So first a bit of history. This location was formerly Barreto's Auto Body, which handled a significant dent on my 2002 Toyota Tacoma in Forest Green. In Lodi a drunk woman decided to hit my truck in the parking lot and proceed to drive home like nothing happened. Long story short, a cop was in the right place at the right time and followed her to an apartment where she was arrested for DUI and the judge made her pay restitution. Yes, the justice system does work from time to time... Anyway, Barreto's did a great job and since then I found that Dings and Dents Gone has taken over the shop. This required painting two door panels along with color matching and blending the new coat with the original. Not an easy task, but one that a professional shop is expected to perform at a very high level. After a short wait period, my truck was completed at a very fair price and with a professional touch. I was looking for someone who could take care of both dents and paint touch up, regardless of the size of the project. Apparently nobody was interested except Dings & Dents Gone. They were booked up for a couple of weeks but after our appointment I can see why. Luis covered our vehicle, prepped the area of damage and proceeded to paint the area. When I came out to inspect the vehicle the red metallic finish looked great! I am really pleased with the results. The second part was the easy part of the project.....so I thought. I pulled out my vehicle that needed the dent removed. The look on Luis' face told me this dent would be a problem. He was fairly certain that he might not be able to remove 100% of the dent. It was right on the wheel well base and trim. Regardless, Luis was able to heat and manipulate the sheet metal and remove this dent. I was totally impressed. A couple of weeks ago someone dinged the left front fender of my car. It was minor in nature but still annoyed me. I read the reviews for Dings & Dents Gone and decided to go to the business where I met with Luis. He looked at the damage and told me to bring the car in the following day. I brought the car in the next day and within 30 minutes the ding was gone and there was no evidence that it was ever there. My car has an aluminum body and paint protection film on it so I was concerned that this might complicate the situation. It turns out there was no need to be concerned.
