressed with the condition and the mileage of only 27k on the odometer! Sam walked me through it, showed me how to use the electric convertible top and spoke about how it compared to other vehicles they had available. Sam had me laughing and having fun within minutes! He moved a few models and drove the vehicle off of the 2nd floor so that I could drive it, and he trusted me enough to let me drive it for as long as I liked, alone. When I came back, again!!! He was holding the door waiting for me!!! He said I wold able to pull the car off and that it would look great at home and probably even make my neighbors jealous! I loved the quick, comfortable, and no pressure environment! They close at 8pm and I was talking with Samuel at about 7:45 and he was not rushed to go home what so ever, gave me his full attention from walking in all the way to walking out! A+ Dealership! This Toyota Solaria I recently purchased was the third vehicle in as little as 5 years from Certified Benz and Beemer. I am impressed with the professionalism and friendly-no-pressure attitude I receive. Starting with the sales guy, Mr Roseman (the most honest hard working salesperson Ive ever dealt with) to the Sales Manager-Lee Grubbs, (good ol boy from 'Bama) to the awesomely talented service guys consisting of Stacey, Brian Smith, and Bill,(the most talented and gifted man with a wrench) this bunch of classy-down-to-earth car experts will give you the straight truth each and every time. The huge inventory of vehicles will save you time and money, allowing you to see, and test drive different manufacturer models you may desire at one location, The new indoor facility is air conditioned year round, and pleasant even in August and September! You cant get a better deal on a top notch quality vehicle anywhere in the USA! Believe me,I am an Internet shopping junkie and I wont purchase unless its a great deal, and their prices are soooo good, I was embarrassed to ask for full tank of gas! The vehicles are fully "certified" and guaranteed. and you will never have buyer's remorse, as they let you bring the car back and exchange, if not happy for any reason. Now who does that these days? Unfortunately, and as discussed, my husband and I did reach out to CBB multiple times via email, text message and by phone, in an attempt to have CBB remedy the issues I described during our phone call. I've included the screenshots below. As noted in our conversation, it seems as though your position was that we should have continued emailing and calling until someone got back to us. Again, the question I posited to you during our phone call was: How many times do you expect a customer to contact your Sales Manager and GM, when all prior correspondence has gone unanswered? Based on our previous experience, your suggestion that we "could and should have given CBB the opportunity" to fix the number of issues I discussed with you, is simply unreasonable. In fact, we did give CBB the opportunity to fix the initial issues - but our numerous requests for remedy went completely unanswered. Again, I certainly appreciate your willingness to contact me; however, it's unfortunate that a negative review (instead of our numerous emails and calls in January and February 2024) was what triggered the communication. Nonetheless, and as discussed, I have amended my review to reflect your willingness to reach out and smooth things over. I know that you are newly employed by CBB, and I certainly hope that you treat future customers with greater respect and care. read more
