My mom had to drop off her car after a collision per the insurance. She went back to pick up her car and found the door handle broken (was not part of collision). When she said something they refused to take responsibility for it. And tried to say it was the tow truck that dropped the car off...mind you she dropped off the car herself. I understand things happen my mom understands it, what I don't understand is why them as a business can't take accountability. It speaks volumes to me about it. This was the worst experience I have ever had at a repair shop. The first time I went so I could get an estimate, the lady on the phone schedule me for the wrong day. One of the guys still gave me an estimate but they kept me waiting in the room for nearly 50 minutes!! Not only was as frustrating as I was the second person in line and they were doing nothing but talking in the back room, but I was also late to work!! I really don't understand how a simple estimate could take 50 minutes!!! When they gave me my rental vehicle two days later, they made me wait even longer than what they said they would. This also made me late to work!!! The guy said it would take five minutes to sign some papers and have the vehicle ready for me... this ended up not being such a big problem as the guy who helped me out told me that my car would be ready by Monday which would be three days later. Monday comes and I do not receive a call. I called them on Monday and they say it will be ready by Friday that week. I called on Friday and then they tell me that they are still waiting on some parts and that it will be ready by the worst on Thursday the upcoming week. Thursday comes and they tell me that they will have it for sure by Tuesday because they received parts on cars that were there since January and that those are prioritized. TUESDAY COMES AND THEY FINALLY SAY THEY WILL GIVE ME MY VEHICLE. They tell me they will call me at around 3 to tell me when to pick it up as they were going to wash it and do something else that i did not comprehend. He asked if I could pick it up the day after and I said no, as I asked for it done BY TUESDAY LIKE THEY SAID. 3pm comes and I don't receive a call. They closed at 5 without giving me a call... they were just trying to get an extra day to finish whatever they were still not done with. I AM PAYING $350 PER MONTH TO NOT DRIVE MY CAR THIS MONTH. This is absolutely unacceptable, these guys show that they do not care at all about their customers or their needs. These people do not stick to their word and completely disregard that their customers are relying on them to have their car by the time stated by the repair shop. All they could offer was a sorry ass excuse when I told them that my car had very little damage to the Driver side door and that this shouldn't take this long to fix it. Do not ever go here if you need your car fixed within a certain time range or if you need your car fixed at all as a matter of fact. These people don't care about their customers, as they make them wait weeks to have their cars fixed, and inexcusable amounts of time to give estimates and get back onto the phone with customers. If I could raise zero stars I absolutely wholeheartedly would. Update: I just now saw how my car looks in the sun, the light exposes the absolute sh** job they did polishing my car. Well, I'll keep it short. They worked on my bumper last year, March 2022. The bumper came apart. When I went back I was told they would call me when the bumper kit arrived. I was told the part was coming from Japan. I called evert month or two and I was told the same thing every call. Parts are on back order. I was a vendor for this company for years. A few weeks ago they called me in to put a stripe back on a car but it was a tape stripe and I don't do tape. I charged them a service charge to come out but they stopped payment on the check. I called them but they won't return my calls. I'd call that cheating the vendor. read more

They took my car and picked it up at my house they also provided me with a rental which I am very thankful for because I told Victor some personal issues and he helped me out a lot. Dropped off my car here on the 5th of April after I was rear ended. I thought the process would be smooth or someone would communicate with me throughout the repairs, none of that happened! It's been over 21/2 months and I still don't have my car. I keep getting false promises from Micheal about how he'll call and let me know what's going on and how he'll help with the rental deductible to offset my payments, NOTHING! After having a bad first experience with Certified Collision Group, I was contacted by the GM and he personally came to my house and viewed the video fro the dsahcams. He gave me his word that he would immediately take action and asked for a copy of the videos to use them as a training aid and he also made a check out to cover the damages to one of my dashcams. Early December 2018, I had a semi tractor turn into my lane and damage the front right fender, bumber, mirror, and tire. I was asked where I was going to take my car for repairs and I immediately thought of Victor and pulled his card out and called him to schedule an appointment. He handled everything and had his manager (Ferando) in Manteca contact me. He set everthing up and I had my car back in 4 days completely repaired and with NO ISSUES!! Not one alert from dashcams, no one going through my stuff, nothing!! I have to say, in every business there is always a rotten apple but this company personally seen to taking corrective action to make sure it never happens to another client. I am a repeat customer of Certified Collision Center in Tracy and every time I take any of my cars there, I leave VERY happy. My latest request of them was to remove the emblem off the trunk of my newly purchased, previously-owned Chrysler and patch and paint the post holes from that emblem removal. I also had them strip and repaint the entire front bumper. Lastly, I had them remove the chrome door handles and paint the replacement handles I purchased and install them on the car. Daniel, the Estimator who took care of me, is very professional and accommodating as far as scheduling the work to be done, etc. He explains the steps that need to take place and always answers all my questions. 3.5 Stars I was directed to certified by Geico after a car accident. They had me vehicle for approximately 10 working days. My pros list what i liked about they communication and insurance setup and the cons, personally, spoke more about workmanship and quality of work. Pros: Text alert updates Geico is setup in House which make the process a bit easier Cons: When i picked up my car i noticed the following and needed to ASK about it. 1) wheel rim was not replaced even though they had the rim and it was also a line item on repair order 2) they popped off my push start button and did not replace it, we actually had to search for it and found it in my center holder Annoyance...... 1) had to bring my car back to replace the rim on a separate day - how inconvenient!!! 2) asked about a alignment and was told it's not necessary based on the damage location. Did they even check? There was enough damage to require BOTh doors to be replaced instead of just the outer frame why one wouldn't think there could be more damage under the car. 3) Two weeks or so after pickup my car started making a loud pop sound anytime the tire was turned all the way right, my damage was on the left. It did take me longer to call and schedule a time to go back in, when i did, i was advised that i would have to pay a diagnostic fee to figure out if that sound was caused by the accident and they said do not call geico....well why can't i call geico?! read more

I wish I could rate this place lower than one star. Although they did a decent job on the body work of my vehicle, while my vehicle was in their care for a total of 33 days, it was severely damaged by water. Upon receiving my vehicle back once I got home I realized the damage. Mold & mildew throughout the vehicle and water throughout the vehicle. The smell was horrible as well. When I brought it to the manager's attention, he claims he didn't know how it happened. I brought the vehicle back in to them and they blew the car dry and tried to hide the scent by stuffing fabric softeners and spraying air freshener in it. Totally unacceptable. After going back & fourth with them and the insurance, my vehicle was finally taken to an outside source to be cleaned properly. This entire ordeal put me and my family at risk for health issues due to the mold and mildew in my vehicle. The negligence and incompetence caused by this body shop is absolutely appalling. And their lack of compassion made it even worst. Do not take your vehicle here. You will regret it. read more

I have received amazing customer service every time I've come to Certified Collision. My first two visits I worked with Summer and she was very friendly, knowledgable and helpful working with my insurance. I felt like she actually cared about my vehicle and getting me the most out of my insurance as well as made me feel comfortable coming back if there were any issues. I returned again today because of issues with a bumper that was replaced in 2017, Summer was out so I worked with Joe. He was phenomenal, not only did he get the bumper fixed but took care of a foggy headlight that was left after my other one was replaced. I highly recommend CCC, they have been so great! read more

This review is a little late, but honestly I am fed up and will never be taking my car back to this business. I took my 2006 Civic to Certified Collision Center on 4/27/2018 for front and rear bumper damage due to an accident. They initially told me it would be about a week for the repairs. Due to an unexpected issue with finding the proper front grill, they ended up having my car for exactly 2 weeks. Annoying then but looking back on it, it wasn't such a huge issue. The issues arose when they returned the car to me. While still on their property I noticed my trunk looked off. I brought this up to the advisor Sal, who said I could come back to have it looked at as they were closed. Fine. I then noticed upon lifting my hood a few days later, the plastic black cover that lines the engine bay was missing. I called back and talked to Sal who told me I could bring the car in but it would probably sit for a week or so before someone would look at it. I provided him with my number and he said he would call me when they could fix the trunk and get my engine cover piece back. I, to this day, have not received a call. I decided I would rather have someone else fix the issue than go back. What really pushed my over the edge was today 7/22/2019 I had my car lifted (for the FIRST time since the repairs) at my place of work for an under vehicle inspection. While they were looking at my car they found that someone tagged the inside of the bumper with what appears to be a clown face. ON THE BUMPER I PAID OVER $900 TO HAVE REPLACED. I can almost guarantee they wont do anything about it considering its been over a year, but I hope they check who they have working for them because tagging someone's car parts that they are spending A LOT of money to have replaced is inappropriate and inconsiderate. read more

My brother and I started our own plumbing company and unfortunately the accident happend on one of our trucks. Well let me start off with saying this is one of the most unreliable shops I've been to in Tracy. To start off when they did the estimation in the beginning they told my insurance it would only take 5K to fix it. Well after a couple of days my insurance called back and told us that they had done the estimate again because it wasn't done properly the first time. This time the estimate came but 9k more bringing it to nearly 15k total. I know its not something I should be worried about but that is only the beginning. After that D.A.B called us in an set an appointment to sign paperwork and get the process started there we received an email where B.A.D PROMISED us the due date of June 26th. Time passed we assumed everything was going accordingly until June 25th when we called to confirm the truck would be available. Jeff(manager) told me that the truck would still not be ready that we would receive a call back to give us a different date. August 17th I called back since neither D.A.B or Mercury insurance would give us an update. I spoke to a lady (receptionist i believe) who was checking why the truck was so delayed, she told me she spoke with Jeff who gave her all the details and the reason was because they had some back ordered parts, now she told me they would arrive within the week and that the truck would be ready on the 26th of August and we would get a call back to verify. We never received a call so I showed up to the shop on Tuesday August 23rd to see what was going on. I spoke to Jeff where he told me they were waiting on 1 part that was B.O. , he told me he would call me the day after to give me a new date. Yesterday Jeff called and said that they cannot get the piece, that due to that one piece been back ordered we would not get the truck back till mid or end of October. The way this shop is and has been according to the reviews is absurd DEFINITELY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND NOR COME BACK TO THIS SHOP. read more

I took my car here after it was broken into for repair. They did not complete on time, they did not complete the repairs correct the first time and to top it off, an employee hit my car damaging it. Oh they fixed it, but I am not happy. I have a vehicle with only 8k miles on it and the repair shop damages it. Be cautious about leaving your vehicle there. Their employees are not safe drivers as I sat and watched them tear in and out of the drive. Just be careful. read more

My Toyota Camry front bumper was replaced by Certified Collision about four months back. It was a very poor quality job as bumper keep coming out of bracket all the time. I took the car back five times to address the issue. To give them credit, they fix it added brackets but, the issue was never resolved. Fifth time they asked me to replace the bumper at my own cost. They inform me that I am heating the curb and that's new damage. Well, my original bumper never gave me any issues over four years. New bumper with such a low quality doesn't last even four months. I do not recommend Certified Collison Center to anyone. I am disappointed with Geico as well. This is authorized Geico collision center. Sadly Geico didn't stand by their customer. read more

With this visit I have mixed feelings. I have always been treated as family here. I have even been told by the owner Michael West that I was family and was given his personal number and to call him any time. The experience with them has always brought me back. Even those times when the customer service was subpar due to new staff it was made up for in the end. I called and spoke to Summer who was a pleasant female over the phone. She had me come in today to verify some warranty work from 2011 work done on my vehicle. According to her there's lifetime warranty on their paint jobs. I met with Joe who is the manager for Certified Collision. He was very professional. He went through documents of past work done on the car. He couldn't find the area in question in his paperwork even though it basically showed as almost he whole car being painted. He went through it all with me and in doing so I saw that there was no mention of other work done for me. Mind you I have requested unusual things which they went out of heir way for me. Not sure why things may have been left out but I know that they always took care of me and when things would come up they said not to worry about it. That's what family does. This is my first time meeting Joe the manager and I'm sure he would have been able to help me if the documentation was there but he declined to perform any warranty work on my paint job. What's a person to do when you know the area in question was worked on but someone failed to document it? I was even asked if I had any proof of the work being done from 2011. I laughed inside. I've gone through a lot with this shop and its sister shop Morgan Automotive. I feel terrible writing my experience with this visit as I have had so many Great experiences. I don't feel like running to Michael West the Owner every time there is an issue. Lesson learned make sure EVERYTHING gets documented and maybe not trust that the person working with you will cover everything in the paperwork. I was offered an estimate to have the work done out of pocket but really I drove off wondering if I even wanted to ever deal with them again. I've been dealing with Auto Body shop for over a month trying to get the repairs correct on my 2005 Chrysler Pacifica! They never call me back when they say they will. They are constantly giving me excuses as to why parts have not arrived. The didn't put my bumper on correctly when they said it was "an easy job". They damaged the passenger door of my car when fixing the original claim. I told them I was patient as long as they made the car right. Everything they ate doing has been wrong. If I treated my customers like they treat me I would be out of a job and I'm not even the best at what I do! They've shown complete ineptitude while working on my car! read more

I took in my 2020 4runner for repairs to a damaged rear passenger door. The customer service was great, Daniel the main person I dealt with through the whole process was understanding and personable. Tim (I believe that's his name) was great as well and willing to listen to us. But the issue was the quality of work, we received the vehicle a little under two weeks of dropping it off. Initially the vehicle had issues with orange peeling on the driver sider and passenger door not matching. The inner door frame had bubbling from the paint not being properly polished. We took the vehicle back to get properly corrected and they re-polish the inner door frame, to only damage the paint having to repaint it. We received the vehicle back, only to notice issues in the inner door frame as texture in the paint from the repainting it. They asked for the vehicle to return the following week at this point we decided not to return. The reason was that once the light hit the vehicle we identified more issue that we didn't become aware of. The vehicle had scratches that ran on the logo of the left side, driver side to passenger door had scratches, polish that was not properly applied. It had fish eyes on the rear quarter panel, scratches and polish marks that stretched from the driver fender to the rear taillight. The quality of work was horrendous. We ended up going to a different body shop in Tracy, that corrected all of our issues. The employees here are great, and have great customer skills. But the quality of work that was given is subpar and disappointing. I will avoid this body shop if I ever would need work to be done. I will say they wanted to correct the issues, and the manager wanted me to take it to another body shop owned by them. But with the quality and attempts to have it fixed was our last straw and we lost all trust in them fixing a 3 month old car. read more

This is got to be the worst repair experience ever for my entire life. Bring my car in for bumper job from a very miner accident. It took them thirty days to finish. At the end when I went there to pick up and was told some part is still not finish. Meaning I have to come back in a few days because theY have to order those parts. When I drove off I noticed the tire pressure warning light was on. I went into the shell gas station and found one of the tire was at 11 psi and others were at 20 while they all should be at 33. Maybe they don't know what they were doing or they just don't give a shit of their Customers.never wanna go back or refer to anyone read more
